This trinket is awarded to frost and unholy Death Knights when you use the Level 90 boost on your character. It is not automatically equipped, and must be picked up from a mailbox after you use the boost.

You also get the rest of the Heart-Lesion item set by using the boost.

There is no way to obtain these without using a boost.

Anyone know what the proc chance is on this one?

I've actually never even noticed it trigger so far O.o

Sorry it has taken this long to update my question, been away for a bit :P

On a side note, Ardinur you are actually only half right, the trinket is not only rewarded to DKs, in fact my previous question here was based off of my cha having been rewarded this trinket for her level 90 boost as a Retri Pala and I imagine it could be the same for any DPS spec warrior ;0)

Anyway, to answer my own question, paying specifically attention to the proc of the trinket, I've now come to realize that it actually triggers more often than I first thought, not sure why I didn't notice it >.<

One of the stranger discoveries I have made, having looked into the whole mastery thing, is that for some strange reason the level 90 boost reward gear has a allot of mastery on it, but almost all the gear I've gotten from "Lost time" (Time Lost) isle that should have been specifically designed for a retri pala, have had haste rating, which is very surprising as haste for a Retri only have influence on the frequency of their auto-attack, where as mastery will (in my current gear) add a 37.6% damage bonus to all of my 5 primary attacks and in my case auto-attack only makes up for about 1-3% of total damage dealt in a fight and with the trinket (as I have now experienced) triggering in almost every fight, it leaves it a complete puzzle to me as to why Blizz would even add haste rating to Retri gear, am I missing something here? Ô,õ
