Use: Activates the power of Thorasus, Nithramus, and Maalus. All Thorasus-, Nithramus-, and Maalus-wearing allies are empowered, dealing (2500 / 100)% additional damage for 15 sec. When this effect ends, *you* explode for (2500 / 100)% of all damage dealt by the empowered allies, to all enemies within 20 yards. (2 min shared cooldown)
Important quick facts before I get into this:
This ring is activated by a SINGLE PERSON and EVERYONE with the DPS Legendary rings get the proc with the person that activated it.
Everyone WITH THE LEGENDARY RING (of said specific category of rings) gets the shared cooldown of 2 minutes.
During the proc you will get a
25% increased damage for 15 seconds
has been confirmed
that the AoE explosion will ONLY come from the player using the ring/starting the proc, so ranged won't have to ruin their positioning just to get that extra DPS out, plus, you will be awarded for your share of damage so it won't break the recount/logs either.

I wonder if they'll make this ring visible on your character like black ice? It is legendery afterall, would suck if the only thing legendery about it was its tooltip colour.

Shared cooldown? Like everyone who has the ring shares it together? If so, some jack ass could use the ring before a big fight, activate all of ours, wasting it. That doesn't sound very cool....

This is the Strength version of the "Savage Hallows", the three legendary DPS rings for the Draenor expansion. The other versions are:
These rings grant an on-use ability that increases the damage dealt by all members of your party wearing any of these rings by a minimum of 25% (up to a maximum of 43.7% at item level 795). The exact amount of the damage buff is determined by the item level of your own ring, not that of the activating player's.
When the buff expires, everyone who was buffed will deal an additional amount of Holy damage split across all enemies within 20 yards of the activating player's postion. The damage dealt by each player will be equal to a minimum of 25% (up to 43.7%) of all damage that player dealt while the buff was active. As with the buff, the exact amount of damage dealt depends on each player's ring's item level. Since this additional damage affects enemies based on the activating player's location, whoever triggered the buff should make sure they are standing near the boss when the buff ends.
Triggering this ability will cause a two-minute cooldown on this ring's ability for everyone wearing one of these rings.
This ring can be upgraded three item levels (up to 795) using

on all difficulties except LFR. You may only obtain one of these items per week across all difficulties. As of January 2016, you may also purchase an unlimited number of these items at the cost of 1250
(faction base in Tanaan Jungle) or
(Khadgar's Tower in Talador).

You know what confuses me?
The DPS Rings are (Mainly) red, and the Tank Ring is blue.
But, the DPS Ring effect is blue, and the Tank Ring effect is red.
Makes no sense! The Healer Ring is green, and it stays green.
For those interested, there is following Weak Aura.
It tracks all 5 rings, ordered in 3 groups: DPS, Healer and Tank.
What it does is that it shows the remaining cooldown untill it can be used again, it shows who used it and how long time there is on the buff when it is triggered.
Unfortunately the 7500 character limit means you will find the
weak aura in this pastebin link
The weak aura is not made by me personally. But that does not make it any less usefull in raids :)
Does the main stat boost still be in legendary ring? Archmage's Greater Incandecence buff
The flavor text to this item seems to be a reference to the three 'Deathly Hallows' from the Harry Potter books/movies. Hence why the flavor text is only on three of the rings and not all five.
Ring working in

And finally, the Cloak of Invisibility.
Together, they form the Deathly Hallows. Together, they make one the master of Death.
We've already seen Legendary Cloaks from Pandaria, now a similar set of rings from Draenor. While a little out of order, it stands to reason there will be a legendary wand/weapon upcoming in Legion (which there already is talk with the weapons)

This and all other legendary rings will downscale to ilvl 725 in PVP combat regardless of their upgrade level.
They must have had DK's in mind with the tanking ring giving a red (bloody) aura and the dps ring giving a blue (frosty) aura. :)
You cannot wear
Archmage ring at the same time, despite different wording within the titles.
Don't waste your money! You will get the red, error text:
"You can only equip one item in the Band of the Archmage category"
If you want a macro to only use your ring when you're not in a group use this:
/use Thorasus, the Stone Heart of Draenor
You can also add it to your normal cooldown ability and never have to worry about it using your ring in a group or raid:

Forget the Legendary Ring... Look at those 50 gold coins you can earn by selling it :O!

Tooltip is bugged at 110, says the proc does 44% of damage done as aoe but it only does 0.2%
