Sold by the new TBC Timewalking vendor
I was waiting for an item like this since BC,
being the only, limited way to appear as a broken.
Very cool toy if you ask me. Sold by Timewalking vendor for
. You obtain 5 of those badges every boss, 10 for final boss and 10 more every time you finish a random Timewalking dungeon during its week.
The best way to farm this and other toys from Timewalking is to do one instance (at least) per event
on every alt
since the first one will
(except Gundrak at the moment due to a bug) grant you 500
, thanks to
(Burning Crusade) and
This is not the
way to do it, but it is the one requiring less time spent, since you'll basically complete it after a few weeks with little effort. The alternative is to grind.
It's up to you to choose if you wanna do it Timewalking or Time-wasting :)
You are so easily... broken.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##
Duration is 5 minutes for those wondering
As of today the current build on the PTR has the price lowered from the original 12500 to 1250.
That is very good news for those of us who dreamed of getting both mounts and the toys/vanity items.
Edit: Blizz decided that while they were going to nerf the cost to 1/10th the previous cost they also decided to nerf the badge drop rate to 1/30th the previous drop rate.
So this turns out to be a huge increase in the total cost of these items.
This current design team sucks.
Hmmm I was really wanting to go after this but "breaks in combat" sucks :( It even uses your own gear how awesome is that!
As of today (September 30, 2015) the Mark of the Ashtongue breaks upon entering combat. If you don't mind spending 1300 time-warped badges then go for it but if you intended to use it while quesitng/doing dungeons/raiding then that's a no go.
Some information about this toy:
When you transform, it still shows your equipped weapon/armor(minus the helm) - similar to the
in that regard!
Has a duration of 5 minutes, with a cooldown of 30 minutes. If you want to extend the duration, you can use
(twice on a party member) whenever it's about to run out.
I also made a quick video showcasing it
if you want to see it in action before dropping 1250x
Update: This toy was hotfixed on 10/1/2015 to no longer disappear upon entering combat!
Does not work in combat.
The toy transmog my female dwarf warrior into a male broken. For some reason it also moved the helmet.
When using you should not display your cloak.
The model bugs and your shoulder region goes invisible, letting you see clean threw your broken body.
Why does Blizzard always make items like this have a low duration to cool down rate? Its really annoying if you want to try and use them to RP as an exotic race.
For those of you wondering, the Broken model uses the old(!) Tauren animations.
If you mouse over someone using this toy it actually says "Broken <class>". I'm impressed.
My transmogged appearance remain under the transformed form... Kind of, because it looks a little messed up. I guess it's an unintended bug, but I think it's cool. All transformation toy should keep the character's amour appearance along with the weapon.
