Unsinkable like the Titanic, huh ?
I expect this to be a pretty valuable equipment for those Hellfire/ Blockade or otherwise dangerous missions where you would send your most precious ship.
Not very effective against icebergs.

This strikes me as less than useful. In order to fit this, you're removing other counters from the ship, reducing the success chance anyway. So why not drop the 500 resources on things to counter the mission's objectives, so that you increase the chance to 100%.
Since we can replace counters, it'd mean the misson would need to have a minimum of seven objectives to counter, at which point sending in a fleet that can counter at most three of them is not going to have much of a prayer anyway.
I just put some of these on my ships. It's a 2 ship mission with 5 counters (not counting the ship types). At 2 per ship, that left one out so I decided to see what Unsinkable would do for me. Before Unsinkable was applied the mission had an 84% chance to succeed. After Unsinkable was applied to one ship it stayed the same. Applying unsinkable to the second ship dropped the chance to 80%. The counters that was overwritten were Evasive and Minelayer.
At the time of this comment, I'm just sending the ships out so I'll have to fill in the result later.
EDIT: The mission succeeded so all I can do is confirm that rewards were received and both ships still have Unsinkable equipped on them.

does unsinkable prevent you ships from being destroyed,
cause if it does i would put it on all the ships
why risk losing a max lvl purple ship
If they are consumed. You won't get an empty counter slot. I am not sure if those were the previously overridden counter or new random ones. This makes it a bit more valuable especially if you encounter the missions with
Edit: Seems you will get a new random threat counter(or ship type success chance increase) once they are consumed.
This item is unappreciated in early guides because they assumed everyone rushes the missions with no epic ships and a full fleet. However, if you are like me and you only run the legendary leg of the shipyards a few weeks after you start them, it's practically the best item there is. This is because with three epic ships, and the proper ships, on the particular missions, this item makes you able to save at least two ships in the worst case scenario without losing any chance at all on success.
That last bit makes it basically a no-brainer. With garrison resources being easy to come by after a point, and with success chance not diminishing in epic ship setups, then there is little point not using it.
It's particularly useful if you plan to save rare crews.

This item is an absolute Godsend if you focus on gold making with your Shipyard + garrison. Since rare treasure missions are far more frequent, 1-2 800 starting gold missions every second day, 2xdwarven crews with 1
each and 2 other equipment you can get as high 75% and not worry about losing ship on a failed mission. Also sometimes the equipment isnt even comsumed when you ship is hit ive noticed, so it has milage too.
A useful Tip is to have at least 1 destroyer, carrier, battleship and sub with dwarven crews to cover nearly all possible combos for missions.
I guess i will buy this since my garrison supplies are almost worthless.
Seems to be obsolete. I've tried several times to get these to trigger, hoping for one of the increased chance with , but no luck. The mission board says it's sinking and everything. But the ship is still in the fleet with the
