Dropped after about 20+ crates of Salvage. This item shares its appearance with only one other version and that is the staff Boosted 90 Druids get. Only way to get this without boosting a druid is through the Big Crate of Salvage.
However with the amount of gray items and other non-rare greens i count myself lucky that i got it as quick as I did.

Edit: This item will only have a chance to be contained in the crate if you are a Druid. The replica boosted gear will only drop for those same classes in the Big crates.

Ive got this item about 5 times since I upgraded my Salvage Yard to level 3. Is there more to it than a 610 staff?

Don't care if this get downvoted but I didn't know this staff existed until today and it was a wonderful surprise. I've salvaged alot of boxes and got the whole Springrain armor, several parts I've got multiple times like 春雨法杖 have dropped 6 times or so.
So when this dropped today with my daily salvage which included yet another of the staves it was very surprising and I must say it's a beautiful staff. The details with the flowers which creates small sparkling spores, orbs and the soft faded colours is just lovely.
Now I just need to find a transmog to match it....

I personally feel that the coloration of the boosted 90 druid set doesn't match this staff that well; for transmog, I'm using the set from the Burning Crusade dungeons (the Wildheart Raiment Recolor). It's a paler blue that matches the staff well.

I am convinced this isn't dropping anymore. I just opened 923 big crates of salvage and got no staff. I got 13 spears and 5 staves, but no staff. I opened half with my loot specialization as feral and the other half as resto.

Am SO mad, am SO unlucky. I opened more than 50 crates and still not a single Staff :(
