What is Mythic+?
Mythic+ is a special type of dungeon mode in Dragonflight, offering players an endlessly-scaling challenge. High-end PvE players will want to clear a Mythic 20 dungeon weekly to receive the best possible loot from the Great Vault, awarding ilvl 483 gear. Individual runs reward the group with loot, based on the difficulty ran, up to item level 470.

Dealing with Weekly Affixes as a Survival Hunter
Survival Hunters have many different tools to deal with Dungeon affixes and to help their group with them. You can check a couple of highlights below.
Your natural mobility should be more than enough to break the affix before it stuns you. Using
逃脱
with
迅疾如风
will immediatly clear the affix.
If a party member is struggling, or you think you might need
逃脱
for some other mechanic coming up, you can use
主人的召唤
on yourself or allies to clear the affix instead.
This is one of the few moments in PVE where talenting into
恐吓野兽
is extremely useful This ability has no cooldown, and is great at locking down these mobs, the 30 yards range is very useful when the incorporeal adds spawn a little out of the way.
Additionally, we have several other abilities that can be used to stop their

Try not to CC a target while they're in the pool as they'll likely heal to full unless you can break the CC quickly. With the new shortened length of Sanguine, typically it won't be a huge problem but you can talent into

if you foresee you/your group needing to knock mobs out of the Sanguine.
If a mob is stuck in a Sanguine pool channeling a long spell, and you dont have
压制
available to interrupt it,
冰冻陷阱
or
驱散射击
can still work well to stop the cast to get them out sooner. Channeled spells, and even some ordinary spells typically go on a cooldown when stopped in any way.

can prevent the application of Bursting, if you use it before the mobs die and the DoT is applied. If you use

after any stacks are applied, it will still stop all of the damage, but it won't remove existing stacks in the event you decide to cancel your
灵龟守护
.
Some healer specs such as Holy Paladin, Discipline Priest and Mistweaver Monk are less effective at healing when there are no more enemies to hit. keeping this in mind when you trigger a large amount of stacks is especially helpful if you have just finished off the last bunch of mobs. Be ready to use

or

if needed!
Be mindful of hitting targets that are low health and would result in extending an existing Bursting DoT, we have a fair amount of impact in which targets die first given our high priority damage in our AoE rotation.
Generally speaking, you either want to stagger the dot applications so they have time to drop off, or kill all the mobs simultaneously, so a medium stacked Bursting does not extend into a high stacked Bursting.
While we always recommend to talent into
宁神射击
for keys, it's especially useful during Raging weeks. Pick your targets carefully,
宁神射击
has a long cooldown and can typically only be used once or twice per pack to dispel
激怒
.
Since
激怒
does not provide immunity to
压制
, using alternative methods to stop casts such as
冰冻陷阱
or
胁迫
can help you save
压制
for a mob that has
激怒
that you are unable to dispel.
When mobs in a pack start to die, it is a good idea to throw a
焦油陷阱
at your feet to ensure the Spiteful ghosts are snared.

does allow you to damage the ghosts or other mobs outside of their attack range, as well. effectively dancing around the spiteful shades with them unable to hit you.
Whilst not specifically recommended, if you happen to have
高爆陷阱
talented, you can use it to knock shades far away, This can be risky however, try to avoid scattering the dungeon mobs around.

generally keeps us within melee distance even when we get flung around by Storming.
If you're being flung around,
逃脱
lets us move or jump out of harms way when we're targeted by a dangerous mechanic.

usually keeps us safe from the relatively small damage that storming deals. Considering we're generally not affected that much by the small knockbacks you can intentionally take Storming tornados to keep your other melee or melee-healers safe.
Despite our fairly impressive mob-control kit, we currently do not possess any means of helping out with the Afflicted affix.

Survival Hunter is once again in a very fortunate spot when it come to Mythic+, especially when you have access to our new tier set bonus

: Group Haste
An always appreciated group buff,

especially shines in a smaller composition where each role counts. In most pugs you can get away with using this on the 1st boss, and each boss the spell has cooldowned for. In more organized groups, you may find yourself being asked to use it on specific, threatening trash or particularly large pulls.
Note: This does require a Ferocity pet.
Crowd Control
The Hunter class has a lot of options when it comes to crowd control. Between

(for a specific Affix), or

, you have a lot of options to talent into to handle a lot of situations in keys. The only thing we're really lacking is an easy to use AoE stun, but hey, you can't have it all.

can be a bit rotationally intrusive in trash pulls, the damage buff is definitely appreciated on bosses or even dangerous mobs. You can use this on targets out of combat without pulling aggro, so

can be used on noteworthy trash or bosses while you're moving between pulls.

: Purge and Soothe
Many mobs in this next season have either abilities that buff themselves or their allies with a magical ability or even an ability that Enrages them. It's very handy to have a low cooldown purge and soothe combination. For example,

is a very lethal ability in Brackenhide that can be immediately stopped with this ability. Not only that, this ability really puts in work during
暴怒
weeks.

: Helping out the Tank

is a very comfortable ability to have in M+. As a Survival Hunter you generate almost all of your own threat and with on your pull burst capable of being high with

, your tank will surely appreciate the extra threat. Not only that, other DPS in your group (especially our Evoker friends!) will appreciate the tank having even more threat on pull.

: Flexibility
While this is mostly selfish utility,

and the extra range it gives you actually helps out both your tank and any other melee in your group. With this extra room you can spread further, maintain uptime while you avoid deadly mechanics, and give your companions more room to navigate as well without having to worry about your positioning as much.

"Survival Hunter Mythic+ Dungeon Tips" has 3 cross spec hunter tips (just soothes, and it doesn't even cover all the soothes like the other 2 specs) and 0 survival hunter tips :/

Wow there's a lot missing from this!
In Spires of Ascension, you can use tranq shot to purge the Imbue Weapon that Forsworn Menders buff themselves with, this tosses the buff on the ground where you can walk over it to pick it up and deal massive damage. As it is a melee attack buff this is something that's only useful to survival. Be warned you may rip aggro from the tank, so make sure to misdirect beforehand. You can also use Aspect of the Turtle to absorb the anima orbs on the 3rd boss.
In Mists of Tirna Scithe it's a common tactic to 'pet pull' an extra pack through the mist. This is when you send your pet through the mist, typically by kill commanding and then calling them back by pressing follow. It's often used in mythic+ to ensure percent is correct for Prideful on the 2nd boss, just make sure to ask your tank beforehand. Also in Mists, you'll often find yourself unable to melee due to Trample casts which would kill you if you tried. Don't be afraid to use Aspect of the Eagle so you don't lose out on dps.
In Necrotic Wake, before using ANY of the damaging items, make sure to misdirect your tank. You'll get to live and your tank won't rage quit, win-win. Also there are several skips often utilized here, be a smart hunter and dismiss pets beforehand. Also a much more niche strategy is pet taunting the big abominations in the 3rd boss room. Make sure to only do this if you can see your tank actively trying to run away from a Tenderize cast. If it's a fortified week, it will most likely die, but better your pet which can be rezzed in combat, than your tank.
In De Other Side, the Big Red Mask guys who hit like a truck, save Exhilaration for them, your healer will thank you. Also there are a lot of things you can purge in here with tranq shot, notably: in the Hakkar section you can purge the ghosts that pop up after the Deathwalker's die, in the Mechagon section you can purge Spinning Up! off the robots, and in the Ardenweald section you can purge the Bark Armor the spriggans cast on themselves.
In Plaguefall, you should Freezing Trap the big add on the 1st boss to keep it from being absorbed, as well as the damage reduction slimes on the 2nd boss so you can ignore them and continue dpsing the boss. On the tentacles before the 2nd boss, pay attention to when they start casting their crushing embrace, and stun them immediately, as this is usually when the bombs are exploding too and if it grabs you or a teammate, it will be death. On the third boss, you can use Freezing Trap and Tar Trap to break the spider adds out of their stealth, saving the group from having to move to them, just make sure to aim for the center of the web. On the last boss, you can stay relatively still, unlike most melee, due to Aspect of the Eagle letting you damage the adds that spawn in the down phases, without having to move, thereby making sure you don't get hit by any tentacles.
In Halls of Atonement, make sure to save Aspect of the Eagle for the Shards of Halkias, their Thrash cast has a range of about 30yds so it can be outranged, your healer will praise you heavily. Also make sure to stun Loyal Beast casts, and avoid both the Deadly Thrusts of the Darkblades, as well as the Rapid Fire of the Houndmasters. Both are conal attacks, and easily avoidable as long as your tank isn't running in circles. If a Loyal Beast cast does get off, you can soothe the enraged Gargons with tranq shot, they are also vulnerable to Scare Beast, though I wouldn't recommend it as you could accidentally pull another pack.
In Theater of Pain, you can use pet taunts if your tank is in danger of dying to the challengers in the hallways. You can also misdirect and pull the majority of the opening hallway in the Kul'tharok section so your tank doesn't have to risk life and limb, though make sure to check with them beforehand. Feign Death has a number of uses in here, in the Kul'tharok boss fight (the lich) you can use it when she is casting Draw Soul on you, to end the channel early and force your soul out, though only do this if you gain from it somehow (such as catching the last few seconds of a cooldown window or prideful), and be sure to stand in the hands that sprout up, so you dont have to chase after your soul. On the last boss when she is drawing you towards her glowing green portal of mega-death, Feign Death will stop the suction, allowing you to move normally.
In Sanguine Depths, you can use Aspect of the Turtle to absorb the orbs on the first boss, or conversely to negate his charge if it lands on you. On the second boss, Castigate casts can be negated via Feign Death, also make sure to misdirect your tank when the add spawns as they hit hard. Aspect of the Eagle can be used on the third boss to continue dps as you grab orbs or to avoid the swirls. Make sure to have Turtle here as well, as sometimes others grab the orbs nearest to you.
As far as the dungeons go I'm likely forgetting some things that I do automatically throughout a key, but this is a big post as it is. As a final note I'll say that its helpful to think of Freezing Trap as a quick stun when it isn't being used prepull, it can really smooth out a run, if you can consistently use it to stun casters out of casting.

In the Mythic+ Tips section, Lower Tazavesh, you replicated some Zogron lines into So'Azmi one.
Boss: So'azmi
Aspect of the Turtle can be used to negate Shuri.
Make sure you are behind Zo'gron when they use Crowd Control. If for whatever reason you find yourself in front of the boss before the effect ends, Aspect of the Turtle can protect you.
