The name Al'burq could be translated to The Lightning in Arabic.
, this is part of the Artifact weapon set for Windwalker
This set is known as "Fists of the Heavens" and was imbued with the essence of Al'Akir, and "unspeakable amounts of raw elemental fury."
You can read about these "handblade" weapons on the
Monk Artifact Reveal blog
on the wow site.
The name Al'burq likely comes from a variation of برق or البرق, one of the ways to say Lightning in (some dialects of) Arabic.

Seriously? Main hand and off hand again? I thought they removed it for fist weapons. How the transmog gonna work for this?
I'll be disappointed if building up chi while wielding these doesn't make seven marks appear on your character's chest.
"I KNEW we
should've taken a left turn
How will these look when seathed? I hope they can be seen
why are we naming fist weapons for monks ( I hate fist weapons ) in Arabic? seriously
You can use this macro to open up your artifact weapon talent tree directly:
When you fall from high distance (that will damage you) you will crash down into the ground and push people back in a "super hero style" crash down
Worth to note if you jump and then use dragon kick, there is a chance that it will proc for small free damage boost, but be aware it knocks mobs back like a thunderstorm.
If you reset your artifact weapon (the talents/traits) you DONT lose any artifact power except for the artifact power you pay for the reset!
Recorded it myself.
Here's a compendium of everything that I've noticed about these beauties:
While the Legion is invading Argus, you destroy portals using the lightning of these weapons.
Several NPC's in the Broken Isles will comment on your weapons. (I noticed this in Stormheim!)
When you are a certain height above ground, your character sparks with electricity.
I didn't include anything that anyone previously mentioned. I'll be sure to add more as I continue my travels!
Considering the other two weapons are from Pandaria an deeply ingrained in it's history, I thought it was strange that we got these weapons from the Vortex Pinnacle, a place from Cataclysm. The weapons wield the power of Al'akir, one of Deathwing's elemental lords and harbingers of the cataclysm. Then I started thinking, it sort of fits thematically.
MoP, the expansion associated with monks, came after Cata and mostly dealt with the fallout from Cata: Garrosh's rise to power, Varian's unification of the Alliance after their repeated losses, and how much the old hatreds of the two superpowers affected the world around them. So in that sense, it is cool to see the class that represents MoP taking the power of the Cataclysm and turning it into a weapon for good. That's just my 2 cents.
Ok.I am stupid. How do I open all the traits I have in fits?I have the artifacts placed in firts 3 fields that are on top,but everything else is grayed out.
What do I do with it?
Anybody know why when I follow the instructions I get "you are in the wrong class specialization"?
