Hmmm, I don't know... but just reading the details right now, this glyph seems to have more downside than upside. When dealing against a bunch mobs, as a fury warrior we would often spam

while allowing our auto attacks to build up rage to keep using it. This means players won't get the full 15 rage when we keep following up a whirlwind with another whirlwind. I don't know how it would effect arms warriors much, but considering My auto attacks tend to generate me plenty of rage, I would imagine this glyph would just be a hinderance where it currently stands.

Although this glyph is currently very detrimental to AoE damage in normal situations, where you'll generate far more rage from using auto attacks in the 6 seconds, it could be a good glyph for people trying to kite mobs as fury/arms, especially when whirlwind is glyphed to a 12 yard range and piercing howl is used. In this situation no rage can be generated at all from auto attacks anyway, so the extra rage generated from this glyph could be very useful.

The utility of the glyph depends on Whirlwind's 15 rage/6 sec stacking with other whirls. If it doesn't, glyph is most probably just for trash mob clearing. Otherwise, viable to fill empty GCDs while still gaining rage; especially in AoE heavy fights like Tortos/Council of Elders/Shek'zeer.

A little known fact about this glyph is that whirlwind will actually proc the rage generation buff even if your whirlwind does not hit any targets. In addition, the buff actually stacks up to 2 times making it a whopping 30rage/6 seconds!
As arms you can take advantage of this by using whirlwind each time just as the buff is about to expire and have a net gain of rage, even when out of combat.
Keep in mind you will need to use both berserker rage and a 20 rage shout to get the two stack rolling when out of combat if you are starting with no rage. And to maximize rage generation, the buff should only be refreshed by whirlwinding at the very last second.
Fury is not so lucky on this one as their whirlwind costs 30 rage whereas it costs 15 rage for arms :(
The applications of this are massive for both pvp and pve arms warriors:
Generating max rage while out of combat before any pve or pvp fight
Generating extra rage in a downphase in a pve fight where there is nothing to hit for at least 6 seconds
Generating extra rage when running from enemies in pvp with nothing to hit

This glyph can be used to build up Rage in the preparation phase (AKA the start) of a Battleground or Rated Battleground. This cannot be done in arenas, as you will lose all acquired rage as soon as the match begins, unlike BGs/RBGs.

For Arms warriors it's a very good glyph as it's A) a minor glyph so no loss for really needed ones and B) because as an arms warrior in arena you pretty much wanna sit in Defensive stance 90% of the time, so being able to gain 15 rage over 6 seconds (from refreshing on wards) is AMAZING, if you use it right and reapplying before stuns (takes timing) so it doesn't drop off whilst you cannot refresh it, it really is an amazing glyph, being able to have a constant rage gain whilst in D-stance means much more bursting with out the risk of being caught in battle stance and getting global'd, for any arms warrior not running with this glyph, you sir are a fool.

I've been using this glyph a lot for old raid soloing. Since mobs die to a single autoattack most of the time, you can just walk around whirlwinding and get rage from charges, berserker rage, shouts and this glyph.

Conisdering Whirlwind now costs 20 rage per use, and the glyph only generates 20 rage over 6 seconds from one use, your going to actually spend more rage than you will generate with this glyph. If I am mistaken, please comment below.
