This guide provides tips and strategies for defeating the Queen's Court encounter in Normal Difficulty in Azshara's Eternal Palace. Changes to the fight for the other difficulties are listed below in their respective sections, including tips and strategies for dealing with the new mechanics introduced in these difficulties.
The Queen's Court is a single phase encounter in which the raid must deal with two bosses simultaneously. Throughout the fight,

will enact various decrees that the raid must follow, otherwise they will suffer dire consequences...
The Queen's Court is the sixth boss of Azshara's Eternal Palace. After defeating the Queen's Court, players may proceed to the
Za'qul
encounter.

Abilities & Strategy
孤注一掷
The two bosses,
炽情者希里瓦兹
and
狂热者帕什玛
, have seperate health pool and need to die at roughly the same time.
As soon as one of the bosses reaches 1 hp, it will begin to cast
孤注一掷
. This 15 second cast will heal the caster to 30% of its maximum health.
The cast is only interrupted when the other boss also reaches 1 hp, at which point both bosses will die and the fight will be complete.

The two bosses cannot be positioned on top of each other, due to their
权力制衡
auras which reduce the damage they take by 99% whilst within 21 yards of each other.

should be positioned at the edge of the encounter space, roughly where she is at the beginning of the fight.

should be positioned in the direct centre of the encounter space, at least 22 yards away from Pashmar.
The reason behind this positioning will be made clear in later sections of the guide.
Keep the bosses at least 21 yards apart!
As the bosses cannot be stacked up and cleaved down, and taking into account they have separate health pools, the raid will want to damage the bosses evenly throughout the fight.
Melee players should generally attack
炽情者希里瓦兹
, as some abilities Pashmar casts force players to move away from her.
To balance this out, ranged players should generally be focusing damage onto Pashmar.
Multi-dot classes are incredibly strong for this encounter. If your raid team is struggling to defeat the bosses in a timely manner, you may want to grab some Shadow Priests, Balance Druids, Warlocks or Elemental Shamans.

Each consecutive melee attack against the same target will give
炽情者希里瓦兹
an 8% attack speed buff which stacks.
This will lead to the tank receiving ever increasing incoming damage.
This buff should not dictate when you should tank swap, instead the
帕什玛之触
stacks should dictate the point in which tanks should swap.
狂热冲锋
This boss will mark a random non-tank player for 6 seconds with
狂热冲锋
.
After this time he will charge at them, dealing a large burst of frost damage split between all players within 8 yards. This also knocks back all players hit.
This also leaves behind a
力量决裂
pool at the marked players location. This pool deals heavy ticking damage to anyone who stands within it.
The initial damage of the ability is high enough that a single player is unlikely to survive without large damage reductions, immunities or heavy shielding.
To counter this, several players should help split the damage of the charge as to bring the damage down to survivable levels.
Stack up with the player marked with
狂热冲锋
to split the damage!
To keep the encounter space clean, the marked player should move towards the edges of the encounter space, as to place the
力量决裂
pool out of harms way.
The player should ensure that they do not move towards Pashmar, as this will trigger the
权力制衡
damage reduction which is sure to annoy all of the DPS.
Place the
力量决裂
pools around the edges of the encounter space.

The boss passively gains energy over time. Upon reaching 100% energy, he will cast
狂热爆发
.
This deals heavy ticking damage to the raid over 10 seconds, but all players near
炽情者希里瓦兹
will avoid all of this damage.
This "safe zone" is clearly indicated by a large bubble around the boss. If you're within the bubble, you aren't taking any damage.
All players should stand within the safe zone as to avoid the damage, apart from the other tank, as they will want to keep Pashmar away to avoid triggering the damage reduction.
This tank will need to receive focused healing from the healers over these 10 seconds.
Stay within the

Pashmar will apply occasionally apply a stack of
帕什玛之触
to her tank.
This debuff doesn't actually do anything until it reaches 10 stacks, at which point the target will be mind controlled via
疯狂热诚
.
To avoid this mind control, the tanks should taunt off of one another before they reach 10 stacks.
By the time the first tanks stacks have dropped, the second tank usually has 5-8 stacks.
When taunting, keep the bosses in their assigned positions, as this will prevent the
权力制衡
from triggering.

Pashmar will apply
狂热裁决
debuffs to random non-tank players.
This debuff causes the player to deal high nature damage to all players within 6 yards when it expires.
Players afflicted with
狂热裁决
should move away from their allies as to reduce incoming raid damage.

Approximately every 90 seconds, Pashmar will summon three
强能火花
orbs.
These attackable orbs will slowly lose their health over time, and upon death will deal a large burst of damage to the entire raid.
The raid needs to offset the times in which these explosions occur, by nuking down a single orb straight away, lightly damaging the next orb and then completely leaving the last orb alone.
This will ensure that the explosions are staggered, allowing healers to heal the raid back up between each one.
The raid leader should mark a single orb for players to kill, as to prevent multiple orbs being focused down at the same time.
Kill off the
强能火花
s in a staggered way.

Pashmar gains energy passively over time. Upon reaching 100 energy, she will cast

.
This deals a large burst of damage to all players within the targeting circle around her, however this damage is reduced the further away players are from it.
This is the main reason why Pashmar should be tanked at the edge of the encounter space, as this gives players more space to move away from her.
All players should attempt to move out of this zone as to avoid taking any damage from this ability at all.

's Decrees
30 seconds into the encounter, and every minute after that point,
艾萨拉女王
will enact a decree. This decree forces players to perform certain actions or play in a certain way, otherwise they are punished.
The decrees are always enacted in the same order, and once all 5 decrees have been enacted, the order will repeat.
On higher difficulties, the decrees are enacted more frequently.
Listed here are the decrees
艾萨拉女王
will use in the order she will use them. Detailed next to the decrees is information on how these abilities must be countered and how they can overlap poorly with other mechanics.
1.
列阵
Several zones will appear in the middle of the encounter space. These zones explode after 5 seconds, dealing high arcane damage to the entire raid.
This damage is reduced significantly if a player stands within a zone.
Each of the zones should have at least 1 player stand within it as to bring the damage to reasonable levels.
After one set of zones have detonated, a new set will appear 5 seconds later. Players will have to deal with a total of 3 sets over 30 seconds.

can occur during this decree.

should be tanked near the zones as to ensure that players can soak them whilst remaining within his safe zone.
Stand within the

zones to reduce incoming raid damage!
2.

Everyone in the raid gains the

debuff lasting 30 seconds, which will silence and pacify any player who uses the same ability twice in a row.
Players should avoid using the same ability twice in a row, as being silenced and pacified severely reduces your output.
Do note that "off global cooldown" abilities such as interrupts can be used to help interrupt a chain of identical abilities.
3.

Everyone in the raid will receive the
出列
debuff lasting 30 seconds. This places a 5 yard zone around the player.
If any other player enters this 5 yard zone, they will receive a minor burst of frost damage.
Players should attempt to spread out as much as possible whilst this debuff is active, as to reduce incoming raid damage.
If players are forced to stand near each other or stack up, such as for the
狂热冲锋
, they should do so for the shortest time possible, as to minimize incoming damage.
狂热爆发
can occur during this decree. Players should spread out evenly within the safe zone as to keep raid damage to a minimum.
In large raid sizes, not all players may be able to enter the safe zone without dealing damage via
出列
. In this situation, the players should opt to take the damage from
出列
over the damage from
狂热爆发
.
Keep 5 yards away from others when
出列
is active.
4.
缓刑
The 30 second long
缓刑
debuff will be applied to all players in the raid.
This debuff gains stacks as the player stands still. When the debuff expires, or when a player moves, they will take a burst of damage for each stack of
缓刑
they had.
Players should move frequently as to keep the incoming raid damage slow and steady, rather than have all players have high stacks and take a large burst of damage all at once.
Keeping stacks below 3-4 should be the goal of all players.
5.

The
服从或受苦
30 second long debuff is applied to all raid members.
This causes all players to gain the
承受折磨
debuff each time they take damage, which makes them immune to healing for 5 seconds.
承受折磨
will not refresh its duration if the player takes damage whilst the
承受折磨
debuff is active.
承受折磨
also cannot occur for around 5 seconds after it has expired, allowing tanks to actually receive healing during this decree.
All players should attempt to minimize the damage they take whilst this decree is active, as they may die within the
承受折磨
healing immunity.

orbs can spawn during this decree. Players should not destroy the orbs if they can, and instead should deal with them after the
服从或受苦
has ended.
Heroic Difficulty
强能火花
When a
强能火花
expires, it applied a 5 second debuff to the raid which increases the damage taken from subsequent
强能火花
explosions by 100%.
This forces the raid to stagger the
强能火花
explosions by at least 5 seconds, as taking a
强能火花
hit whilst afflicted with the debuff may kill several players.
Decrees
Decrees occur every 45 seconds, up from one minute.
This only leaves 15 seconds of downtime between each decree, forcing players to deal with the mechanic more frequently.
This change also changes the ability overlaps that players will need to deal with, making the fight play out very differently from normal difficulty.
That being said, as long as players stick to the decrees commands as often as possible, there isn't all that much of a difficulty change between the two versions.
Mythic Difficulty
Composition and Damage Placement
As this fight consists of two unstackable bosses which don't share a health pool, multidotting or long-range cleave classes are exceptionally good at this encounter.
- The fight has a hard 7.5 minute enrage which is easily reached, even with a raid composition consisting of a few of these classes.
- If your raid is struggling to beat the enrage, we would recommend switching in classes such as Shadow Priests and Warlocks as they perform incredibly well on this fight, even with sub-par gear.
- That being said, if you are able to keep all players alive until the enrage, it is possible to defeat this encounter with little to no multidot/long-range cleave classes.
If you are able to bring Shadow Priests, we would recommend that you focus all damage into Silivaz at the beginning of the encounter as to bring him to 35% health as soon as possible, allowing Twist of Fate to have a 100% uptime.
- Pashmar should still be multi-dotted and cleaved during this time. During
出列
, some melee DPS may have to switch to her early as to ensure they don't splash damage onto other melee players.
- Once Silivaz has reached 35% health, all DPS should focus their damage into Pashmar whilst keeping dots and cleave damage flowing into Silivaz.
- Towards the end of the encounter, the raid may need to rebalance its damage to ensure that both bosses hit the 1 HP mark within 10 seconds of each other.
A large amount of incoming raid damage on this encounter comes in large bursts at set points.
- This makes healers with good raid-wide damage reduction cooldowns perform well on this encounter, specifically Discipline Priests and Holy Paladins.
- Other classes are still viable and do bring useful utility, but if you are able to bring 4 healers with good raid damage reduction cooldowns, we would definitely recommend that you do.

Decrees
Decrees now activate every 30 seconds, down from 45 seconds.
This leaves no downtime between decrees, forcing players to constantly adhere to the decrees commands.
There are 6 zones to soak in each
列阵
wave!
列阵
When
列阵
is activated, there are 6 zones needed to be soaked each wave. There are still only three waves per decree.
- One unsoaked zone will very likely wipe you, as the ability deals heavy raid damage even when all zones are soaked.
-

s should be destroyed in such a way that they do not directly overlap with when the
列阵
zones detonate.
- As to ensure that all zones are soaked, the raid should have all nearby nearby primarily focus on soaking the patches.
- You can also assign players to specific zones, but there are 5 different formations and players may take some time to remember which zone they soak for each formation.
- We found that assigning 1 player per zone whilst telling all other raid members to help out gave us the best chances of soaking all zones successfully.
- We did this via the use of a spreadsheet which you can find a

- The raid should keep its stacks at 3 or below, whilst ensuring that they do not move constantly as this just deals excess damage to you.
- This is done by stutter-stepping, moving for 5-10 yards to reset and then standing still, giving healers time to top you up.
- Players should avoid resetting stacks when
强能火花
s are about to explode, as the combined damage can kill you.
- Instead, resetting 3-5 seconds before a
强能火花
is going to explode will give healers enough time to top you up before the next set of damage comes in.
- The raid should also attempt to stack up when
强能火花
s are active during
缓刑
, as to be within AoE healing spells and cooldowns.

Each decree has an associated flag around the edges of the encounter space. This flag plays no role in the normal or heroic version of the encounter, and was therefore not covered.
On mythic difficulty, the decrees associated flag emits an aura around it, dealing a large amount of damage every second to anyone who remains within it.
Remaining within the aura also amplifies the effects of the decree, either making it last longer or deal more damage.
Players must always move out of the aura as to keep the decrees effects to a minimum.
There is no grace period between the aura appearing and its damaging effects, so players should already be away from the associated flag before the decree activates.
The flags are positioned in such a way that they will activate in a clockwise direction, with the first flag being activated at the back of the encounter space.
The

takes up a large portion of the room.
The aura emitted from the flags takes up a large portion of the encounter space, forcing players to play towards the edges of the room rather than the middle.
Tanks need to take this reduced space into account, as they still need to keep the boss separated by at least 21 yards whilst moving ahead of the incoming auras.
This is done by always positioning Pashmar close to the aura, giving Silivaz space to stand 21 yards away from her whilst not being within range of the next incoming aura.
Additionally, the
列阵
decree zones have been moved towards the edges of the room, rather than in the middle as to allow you to soak them without standing within an aura.
Position the bosses as shown here to ensure that the
影响范围
doesn't hit the tanks when the aura changes.
Ability Overlaps
The majority of progression time spent on this encounter is spent on dealing with certain devastating ability overlaps.
These abilities come in at the same time, every time, making them easy enough to counter once you know what you need to do.
Listed below are some of the ability overlaps, the times they occur, and our recommended strategy when dealing with them.
Finish soaking the
列阵
zones before quickly moving to split the damage of the Frentic Charge!
0:35: During the first wave of
列阵
, a player will be targeted by
狂热冲锋
. The charge will time out 1-3 seconds after the first wave has detonated.
The player marked with
狂热冲锋
should move to the side of the encounter space, close to the
列阵
zones, whilst the rest of the raid soaks the zones.
Once the zones have detonated, as many players as possible should quickly move to that player to help split the damage of the charge.
This particular
狂热冲锋
can easily one shot the player if they do not stand close enough to the group or if the group does not reach them in time.
This is a good time for a player to use an immunity to solo the charge if possible.
It is important that the
狂热冲锋
does not end at the location that one of the
列阵
zones can spawn, as the Mighty Rupture pool left behind will prevent players from soaking safely.
Do note that the
强能火花
s can explode during this time if they are not damaged correctly. Make sure that the first is killed quickly, the second is killed between the second and third
列阵
waves, and the third is left alone.
2:00: During
缓刑
,
强能火花
s will spawn and players will be marked with
狂热裁决
.
The raid should work on nuking down one
强能火花
, whilst dotting up the second. However, they should not kill the first spark until after the
狂热裁决
debuffs have expired and the players have been topped up.
If this is not done, the players are very likely to die unless they use a large defensive cooldown.
Additionally, players should ensure that they drop their
缓刑
stacks in between each
强能火花
explosion.
2:30: During
缓刑
, a player will be targeted by
狂热冲锋
. Shortly after the spell is complete, a
强能火花
will explode.
All available players should help split the damage of this charge as to make it so that no single player will be low enough to be killed by the upcoming
强能火花
explosion.
3:00: Immediately after
缓刑
ends, the
列阵
zones will appear. There is also another Frentic Charge during this time.
The raid should move to the area the
列阵
spawn before the decree activates, as to give everybody a good amount of time to get into the zones.
Shortly after the second wave has completed, a player will be charged. Finish soaking that wave before having everybody move with them to the side to help split the damage.
3:30: Pashmar will cast
猛烈爆发
just as the decree switches to
重复行动
.
Pashmar must be placed as far away from the raid as she can as to give the raid space when the Sphere of Influence changes.
The raid must be ready to move away from the
列阵
zones after the third wave has been soaked as to be clear of the aura when it switches.
Players may also have
狂热裁决
debuffs during this time, make sure you give them some room.
3:50: A
狂热冲锋
will be applied to a player. Just as the spell completes, the
出列
decree will activate.
Players who helped soak the
狂热冲锋
player need to quickly spread out afterwards to avoid dealing damage to one another.
Due to the nature of the bosses spell queues, this charge can also happen 3-6 seconds before the
出列
decree activates, making the overlap easier on some attempts.
4:25:
狂热爆发
is cast during
出列
. Half way through the spell the decree will shift to
缓刑
.
The tank needs to preplace Silivaz in such a way that players will be able to remain in the safe zone around him after the Sphere of Influence aura has shifted.
The raid should give this tank space to move Silivaz, as you want to avoid splashing damage onto each other during
出列
.
The raid should also give space to others as they enter the
狂热爆发
safe zone during
出列
.
5:00:
强能火花
s will spawn just as the
服从或受苦
decree activates. A
狂热冲锋
is also cast around this time.
One spark should be nuked down asap. Around the time it dies, the raid will need to help soak the charge.
Healers should make sure that all players are healthy before the spark expires, as the group will not be able to be healed until after the charge has been soaked.
7:00: Pashmar will cast
猛烈爆发
whilst the decree switches from
出列
to
缓刑
.
This gives the raid little space to stand in to avoid the damage from the outburst, and will likely cause lots of players to have to move a far distance.
This will deal quite significant damage to those players, as the
缓刑
will keep dealing damage to them as they move.
We recommend that players who have to move large distances use personal cooldowns at this time to help bring this damage to survivable levels.

Under "Seperation of Power" you tell us to position the Void Sphere. That seems to be a Typo.

If you google something like "can you solo raid X", people will tell you that fights with council mechanics may not work out so well when soloing. So you might wonder about The Eternal Palace, because there's a council fight.
In a BM hunter spec (ilvl 434) I managed to defeat The Queen's Court, and because all the rest of the bosses are kind of "free", I can confirm that the raid is indeed soloable. I haven't tried Mythic yet, but all the other difficulties you can comfortably farm.
The Queen's Court might take you a few attempts at first, and a little bit of figuring out. As a hunter, you will need to use Feign Death (to make the bosses attack your pet), Mend Pet, defensive CDs, the "Move To" pet ability, Disengage, a health potion and maybe a damage potion.
You will need to damage the bosses when separated (they have a 99% shield when together), but you can also do a little bit damage to them when shielded. Try to even out the damage a little, so that they go to low health at the same time.
When one boss goes down, you want to make sure the other one is separated enough so that it's not shielded, then hit turbo and nuke.

After a strange "bug" in the fight, I was having trouble keeping them separated because one or the other would suddenly ignore my pets and come after me. I went back and tried again and again and I think I figure out what's going on.
The agro table SUCKS.
No other raid boss do I have issues with anywhere else in the game, but this one, even when I use Misdirect, for some reason they just ignore it and it's because of how much DPS I'm doing. I'm now ilvl 427 (I was 418 when I wrote this) and that seems to be the issue. I will update this to reflect that in case you are above or below a certain ilvl.
Not sure what urfurf was smoking when he wrote his comment, but you most definitely do NOT want to use FD to make the bosses attack your pet
. After I thought about it, I think Urfurf is using the original Feign Death, the one that only makes you FD. I'm using the "upgrade" that you get from the hunter's hall that makes you AND your pet FD.
This will NOT keep them separated, therefore you will NOT do any damage to them. They have a buff that reduces the amount of damage done to them by 99% when they're together. FD and any other agro reducing ability will not keep them separate and might reset the encounter.
A few things to note:
1:
Do not use any macros that cause your pet to attack your target upon a button press. I use a macro that sends my pet to attack as soon as I do, but this is a bad thing because you literally want your pet to tank one boss while you tank the other.
This is no longer the case, I modified the rotation to compensate for this issue.
2:
If below 420
: Your pet should be set to passive so it doesn't start attacking a boss you don't want it to when the other goes into the healing phase.
If above 420
: This doesn't seem to make a difference now for some reason.
3:
If below 420
: Do NOT, under any circumstances, send your pet into attack first, it will be nearly impossible to separate the two afterwards, even with misdirect (this will make sense below).
If above 420
: You can send your pet to attack first.
4: I suggest getting a clefthoof. Not only do they have Primal Rage for increased DPS, they seem to hold agro better (even without growl), though I cannot confirm if this is actually a thing. They also have better healing than a spirit beast (c'mon, blizz!).
5: This might be a "duh" moment, but the higher ilvl you are, the more likely you will succeed. I'm ilvl427 and I'm able to skip any of the stupid mechanics aside from their damage reduction bubble (This was true at 418 also).
Here is a very simple MD macro that makes it a one step process:

Now, the strategy, opening phase:
Note - for ease of reading and writing this, I will choose one boss to misdirect and the other to attack, but it makes no difference which order you choose.
Below ilvl 418:
1: Start off by applying Misdirect to your pet, but do not attack. <---this is the MOST crucial part.
2: Run up to Silivaz and let him agro you, do not attack him. Pashmar will soon come to you.
3: Attack Pashmar. At this point, misdirect will apply to Pashmar.
4: Once misdirect has been applied, send your pet in to attack, using any abilities to boost your pet's threat and gain agro, this includes: Kill Command, Bestial Wrath, Call of the Wild, and Bloodshed (this one might not, but it is damage from your pet and you're on a timer of sorts).
5: While your pet has agro, run away from Pashmar while you drag Silivaz with you.
6: Use any and all CD's you need, including Primal Rage if you have that type of pet.
7: Just attack until Pashmar falls to the ground to heal.
Above ilvl 418:
1: Start off by applying Misdirect to your pet, but do not attack. <---this is the MOST crucial part.
2: Run up to Silivaz and stand close, but not enough to agro.
3: Attack Pashmar with Kill Command. At this point, misdirect will apply to Pashmar.
4: Run closer to Silivaz so he agros to you. Attack Pashmar with Kill Command, Bestial Wrath, Call of the Wild, and Bloodshed. Apply an occasional Barbed shot.
5: While your pet has agro, run away from Pashmar while you drag Silivaz with you.
6: Just attack until Pashmar falls to the ground to heal.
Healing phase (this is where things get difficult):
1: When Pashmar is healing herself, turn your attention to Silivaz and tell your pet to attack.
DO NOT USE MISDIRECT ON SILIVAZ.
2: Nuke Silivaz as much as you can until Pashmar is finished healing. Use any abilities that might be off CD.
3: Reapply Misdirect on Pashmar, begin attacking her again and send your pet in to attack, then run away like King Arthur (at 427, I did not reuse Misdirect for the new rotation, strange that MD held through this entire fight when it wouldn't at lower ilvl's)
4: Continue attacking Pashmar like you did in the opening.
At this point, it's literally repeating the healing phase over and over until you get Pashmar and Silivaz's health down enough that you can take out one while the other is still healing, then take out the other. I think I had to go through it two times after the initial opening phase.
