I don't always cheat death, but when I do, I prefer dis equip.
Very bad if you don't die within reason. Amazing if you do.
This is simply fantastic. It's a no-brainer this item will become mandatory for mythic raiding holy priests.
Good news everyone! It can do agility strength or intellect, so it fits all your holy priest needs!
is the last boss in the the level 85 dungeon
As per the lore
, Archbishop Benedictus was a student of Archbishop Alonsus Faol and succeeded him as the leader of the Church of the Holy Light. He was later revealed as the Twilight Prophet (or Twilight Father) of the Twilight's Hammer cult after the death of Cho'gall. As such, he was working with Deathwing to end all life in Azeroth.
UPDATE: The latest Beta patch has adjusted many of the passive effects of these legendaries. The following represents the most current in-game data as of August 28/16 (many of the Wowhead tooltips have not been updated yet!)
This is one of the new legendary world drops that are coming in Legion. Some of these drops are class-specific, and others are shared between classes (or have no class requirement at all!)
At the beginning of Legion, only 1 legendary item can be equipped at a time. Over time, as the expansion progresses this cap will be increased (
Here is some further information about these items:
The legendary items are intended to be used for the entire expansion. They are currently item level 895, and it remains to be seen whether this will change prior to release, or during Legion itself (for comparison, Mythic mode gear from
is iLvl 880).
Thus far, it appears that legendaries will drop from dungeon bosses, raid bosses, PvP Strongboxes, Mythic+ Weekly Caches and World Quest Caches (rewarded after completing 4 world quests).
As it stands, these will be the ONLY sources that will yield legendaries
. Blizzard may expand where they can come from in the future (Source: Legion Summit Dev Interview,

Legion Live Developer Q & A
While the legendaries are rare drops, they are not fully random - there will be ways to target specific items (
More difficult content will have a higher chance of dropping these items (
It should be nearly impossible to get a duplicate legendary item. (Source: Legion Summit Dev Interview,
Some level of bad luck streak protection also applies to legendary items (i.e. the chances of you getting a legendary will slowly increase if you don't have one drop). (Source: Legion Summit Dev Interview,
If the slot for the item is transmoggable, you can transmog these legendaries to other appearances, and vice versa (unlike legendary items from previous expansions) (
Legion legendary procs/effects will be disabled in instanced PvP (
Blizzard plans to institute a "suppression aura" in effect for a certain number of weeks after Mythic raids are available, which would disable any legendary item passive effects (they would still function normally as high-ilvl regular items, with the primary/secondary stats intact).
- As per the latest information, Legion legendaries WILL BE allowed in all raid situations,
INCLUDING Mythic difficulty
. The previously noted "suppression aura" in Mythic will not be implemented. (Source: Legion Summit Dev Interview,
All legendary bonus effects are passive "Equip" effects (there are no "Use" effects on these items)

Now Holy Priest is always soulstoned to quickly recover after a wipe (if full wipe occurs within 15 seconds of his death)
The real question is how it interacts with combat ress limit during raid encounters.
Crazy OP in my opnion. Second life without wasting ressurection+infinity mana?
You will get this debuff:
and this buff:
I got this from Helya - Maw of Souls - Mythic plus + 3.
We made time for 2 chests and each chest contained one legendarie!
When you die as a holy priest you turn into a angel, that last 20s with the right talent. After the angel time you revive with 100% life and mana based on your perfomance as angel (didn't quite understand this but ok).
- you dont lose food effect backing into life.
- your revival does not count for batte ress purposes.
- after you revive, you have a 10 min debuff to benefit from the effect again, but it reset in raid wipes.
I had this drop from LFR wing 2 last night. Some notes:
It doesn't seem to restore any mana.
It doesn't count against the in combat res counter.
Combat does reset when the proc happens, so you can use the effect to quickly res a group if you die last.
Your bodyguard doesn't disappear while you are in spirit healer form.
- when going angel your manabar becomes "frozen". No mana loss as usual, but also no manareg
- after your 15 seconds (or 22,5 talented which is a good choice now) you instantly revive with the exact same mana you had when you died
- it doesn't count as combat ress
- you keep all your buffs as if you didn't die in the first place
- your 1 minute pot CD starts ticking down as soon as you go angel(!)
Whenever you choose to die on purpose, remember to drink your manapotion before!
This cloak is awesome :D
I got this in a chest from completing Highmountain Tribe world quests. Really like it.
got it from a treasure chest in aszuna today, first time I saw one that wasn't from a boss or emissary box.
Got this drop off a WQ Rare Elite in Highmountain.... a mob.
Xanshi is a very shadow priest-looking dark blue and black planet from Green Lantern comic books.

... Ok, I found wowhead page about references.
At least, I tried to make some interesting theme to notice. :D
This is the best thing to ever happen to my priest.
Die, heal for 15-22.5 seconds (depending on talents) without concern for damage to yourself, come back to life as if you never died (all buffs in place, no gear damage). This has saved my dungeon/raid group so many times. Think of all those times you heal in a random group and you're the only one with rez abilities and die. No longer a problem. Love.
More useful in groups than while solo, but even solo all mobs run away as soon as you "die." This means as long as you're not in a crowded spawn point you should have a chance to get off a Holy Word: Serenity to get back to a survivable HP.
Dropped this in the Karazhan chest you open after you defeat the
boss. Got me by surprise.
Does anyone know if the cape gives (double)honor? I cant seem to find this info anywhere on the internet. People seem to want to compare it to soul stone, but that res' u after u certainly die(and gives double honor if u die twice), or the shamans battle res, which gives honor once after the 2nd death. I want to assume it works like the shaman res only bc you dont for sure get 100% health bk, as well as has a time limit like the shaman res(granted its 10min vs 1hr). It got me thinking after I've used the cape multiple times to escape. Its especially useful when multiple ppl gang up on u, assume your dead bc ur in angel form, then usually walk away, or distracted by your body guard who hits like a wet noodle(seriously ppl the body guard doesnt give you anything XD) so i usually will usually heal up and feather away, and then eventually mount up. This maybe bc they dont pay attention to if they get honor or not. Although I would advice doing that since it has helped when ppl do things like the shaman battle res or when hunters play dead at dangerously low health.
Rdf n, violet hold second boss.. (with 941 ilvl) k. Honestly, for me this is the worst legendary - and here is why: yes, you do get a rez - once. However, you don't get any mana back. You get the spirit form just once, like you would without it. Much like, you move your op healing a little in advance.. with the drawback you can't use it again after a cr. Oh and it is cheating, which i don't want to do as holy..
Sometimes, it is good to die on purpose. There are crezzes for that. This cloak makes it pointless.
Really... all i find it good for is to switch before phase 6 on the mt challenge, so you don't need to redo everything if you screw up on a boss jump (which you won't anyway in a few tries, i failed twice). Else, just dump it in the void storage and count it troll.
