You need to complete construction of the Nether Disruptor to get the Epic Hunter reward. Doing so will get you an Armorcrafters Commendation, which can be turned in to her to start this quest. She is located in one of the tents in Deliverance Point.

You turn in the 制甲工匠的奖章 to him once the 虚空干扰器 tower has been completed being built.

My mage was at 裁缝 skill 800 when I picked up the quest. Also, as noted by Blizzard GMs, if you are below 800 skill when turning in, even if you get to 800 skill sometime after turn-in, you have to wait for the next time the Nether Disruptor is built.

This is simply a reward for completing construction of the nether distruptor and is consumed by the following quest. It is not a crafting reagant nor does it serve any great purpose other than a reward you hand in a minute later.

Just to add in a few after you meet up with Elizer Hammerbeard in one of those tent, he will ask you to go to Dalaran and pick up a book and hand it back to him. Then he will give you another 4 more quest to follow.

1) The Godfighter,
2) The Dragonhunter,
3) The Hellslayer
4) The Armor of the Ancients.

Out of curiosity, once you've turned in the Commendation and received the quests, do you have to complete all of the quests before the Nether Disruptor is destroyed? Or can you work on them after the building is destroyed and still get the Legendary pattern?

I haven't been able to find a clear answer on this yet...

The rewards for the quest are determined when you complete the quest. When you completed the quest, you hadn't got 800 skill yet and this is why you didn't get the armorcraft commendation.

I got 800 40 minutes after the building was complete. This is ridiculous. The players who are selling their legendaries now will get ahead of those who will be able to sell them later. Absolute crap... Good job Blizzard.

Confirmed by GM.

You need to be 800 when you turn in 虚空干扰器 to get the next quest.

If you turn in the quest before being 800, you'll have to wait the next time disruptor is built.

As I posted on the Nether Disruptor section.

If you DO NOT see the Armorcrafter's Commendation as a reward from the quest you are not eligible yet for the item DO NOT complete the quest if you do not see the item it's as simple as that if you want to do the Legendary Craftable quests. It's actually shown as a quest item if are eligible.

Usually the reason is you are not 800, so abandon the quest get 800 skill then do the quest to get the item for this.

As an 800 l/w I was able to get the commendation however I was given the option to choose only ONE of the l/w pattern quests: either for the leather one or the mail one.

How do you unlock the 2nd pattern as a l/w? Do we get another commendation the 2nd time this building is constructed?

I've put the work into maxing out my profession, why aren't both patterns available?

Any advice is appreciated!

For Tailors and Blacksmithers, looting this item more than once has no benefits, as it is useless after the quest line for the legendary has been completed. For Leatherworkers, this item needs to be looted twice from 指挥官钱伯斯 by completing which can be done once the Nether Disruptor has been constructed(Once per each craftable legendary). Each time this is constructed, you are capable of collecting another 制甲工匠的奖章. Hopefully Blizzard will change this in the future based on what profession you have. Why this useless item can have a max stack of 20, and be looted infinitely is beyond me.

WARNING!

DON'T build the Nether Disruptor until you have at least 800+ in your crafting profession! If you do, you will not get the 制甲工匠的奖章 to start getting the crafting items you need in order to make these craftable legendaries!

Crafted Legendaries
There are four crafted legendaries in Patch 7.2. These are designed to be middle-of-the-road legendaries which provide throughput and 3 prismatic sockets, but have utility-type bonuses. As there is one legendary for each armor type, these procs are fairly generic and do not modify specific abilities or talents.

With the Nether Disruptor active, crafters can acquire 制甲工匠的奖章 which starts new questlines for crafted legendary reagents. With these items, players can craft the following:

These recipes are BoE and count towards a player's legendary cap (but not bad luck protection). To learn the recipes, reach a skill of 800 in Tailoring, Leatherworking, or Blacksmithing and speak to your profession trainer in either 暴风城 or 奥格瑞玛. You can also farm up the 虚空碎片精华 outside of the Nether Disruptor - it is always for sale for 0 虚空碎片 by 战斗法师凯丝琳.

Acquiring 暗影布卷 and 星纹布卷:

远古大氅 - Requires 100 古代灌魔丝纹布, obtained when using 古代灌魔丝纹护甲, looted off creatures on the Broken Shore.
暗影传说 - Requires 暗影线 from 顾问凡多斯 in Mythic Arcway.
星光传说 - Requires 星光线 from 顾问麦兰杜斯 in Mythic Court of Stars.
灵魂传说 - Requires 灵魂线 from 艾利桑德 in Nighthold in any difficulty.
Starweave and Shadowcloth - Create the legendary materials at the Queen's Grace Loom in Suramar by combining the quest items with 传奇裁缝的原材料.

Acquiring 灵触古皮:

古代皮革 - Requires 100 古代恐皮, obtained when using 古代恐皮护甲, looted off creatures on the Broken Shore.
小精灵与海 - Requires 油腻的女仆手套 from Wrath of Azshara in Mythic Eye of Azshara.
小精灵与暗影 - Requires 萨维斯的染色裹布 from Shade of Xavius in Mythic Darkheart Thicket.
小精灵与梦魇 - Requires 完美的法术腰带 from Xavius in Emerald Nightmare in any difficulty.
Wisp-Touched Elderhide - Create the legendary material at Hrul Sharphoof's dwelling in Thunder Totem by combining the quest items with 传奇皮匠的工具箱.

Acquiring 完整的守护之鳞:

远古锁甲 - Requires 100 古代刻鳞, obtained when using 古代刻鳞护甲, looted off creatures on the Broken Shore.
夜枭与叛徒 - Requires 完美的邪魂护肩 from Cordana Felsong in Mythic Vault of the Wardens.
夜枭与眼魔 - Requires 发光的一战护腕 from Viz'aduum in Mythic Upper Return to Karazhan.
夜枭与恐惧魔王 - Requires 孟菲斯托斯的抛光腿甲 from Mephistroth in Mythic Cathedral of the Eternal Night.
Prime Wardenscale - Create the legendary material by 塞莉娅 in Azsuna by combining the quest items with 传说守护之鳞补给品.

Acquiring 遗忘英雄之锤:

远古护甲 - Requires 100 古代邪钢, looted off creatures on the Broken Shore.
斗神者 - Requires 斗神者之锤 from Odyn in Mythic Halls of Valor.
猎龙者 - Requires 猎龙者之锤 from Dargul in Mythic Neltharion's Lair.
地狱杀手 - Requires 地狱杀手之锤 from Helya in Trial of Valor in any difficulty.
Hammer of Forgotten Heroes - Create the legendary material by the Firmament Stone in Highmountain at the Ironhorn Enclave (which can be tricky to reach.)

Remember to have AK25 or higher and completed the quest AND have profession at 800 before building the building. Confirmed by GM I've been pranked 2 weeks in a row.

Blacksmithing = 800: I tried to turn one of these in, but he just says (over and over) that I have to wait for some other armor to be completed. Waste of time? Seems so to me.

Simple but VERY important: the item MUST BE in your inventory. I had it in my bank. The bubble over the dwarf's head did not appear. Once I put in my bags, appeared.

So I submitted multiple tickets and been to every forum and neither Blizzard or anyone has an answer for my issue. I completed the quest for LW after reaching skill level 800 and began the quest a 2nd time after the disruptor was active again. I never did the quest and decided to change professions to Tailoring to craft the legendary tailoring item. After reaching skill level 800, and when the disruptor became active, I went to hand in the armor crafter's commendation to Eliezer Hammerbeard, but instead of it starting the Tailoring quest, he says, "Hold on just a moment. Let's finish the armor we're already making first." It appears my toon is stuck on the prior quest, however, I do not show in my quest log to abandon and there seems to be no way to reset this. I've even waited for the disruptor to come back up again the following week and still the same message. Is anyone else having this issue or know what I can possibly do? Appreciate the help!

I've created the leather boots, but I am unable to get a 2nd item/quest for the mail item. Is this a 1 time use per building completion?

Okay, so I finally got my tailoring to 800 and I made sure I did it while the nether disruptor was active and up. I am not getting the quest or the item needed in order to start those quests. Who exactly do I loot it from because I am not getting it from anyone. I spent so much gold to get to this because I wanted to get to this legendary for tailoring and was it worthless. Can you not get this item anymore?

So uhm..... i turned it the quest and i got this item, but after 2 sec the quest was avalible again, i could turn in many times and i got 20 of this item. There was people too asking everybody what is this?

HI i want to make bs and leather for my dk to skill 800 but idk when if get that skill when i will make legendery item Nether Disruptor tower will give me 2x quest for both work i make 2x legendery with both or only one of them can make it per weak when Nether Disruptor active ?

Hammerbeard won't have anything for you until you have been to Commander Chambers, who will offer you (I hope) Quest: Boon of the Nether Disruptor. When you complete that quest, your reward is Armorcrafters Recommendation. NOW go talk to Hammerbeard.

Anyone else having their commendation taken away post 8.0? I started the rp part about fashion, he gives me the choice of leather or mail, choose leather, then I "do not meet the requirements for that quest" and he goes back to the first dialog option again. Posting this to see if others had it happen, so far it has cost me two Commendations. If you don't know yet, I would not talk to him and let him take a Commendation away.

After 8.0, my Armorcrafter's Commendation was lost in the same way as Qoko described, I opened a ticket and this is the reply I got:

Thank you for reaching out regarding the issues you’re having with the legendary crafting quest chain. I was able to look into your report, and I can confirm this a bug we are working on attempting to resolve. While we do want to make sure we help out to the best of our ability, there are not any steps we can take currently due to the exact nature of the bug. Any items we reward back will have the exact same bugged behavior… and leave you in the same predicament. I think I can safely say we both want to avoid that!

We will be working on a fix for this in the days and weeks to come. Customer Service will not have any other resolution besides this in the near future. Feel free to reach out in a week or two if you still encounter this situation—we will be able to update you then, and if we do have any fixes, we will leverage those at that time.
