This is a good chestpiece for warriors dropped by Tuten'kash (must summon him by hitting gong 3 times). Could probably use this from level 40 to 48 (I kept it until 50)

Boy, this armor doesn't cover very much on female characters. I wonder why there are no screens of male characters wearing this? Not that I'm complaining...

Brilliant chestpiece, but you could use it till 50 where you change to Carapace of Anub'shiah. Drop rate seemed low for me, but I got it eventually. 4 times outta 6 I got Silky Spider Cape, and once I got the gloves before I finally got the chestpiece. This is spiecialized for tanks, and even dps warriors/paladins.

A great Warrior chest piece. Good balance of valuable stats.

Easy to farm too. It's about 15 min's from the entrance to the boss and the encounter is very easy. We farmed it for our Warrior friend and got it on the second attempt. Can't see this easily replaced until high 40's.

Good chest armor for Paladin and Warrior.
Had to do like six runs to get it, luckily he is not that deep in Razorfen downs.

This is really nice for a warrior or paladin, but it really doesn't have that much armor for its level.

As said before, recieved by killing Tuten'kash in the world dungeon Razorfen Downs. I agree with the other comments in saying that it is a good warrior chestpiece expecially when just going into plate at 40. The strenght helps your damage output, while the agility gives warriors a bit extra armor maybe to push them over the edge while the stamina helps us live a little longer with some extra health.

Chromite Chestplate is a nice substitute for paladins. Easier to get, cheaper on AH and has more armor. Doesn't look that good on females though :D

I've been to RFD with a group like four times and he always dropped that stupid cape, which I won the first time I've been there. Yesterday, I tried to solo Tuten'kash as a fresh level 42 protection paladin. It was hard as hell. I died twice and depleted all my potions and stone statues. It would be easier if I'd have my 42 abilities learned and got more potions, but whatever...

I entered the instance and got all the way to Tuten'kash by myself. Soloing him was a piece of cake, getting to him was the hard part. And he actually dropped the Carapace, so it was all worth it. And fun, too :)

This piece is effectively meant to be used by a level 37 but can't be used until 40 because of the inability to use plate, so this item isn't really that great, not bad at all but it would certainly be better if you could use it when you are "supposed to".

I have been wearing this since level 40 (trying to level a pally in time for wrath) - I have noticed that item level 40 green plate drops have significantly more armor than this - has there been some sort of screw up here with this chest piece?

It's one thing to have armor with some cleavage, but it's completely ridiculous running around in a tin bra that's supposedly protecting your character. How, by distracting the mobs from your exposed vital organs?

He was pointing out that it is basically the same item, with a similar name and stats. It just happens to be from a later dungeon.

Just saying, it isn't a better version, just a later version. For example, this weapon has more damage than the Cruel Barb, but that's because it is for higher levels, but it's nowhere as good as the barb for someone of the required level. It's not important though, I just thought I'd explain why I said what I did.

Great chest piece that my pally used up until level 61 when i replaced it with the protectorate breastplate i would definitely recommend this for paladins and warriors at lvl 40 or up

Can anyone confirm if this still drops? The drop rate makes it look like it's about 33% off Tuten'kash. but I've run it 12 times now, and no drop. Maybe just my bad luck - but it seems like it should have dropped by now.

I can confirm, it still drops. But I was on my 18th run, so the 32% drop rate might be misleading.

This plate chest seems to have a lower drop rate than what is displayed here. I've farmed Tuten'kash over 20 times now and I still haven't gotten the damn chest piece. Loost like I'll have to resort to buying the tyrant's chestplate for a ridiculous price at the AH...
