This has been confirmed to be from RAF by a 超级强力党的老友 in 6.1.

~~This is currently a groud only mount.~~

In an earlier beta build, this was changed from Pygmy Cow (RAF) to Unused, then in another build, it was again changed, this time to Cindermane Charger.

In the Mount Journal on the WoD Beta, this is listed as coming from Recruit-a-Friend, with text that reads "Formed by Ragnaros himself for the daughter he never had."

~~Possibly will have the red heartsteed model, seeing as that model is sort of fiery and it could be considered a pony,~~ so maybe Ragnaros thought his future daughter would like a fire pony.

Sept. 26th beta build added the likely model for this mount into the files, it has a similar base shape to the hearthsteed mount, and its unused red variant, but this one is much more fire and lava themed, and looks pretty cool imo.

~~This one has no wings like the hearthsteed either.~~ The datamined model does apparently have wings, but the mount spell only shows it as a ground mount on wowhead, however it could still be a work in progress.

This has disappeared from the Mount Journal recently, doubt that it was removed, just likely hidden until they decide to release it.

Not sure if this is RaF or not, I'm really hoping it is.

Am I the only one who is entirely underwhelmed by this ? I mean, I have two of the RAF mounts because they were special and different. The x-23 rocket was my first two-person mount, and then I just HAD to get the Obsidian Nightwing since it actually turned you into a mount.

But this. This is pretty, but it's not really special.

Make it the one mount that can fly in WoD, and I'll want one. Otherwise, it's no better than the ugly zebra.

I rarely comment on stuff like this but it IS a lot of real world cash so worth saying this mount is small. Like... small small. My pandaren feels like a fat kid whose a bit too old to be riding one of those rides outside a supermarket but is still giving it a go.

Does anyone know what the sound file path for this mount would be? I enjoy my fire horse very much-- but the summoning sound is a bit like nails on a chalkboard to me. I've found these: http://www.wowhead.com/sounds/name:lavahorse but I don't know the file path for them. Everything I've tried so far hasn't worked and it's not part of the "Mute Annoying Sounds" addon either.

Blizzard's Recruit-A-Friend Program gives you multiple reward choices! You can only pick one reward per account recruited. The reward is made available in-game through the social tab on the chat window to the recruiting or "veteran" account after the new recruited account has paid for two months of game subscription time. A pop-up message lets you know if you have a new reward ready to choose.

Mount Reward Options:
迅捷斑马 teaches 迅捷斑马 - The original RAF mount, ground-only. Grants the achievement 强力党老友.
X-53型观光火箭 teaches X-53型观光火箭 - The second RAF mount, a 2-seater rocket. Gives the achievement 更加强力党的老友.
夜翼之心 teaches 黑曜夜之翼 - The third RAF mount, which transforms the owner into a winged black catlike mount that can carry a passenger on your back. Grants the achievement 依然强力党的老友.
翡翠角鹰兽 teaches 翡翠角鹰兽 - A lovely green and orange hippogryph mount. Gives the achievement 倍加强力党的老友.
烬鬃战马 teaches 烬鬃战马 - A blackened winged horse covered in bright orange flames. Grants the achievement 超级强力党的老友.

And pets, originally available only as limited-time rewards on the Chinese & Taiwan servers:
金猪硬币 teaches 金猪.
银猪硬币 teaches 银猪.
teaches 紫袍玉虎.
魔化碧玉 teaches 碧玉虎.

I have all of the mounts from RAFing a second account several times. If you're debating which reward to choose, I'd recommend either of the two-seater mounts: X-53型观光火箭 or 黑曜夜之翼. The ability to carry a passenger is perfect for your RAF adventures!

Since the last update to RAF was the addition of the Cindermane Charger in early 2015, it seems that we might be due for a new RAF promotion sometime soon.

This mount and all old rewards are now no more available since 8.2.5 patch.

Here the answer of the GM which confirmed that:

Hello Helgyrh,

I am the Game Master Broldnir, and thank you for taking the time to contact us.

The new sponsorship system that we deployed a few weeks ago proposes a new system of rewards, and thus no longer gives access to mounts and mascots of the old system. The only way to get them was to have a referral link on the old system as long as it was active, and these rewards are no longer available at this time.

We have no information on their possible reintroduction in the future, but this is relatively unlikely.

I hope that this information will still have clarified the situation and I wish you a good end of the day despite everything.
