For those who are just as confused as I was about the difference between the Vicious Gladiator gear bought with Conquest points and the Vicious Gladiator Gear that requires 2200 rating since their stats are exactly the same, the difference is almost always simply visual.

(The weapons ARE upgrades, you'll notice you have to pay additional Conquest points to upgrade your weapon)

But there is no stat difference for the gear.

With 4.2 came the updated Blacksmithing recipes for an 8 piece PVP starter set. The "Bloodthirsty" set has a 2 piece set bonus giving 400 resilience. I can confirm that this set bonus currently does not stack with the Vicious Gladiator's 2 piece set bonus giving 400 resilience.

Blizzard have trashed this 365 item set and replaced it with a 371 item set.

Everything is the same but with more boosted stats and can be bought with the same currency as before.

This set has been made available again in Patch 5.0.4. You can purchase the five main pieces, as well as the matching belt/boots/bracers, from both Blazik Fireclaw in Dalaran sewers and Vixton Pinchwhistle in Gadgetzan, using Honor Points.

This set is actually still available for players in the sewers of Dalaran sold by the pvp vendor
