A reward for attending Blizzcon or purchasing the Virtual Ticket, as well as it's counterpart
This pet is awarded to all accounts that buys the BlizzCon 2016 Virtual Ticket. It costs $39.99 USD, and the pet will be useable on all your character on that Battle.net account.
The BlizzCon 2016 is running on November 4th and 5th, and the pet will most likely be added to the game and awarded to buyers a few days prior to the event.
Once Blizzcon 2016 is finished, it will most likely be impossible to obtain this pet.
Buyers of the BlizzCon virtual Ticket also get another battle pet:
Legionnaire Murky - 1 of 2 2016 BlizzCon reward pets
I can confirm: ally can summon only
HORDE Can summon
Find no special movement from this pet as of now. Gonna to make Horde and Alliance version meet in Dalaran and see what happen.
Their descriptions hint that they will kill each other.
Update: Alas, the two pets from both side met for 30s and nothing happened.
Unlike the Moonkin Hatchling which has a Horde/Alliance designation you can move either of these into your pet team on either faction. However the Knight-Captain will only show up in battle for ally and the Legionnaire only for Horde. You can level them both but only with their respective factions. Hopefully they'll fix this to work like the Moonkin pet.
When you summon Murky he's your minion insteady companion and you can't see his rarity or level. Submitted bug already.
This pet shows up as level 110 when moused over!
Currently does not seem to award a Feat of Strength achievement as all previous Blizzcon pets have. Hoping this is a bug or perhaps is awarded during/after the event.
If you have characters on both factions you can just send over Flawless Battle-Training Stones to level the other pet up, if you dont play so much on the specific faction
Does not seem to have any special idle animations as all previous BlizzCon pets have had. I've been fishing with mine for over a half hour as of typing this and he has done absolutely nothing.
This could be a bug tied to him being shown as a minion instead of a pet. Hopefully he does something (anything!) in the near future.
these two pets are beautiful but without an idle animation, I somewhat wish I hadn't bought the virtual pass just to finally get my own murky. Still fairly surprised they don't have idle animations given all murkys' had idle animations but w/e. Still a very Cute pet with very adorable sounds.
At least it's no longer a minion.
Currently the ability
For the Horde!
For the Alliance!
doesn't last three rounds, but until the fight is over.
So a common tactic atm would be to use
, then use the (bugged?) ability and swap pets.
Learning the pet awards
I wonder why the Knight Captain Murky has an idle animation but Legionnaire Murky doesn't have an idle animation. Checked it today and saw one dancing and the other not dancing.
