Neat, kind of like the Last Relic of Argus.
I'm having trouble thinking of where it would take us though. The four Great Trees that are the portals to the Emerald Dream, maybe? They're in Ashenvale, Feralas, Hinterlands, and Duskwood.
Right now this spell doesn't have a cd. There are 9 spots you can end up in.
Ashenvale ......... 26 14
Blasted Lands ... 35 72
Darkshore ......... 45 76
Jade Forest ....... 40 55
Krasarang Wilds 19 33
Moonglade ........ 58 76
Sholazar Basin .. 38 28
Valley of the Four Winds 19 33
Tirisfal Glades ... 17 67
I made a map
Very similar to what Scroll of Recall does once you're above level 40/70/80 except it has a few more locations possible than the scroll does. Nice to have this as a spell.
I can't wait to learn this at level 25 and then find myself in Krasarang Wilds. That'll be AWESOME.
(Yeah, yeah, I'm sure there will be preventative coding in place to avoid that kind of thing. Fun thought anyhow.)
This spell can be cast
for a quick and easy getaway. I'm thinking that will get patched, though, so enjoy it while it lasts!
I wonder why Nagrand isn't in the list. Outland is the only continent not represented here. Another oddity is that it's entirely possible to teleport to right where you are. Had it happen to me four times in a row.
I've been casting it over and over on a level 50. I've only been teleported to places I could survive.
I don't know if this is useful to anyone or not, but if you've cast Teleport: Moonglade from, say Timeless Isle, and then hearthed away without using the Moonglade spell again, you will still have a saved return to Timeless Isle. So if you use the One With Nature spell to get back to Moonglade, you can the use Teleport: Moonglade to get back to Timeless Isle, even ages later.
The spell granted by this glyph:
This spell is found on the
tab of your spellbook....don't be dumb like me and look within your spec's tab, as it is not spec-specific.
A useful tip: this DOES kick you from battlegrounds when you use it and i assume it does the same for dungeons and raids.
This spell is a love and hate relationship. Great when you get sent to where you want to go right away and hate it when it takes like 10 tries. Poor man's mage port but can still get you around quick enough. I am surprised to see there isn't one that goes to
Something interesting I found - even if you have never visited Pandaria, this spell allows you to go! I'm level 85 and when I used this glyph, I found myself in the Jade Forest. This was a nice surprise and it could potentially be very helpful.
I have learned this on my lvl26 druid and it only teleported me to moonglade-ashenvale-darkshore after 40 tries or so. So it is safe to say that the places that you can be teleported are limited to the ones in your level range.
This spell is able to be cast while in the air in flightform, I discovered today.
As a druid just starting Archaeology, I find this glyph immensely helpful for getting near dig sites quickly and easily.
Anyone think it's curious how you can be teleported to the dead center of the Faerie Circle in The Whispering Forest? And considering that this ability can only be used by Druids, and that druids & fey dragons both have close affinities with the Emerald Dream/nightmare, it suggests that only people and creatures with such affinities are drawn to The Whispering Forest, which, in a way, suggests a connection between the forest and whatever lies under it, and The Emerald Dream.
