机械联结烙印矩阵 is an item craftable by Engineers. It is consumed on use, and doing so permanently unlocks the ability for a 猎人 to tame a mechanical pet!

Note that 地精 and 侏儒 hunters will automatically have the ability to tame mechanical pets without using this item. All other races require the Imprint Matrix to unlock the ability.

Some notes on Mechanical (and other) 猎人 pets in Legion:

A total of 4 NEW pet families will be tameable in Legion - Scalehides, Mana Sabers, Oxen, and Mechanicals.
Some of the new Mechanical pets will be challenge tames, meaning that they will require some skills and certain mechanics to be able to obtain them.
The Mechanical pet are not "exotic" pets, and as such ALL THREE specs can tame them.

Some tameable Mechanical pets include:

牧羊木匠 - Mechanical sheep in 艾尔文森林
原型机械陆行鸟 - Silver Mechano-strider in 洛克莫丹
擎天鸟 - Red and Blue Mechano-strider (Rare spawn) in 洛克莫丹
故障的作战小鸡 - Mechanical chicken in 洛克莫丹
冲刺 - Black/silver Mechano-wolf in 至高岭, Broken Isles
突进 - Red/silver Mechano-wolf in 阿苏纳, Broken Isles
弗兰德 - Blue/silver Mechano-wolf in 诺莫瑞根, 丹莫罗

This pattern is available from the vendor 苏伊奥斯 in Dalaran for 1 古怪硬币.

苏伊奥斯 is located in Dalaran at . He can be found tucked away outside and on the left side of the Bank of Dalaran towards the back of the building (between the bank and the Antonidas Memorial).

This vendor is a reference to the online FPS game Destiny, as are many of his items (英格拉姆的谜题, 迦拉尔之“角”, 圣光微粒).

苏伊奥斯 has two types of inventory items; some items are fixed, and are always available, but ONE item each day is a variable, randomly rotating item that will change from day to day!

Fixed Inventory

These items can be purchased from 苏伊奥斯 at any time.

Variable Inventory

ONE of the following items will appear on 苏伊奥斯' inventory each day. Each day a random item appears, and therefore if you are looking for something specific, you need to check back daily.

At present, 古怪硬币 is a random drop from a number of sources.
Some confirmed sources include:

Emissary cache, from completing 4 World Quests
Treasure chests in the Broken Isles
Mythic+ Challenger's Cache
Normal, Heroic and Mythic dungeon bosses
Rare spawns in the Broken Isles

What mechincal pets can i tame with this?

Be Aware.. do not pick this up unless your a full time Engineer.. switched out one of my gatherers to make this. Didnt have the mats on me, so went back to his gathering untill I had the mats.. when I purchased the book to return to engineering this schematic did not return...

so basically screwed myself out of a coin and a couple thousand gold trying to do this.

I do have a ticket in on it to find out if it's intended that way, or a bug, but I suspect that I'm screwed.

Becareful, I dont know why but the schematic for me did not learn... wasted 1 curious coin (had 800 engineering).

This item seems overly tedious to make. First you need a curious coin to purchase the recipe, then 20 bloods of sargeras, which are BoP and not easily obtained in large quantities. And you can't rank it up to lessen the ingredients required. Luckily there are people that actually go through the trouble of making these and putting them on the AH for us non gnome/goblin hunters with an affinity for mechanical pets.
