Venthyr Mistweaver Monk Covenant Abilities
Venthyr Monk Class Ability:

The Venthyr Class Ability for Monks of all specializations is
陨落僧众
: a 3 minute cooldown that will summon a number of monk adepts that are each aligned to one of the 3 monk specs. As a Mistweaver, you will have 4 healing monks that will cast

. This is a large throughput cooldown that is very passive. You will essentially hit this ability, then watch the monk AI take over and heal various injured targets.
Healing output makes this a very strong cooldown. It also includes a damage competent with the other monk types casting damaging abilities. This makes this a very strong cooldown in pretty much any type of content.
The Venthyr specific Potency conduit it

. This is an easy go to as it flat increases the healing of

by a sizable amount. Grab it, add it, forget about it.
Venthyr Monk Signature Ability:

This is a mobility cooldown and it is very situational in terms of power. Mistweaver is already an extremely mobile healer, so moving quickly from place to place is not something we struggle with. The ability also has a cast time which will limit its usefulness in combat. You may be able to use this to skip packs in Mythic+ or positionally setup for certain encounters. However, you are at the mercy of WoW’s pathing, which is suspect at best, even when you have full line of sight of your target location.

Mistweaver Monk Talents
Venthyr Mistweaver Monk Soulbinds
Across all classes and specs, Venthyr have access to the same three soulbinds:
Nadjia the Mistblade
,
Theotar the Mad Duke
and
General Draven
. They are the NPCs with whom you complete the zone story, and they allow you to "attune" yourself to them to gain access to a tree of upgrades centered around your base toolkit (through Conduits) and Covenant abilities (through special game-wide traits).
These trees progressively unlock based on completion steps (such as finishing the campaign) and your Renown level with the Venthyr covenant.
I have summarized the Soulbinds below, offering example path’s through the trees, and highlighting any key abilities.
Nadjia has a few key traits you will want to look out for:

provides a passive haste bonus through the stacks of Thrill Seeker. This will stack much quicker in Mythic+ and therefore have higher uptime, but even in raids this is a passive ~3% haste increase on average.

into an AoE interrupt and disorient. This will be potentially strong in Mythic+ as we can add some additional utility and mob control to our groups.
Beyond the initial ability and the one utility Soulbind ability, the remainder of the tree is very lackluster in terms of output. As a healer, we cannot really make use of some of the later abilities, and the one increase to our throughput is trapped behind an Endurance conduit.
An example tree to follow on this soulbind is as follows:
For early Castle Nathria, you will end up having access to a Potency Conduit and the Haste buff from

. The Potency conduit is key as you can slot in

. Other than that, I would avoid this soulbind in particular.
Theotar has a few strong abilities in his tree:

offers a great Mastery increase if you can stay within the area. It does provide its bonus in rating so it is subject to diminishing returns.

which is a nice bonus whenever you cast

. This buff lasts for 10 seconds. It will also provide your allies with a Versatility buff, which is never bad thing.
With Theotar, you are really only looking at the start and end of his tree. The middle abilities don’t offer much in terms of what would be useful for a monk, as they are modifying a mobility cooldown. Monks have mobility in droves in their baseline kit. The opening and end tier abilities are very strong, which make Theotar a very high performer in terms of the impact on your healing.
Draven has some interesting abilities:

has two key items. When below 40% health, you take 10% less damage which is great in terms of potentially saving you. Also, if you are to die, after 3 second your body explodes dealing 100% of your maximum health in healing, split between nearby allies.

provides a shield after you cast

which may allow you to line up for certain abilities. However, because of the cast time on
暗影之门
you may want to just heal yourself up in that time.

provides a 4% Intellect buff if you can keep your health above 50%. This may be difficult on progression, but would provide a nice bonus if you can keep your health high during an encounter.
Draven has a strong tree top to bottom in terms of progression oriented abilities. There are some defensive benefits, along with the Intellect buff at the end tier. All in all, Draven is a solid soulbind choice.
One issue with this path is that we do have to take 2 Finesse conduits to flesh it fully out. This does hinder us slightly but we are able to take at least on Potency so we can slot in

Best Venthyr Mistweaver Monk Early and Late Soulbind
Early on in Castle Nathria, Theotar the Mad Duke will be your go to soulbind.

is just too strong early on to pass up. As you get later in progress, and you start to have access to top tier Soulbind abilities, General Draven may pass ahead. To start though, stick with Theotar for at least the first few weeks of mythic progression or the early Mythic+ season. As you progress further into Renown, Draven will be who you swap to, giving access to two potency conduit slots. For more details, take a look at the two paths below.
Venthyr Mistweaver Monk Covenant Rotation Changes
Your rotation isn’t altered by
陨落僧众
at all. You will basically use this ability as a throughput cooldown when there is raid or large group damage going out. It will not replace other abilities, but something you can slot into your overall cooldowns and use as needed.

Your talent build will not change with using Venthyr. There is no additional interaction with our spells, abilities, or talents, so no need to change your talents when using Venthyr.

Continuing our gearing from previous expansions, Mistweaver Monks will generally want to focus on item level over all.
