Top Things You Shouldn't Miss While Leveling a Paladin in Classic WoW
Here are just a few things to keep in mind while leveling your
圣骑士

Paladin Leveling Talents in Classic WoW
Below we will outline some common builds for Paladins leveling to 60 in Classic WoW, with links to separate guide pages describing them in greater detail.
Retribution Paladin Leveling in Classic WoW
Retribution is the best spec to level your paladin in Classic WoW. Retribution talents have a lot of synergy with each other, between
,
,
, and
, simply auto attacking will get you through most of your leveling content. Paladins are one of the best support classes and even as Ret they can provide a leveling partner like a Rogue or Warrior with a lot of utility to overcome any sort of world PvP you might encounter while leveling.
Retribution Paladin Leveling Guide
Protection Paladin Leveling in Classic WoW
Protection is the weakest of the three tanking specializations in Classic. While leveling as Protection is viable, it will be slower than as Retribution. Your only real path as Protection is to tank dungeons in a group, which allows you to show off your biggest strength: AoE damage. Protection Paladins bring exceptional AoE damage, but will have severe mana problems which will slow runs down compared to with Warrior tanks. If you wish to level as Protection, be prepared for an uphill battle.
If you find yourself leveling mostly through dungeons and tanking them, Protection might be the right option for you.
Protection Paladin Leveling Guide
Holy Paladin Leveling in Classic WoW
While not efficient for solo leveling, Holy Paladins are one of the strongest healers for dungeons. Holy Paladins bring incredibly powerful buffs, auras, heals, and AoE damage, making them an ideal healer and support for any dungeon group. If you choose to play Holy, you should have no trouble finding groups to dungeon with while leveling.
If you find yourself leveling mostly through dungeons and healing them, Holy might be the right option for you.

Spells to Buy while Leveling as a Paladin in Classic WoW
Usually, you run into the problem of buying spells vs. saving gold for your level 40 mount, but as a Paladin, you get a free mount at level 40; so, you are free to buy spells as you want while leveling without the worry of draining your money for the level 40 mark. Paladins have a lot of great utility, and I would recommend buying all your blessings/auras as they come out.
Each Paladin spec will prioritize slightly different abilities to buy, so we will direct you to our spec guides for exact details:

Paladin Leveling Rotation in Classic WoW
All three paladin specs have a fairly simple rotation, with not many active abilities available, having auto-attacks being grand part of their damage.
The guide links below detail the rotation for each Paladin leveling rotation in more detail:
Retribution Paladin DPS Rotation
Protection Paladin DPS Rotation
Holy Paladin DPS Rotation
Paladin Dungeon Leveling in Classic WoW
Paladins can be very popular in dungeon groups due to the amount of utility brought when they join a group. While leveling, all different Paladin specs have a place in groups, giving you the freedom to choose what you want to play if you want to focus on dungeons.
Paladin Dungeon Healing Ability Rotation in Classic WoW
Unlike more recent expansions, Paladins can heal dungeons regardless of which talent tree they've spent most points on, it is just important to remember to bring a lot of water with you to compensate for the lack of supporting talents for healing.
The guide links below detail the priority system for Paladin Healing while leveling in more detail:

Paladin Dungeon Cleave Setup in Classic WoW
A popular leveling strategy that has recently surfaced in WoW Classic is a dungeon cleave group.
Spell Cleave Dungeon Guide
Let's quickly go over some strategies for a
圣骑士
who may find themselves in a cleave group. This is a very fast-paced strategy, and oftentimes groups will spend hours at a time in one particular dungeon. Your primary objective will be healing, although some melee cleave groups could want a Retribution
圣骑士
, but you won't be able to compete in damage with
战士
and
潜行者
. A few pointers include:
remember to maintain
blessings
every 5 minutes!
utilize the 5-second rule (see
The Five-Second Rule, a Story of Love & Hate
)
judging

prioritize what you'll be using

ensure you have plenty of food, drinks & reagents in your bags
Paladin Trainer Locations in Classic WoW
You must train abilities, including their higher ranks, through Paladin Trainers. Below are the locations of the Paladin Trainers for the Alliance in Classic WoW.

Paladin Weapon Skills in Classic WoW
Paladins can equip a variety of weapons, including 1H/2H Axes, Maces, and Swords, as well as Polearms.

At level 10, Classic Paladin can visit weapon trainers in capital cities to learn additional weapon skills for each. (Note: learning Polearms requires level 20 and .)
Be aware that not all Cities have trainers for all weapon skills.

Best Weapons and Gear For Leveling a Paladin in Classic WoW
Paladins while leveling aim for slow two-handed weapons, especially when used with
as it can proc Holy damage equal to 70% of normal weapon damage. If you are looking for weapons that fit this category, you can use Wowhead's item database to filter for 2H weapons above a certain speed. For example, here is a
filter link
to all 2H weapons with a speed of 3.4 or higher.
While there's a lot of RNG that goes into what you will be using while leveling (finding a green weapon at level 5 for instance), there are certain places where you can guarantee yourself an upgrade. Having a good weapon is essential for
圣骑士
s, so even a white weapon with higher damage can be better. If you're playing with a group, it would be a good idea for your group to help purchase you a new weapon at certain level intervals.
Paladin Leveling Weapon Progression in Classic WoW
When leveling, weapon upgrades will always be the most impactful change to your character, thus, always having the best-possible weapon can make your leveling experience much easier and faster.
For DPSing and questing in general, you'll be usually fine always going for 2H Weapons that have a higher DPS stat, so you can use that as a rule to see if a weapon is an upgrade or not.
Note: Remember to keep your Weapon Skills always close to max, that way, when you swap weapons you won't need to waste too much time leveling its Weapon Skill!
Below is a list of popular weapons and their levels/requirements, either for being Quest Rewards, easily crafted by professions, or easy drop from popular dungeons.
Note
, however, that this is not an extensive list of every weapon available while leveling. Don't grow attached to weapons and replace them often when you find DPS upgrades on them, even if they are white weapons from vendors like
巨型战斧
, as long as they are slow 2h weapons.

Stat Weights while Leveling a Paladin in Classic WoW
Strength = Spirit > Agi > Stam > Intellect
Strength:
This is going to be your primary damage increasing stat, more strength means more attack power which means faster kill speed.
Spirit:
Spirit is extremely good while leveling in Classic, allowing you to regen health out of combat and reduces the amount of time you spend eating.
Agility:
Gives you crit and dodge, both useful combat stats.
Stamina:
Increases total health points.
Intellect:
Increases mana and spell crit chance.
Best Paladin Leveling Professions in Classic WoW
Although there are many professions to choose from, some can give a
圣骑士
a bit of an edge. Most Retribution
圣骑士
s will want to go with
工程学
to help with DPS, gap-closing and adding to their general PvE and PvP effectiveness.
工程学
is often paired with
采矿
. Another popular choice for a
圣骑士
is to take up
锻造
.
If you're looking to just make money, oftentimes players will choose a gathering profession such as
草药学
,
采矿
or
剥皮
.
Paladin Class Quests in Classic WoW
In WoW Classic, all classes have special quests that are unique to them, providing unique experiences and, more importantly, rewards. For a
圣骑士
, your specific class quests conclude in acquiring:
救赎
维里甘之拳
感知亡灵
召唤战马
召唤军马

Changes to Questing in Classic WoW
If you're coming to Classic from BFA (or any later expansion for that matter), there are going to be some changes in your questing experience that you will want to be ready for:
Quests and Objectives are not displayed on the map:
To put it simply, you will have to do some exploring; if you are lost at some point during a quest you might have to read the quest or go to an external website, to find out where you are supposed to be going. While there might eventually be a leveling addon for Classic, part of the game is feeling immersed in a world to create an adventure all your own.
You may struggle to kill enemies
: Especially as a
圣骑士
, you won't be able to overcome several mobs at once or be able to solo an elite mob. I'd recommend leveling with a Warrior or Rogue to balance out your group's leveling speed.
Zones don't guarantee a certain amount of levels:
Once again, coming from BFA or one of the later expansions, you might be used to finishing a zone (Vol'Dun for instance) and expecting to be two levels higher. In Classic, the difficulty of zones vary, and especially as a
圣骑士
, you will want to do a lower difficulty quest. You'll find yourself bouncing between a few zones at any given level range.
Best Paladin Questing Zones in Classic WoW
While questing is all about opportunity, exploration, and competition, you should be familiar with some of the better zones for each faction:
黑海岸
(11-19): Once you complete the starting area for your particular race, you begin to have options of where to go, where to quest, and for Alliance, in particular, one of the best early game zones is Darkshore.
洛克莫丹
(10-18): Second to Darkshore would be the Gnome/Dwarf 10-18 zone of Loch Modan. The zone isn't as rich as Darkshore, but, it has some relatively easy quests. This is a good place to come back to and complete the quests once you out-level the content.
西部荒野
(9-18): While these initial questing zones come down to preference, I would not suggest Westfall as a zone in regards to difficulty. However, if you have a group of friends you are leveling with, and you want to go into Deadmines for a quest run and get some higher item level rewards, this zone is worth considering.
赤脊山
(15-25): This is the level range where you will have to bounce between zones of equal difficulty if you want to fill your quest bar from questing alone. Forming an efficient route of the next few zones will be important to increase your leveling speed.
暮色森林
(10-30): This is probably one of my favorite zones; it's full of quests, full of flavor, and has a lot of solid upgrades. Don't miss out on this zone if you play Alliance.
湿地
(20-30): This is probably the last "Alliance only" zone, from here on out you will enter into zones that are contested by both Horde and Alliance.
希尔斯布莱德丘陵
(20-31): Home to the infamous Southshore vs. Tarren Mill world PvP spot, this zone has a lot of good quests for both Alliance and Horde and is usually worked into most people's leveling routes.
灰谷
(19-30): Another flavorful zone as this is the home to what will become Warsong Gulch, plenty of quests for both Alliance and Horde.
千针石林
(24-35): Home to the infamous Shimmer Flats, this is a great zone for both factions to get almost an entire level. It also has a questing hub for Horde.
北荆棘谷
(30-50): probably one of the most infamous zones in the whole of World of Warcraft, you will be coming to this zone off and on from level 30 and up towards level 50.
凄凉之地
(30-39): Home of the dungeon Maraudon, this is one of my favorite zones in the game, and I spend many levels here. There are both Horde and Alliance quest hubs here.
阿拉希高地
(30-40): This zone is home to the 2nd battleground Arathi Basin, there are two hubs here (one for each faction), and there are plenty of good kill quests here.
荒芜之地
(36-45): This is a quick and dirty zone, while it only has a hub for Horde; it is a quick level, and if you have enough players around your level you can do an Uldaman quest run.
塔纳利斯
(40-50): Home to the dungeon Zul'Farrak, I recommend questing here as well as doing a full quest run of ZF.
菲拉斯
(41-60): This is one of the less popular zones for people to quest at, it's worth coming here in your early 40s as there are plenty of quests for both factions.
灼热峡谷
(43-56): This zone is particularly exciting because you get your first taste of the end-game, On one side of Blackrock Mountain is a lower level zone with various quests coming from the Thorium Brotherhood.
燃烧平原
(50-59): The other side of Blackrock Mountain, this is a higher level zone and has hubs for both Horde and Alliance, you will probably come to this zone a couple of times as the level range is quite large. Some dungeon quests come from this zone.
费伍德森林
(47-54): This zone is a must-complete for me as the quests are quite good and you will need to come here to get your
塞纳里奥信标
, which is needed to farm various consumables like
鞭根块茎
.
安戈洛环形山
(48-55): This is another hot zone as it has a plethora of quests and will get you nearly two levels from completing the crater.
西瘟疫之地
(46-57): This zone is excellent for quick leveling, as you can complete the "cauldron" questline for massive amounts of experience. It's worth noting that you need a breadcrumb quest from your faction's major city.
东瘟疫之地
(54-59): Home to the legendary Naxxramas, this zone gives you another taste of the end-game immediately upon questing. You will spend a lot of time here even at max level.
冬泉谷
(55-60): This is an amazing zone, it has a ton of quests that give a ton of experience, and you can get
玛艾里的容器
, allowing you to farm Jujus, a very good consumable for raids.

Leveling Dungeons for Paladins in Season of Mastery

Bag Space in Season of Mastery
One aspect of Classic leveling that many players, especially retail players, often forget is bag space. Unlike when you start a new expansion, starting in Classic means you only have your default backpack available, with meager 14 items lots.
To ease that off, there are some bags that you can easily obtain at the start of the game:
亚麻包
- Created by Tailors. Requires
裁缝
skill level 45 and takes 6x
亚麻布
, obtained from Humanoid enemies, and 3x
粗线
, purchasable at
Tailoring supplies vendors
.
If you have the necessary materials, try asking in General Chat or Trade Chat if any Tailor could help you making that bag. If you find someone, make sure to tip them for their help!
棕色小袋
- Dropped by many different humanoid mobs and sold by
select vendors in early game
for around .
科多兽皮包
- Created by Leatherworkers. Requires
制皮
skill level 40 and is learned from
图样:科多兽皮包
, which is only sold by a Horde vendor. Alliance players may get this pattern by using the Neutral AH in Gadgetzan. Requires 3x
薄科多兽皮
, 4x
轻皮
, and 1x
粗线
.

Closing Thoughts on Leveling a Paladin in Classic WoW
Quality of Life changes have been implemented over the years:
If you are coming from
Battle for Azeroth
, there are going to be a lot of not-so-friendly changes that make questing harder, or at least take more time. Quests and objectives won't be marked on your map, so you will have to do a lot more exploring. There won't be a steady stream of quests from 1-60, so you will have to combine questing and grinding enemies for the experience to level. There's no AoE looting, and quest items take space in your bags. Cooldown abilities are available much less frequently, and there's significantly less personal healing, which adds much more downtime in between pulls as you sit and eat or use First Aid/Alchemy to heal. Playing efficiently is the best thing you can do to speed up your leveling.
Play Retribution for Leveling:
Your best bet for leveling will be to play Retribution, while there are multiple options of how to spec, I believe that following the path detailed in this guide is the most efficient and straightforward way to level a Paladin. If it's your first time leveling, I'd suggest leveling with a Warrior or Rogue since you will have the most synergy with a melee class.
Grouping is incredibly efficient:
If you level with other people, you'll provide a tremendous amount of support to anyone in your party: Blessings are incredibly unique and are faction-defining for Alliance, whether you are with casters or with melee, you'll be providing utility that will increase your group's leveling efficiency.
Weapon upgrades are significant for Paladins:
The biggest upgrade you will get is a better weapon, you should be ready to put forth the extra time and/or effort to get the best weapons for leveling. Some of them come from quests, while others can be bought from a vendor.

Would be nice if you could explain
why
Darkshore is the best low level leveling zone.
Is it because there are so many quests, easy quests, or what?

I'm not sure if these references to Horde leveling are relevant considering Classic paladins are Alliance only.

I would change a few things, given my own experiences playing paladin.
1. Seal choice pre-21
I'm surprised you recommend Seal of Righteousness, even with talents it'll add about 15% damage per swing. Seal of the Crusader, whilst not as exciting, deals 40% more damage. It has a -weapondamage component, which is bugged and doesn't "deal less damage with each swing" as the tooltip suggest. This is offset by the +ap (you will swing for the same amount, check your char sheet -> weapondamage for this!) but you will be attacking 40% faster. As such, SoR is 10-15% damage, SoCru is 40%.
2. Parry
This is a hugely underestimated and overlooked talent. I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out on how it works:
When you parry an enemy, your swing timer is
reduced
to 50%. You never loose a swing, but depending on the time of your parry vs your swing, you can chop up to 50% off the swingtimer. You can see evidence for this by just watching your attacks when you parry, or consider why tanks don't autoattack on the hardest hitting bosses, as mobs ALSO benefit from this swing reduction if they parry you.
As ret, you'll be using the slowest weapon as possible to give yourself the highest possible baseline proc% on Seal of Command. With a slower weapon swing, you'll benefit more from these swingtimer reductions. Additionally, these "swing reductions" do not affect your baseline weapon speed, so your SoC% remains the same but you'll be doing more attacks per minute - so you'll be boosting your damage against melee mobs pretty well.
It'll stack on top of your 5% baseline parry, giving an extra 5% damage reduction against most of the mobs you'll be levelling against. It also increases your damage as you'll swing more often. The best part is when you pull 2 or more mobs, or against those pesky dual wielding mobs, or against an elite/named mob you're trying to burn down you'll be getting more parries, more swing reductions, and therefore better DPS in those crunch situations.
It'll be your own preference as to how you build the parry talents in to your levelling build - if you're happy judging less, then replace Benediction. If you want to judge more, or prefer using Blessing of Wisdom for better uptime, then replace Imp Blessing of Might.

You may struggle to kill enemies: Especially as a Paladin, you won't really be able to overcome several mobs at once, or be able to solo an elite mob. I'd recommend leveling with a Warrior or Rogue to balance out your group's leveling speed.
In Classic, the difficulty of zones vary, and especially as a Paladin you will want to do a lower difficulty quest. You'll find yourself bouncing between a few zones at any given level range.
This is all very wrong. Paladins take a while to level, it's true, but of all the classes Paladins are te hardiest. They have, since Vanilla, been renowned for their capacity to solo both huge numbers of mobs and elite mobs that would usually take a party to take down. They may be slow, but you have to try really hard to die

To be honest i am not ever commenting on stuff but seeing the things i see here and after just learning that /sit won't work for reckoning which i intended to do i started looking at this guide and seeing the 22-60 talents i almost died since this is literally the build i had when i was 14 years old leveling my first character
which i made
. Imagine the efficiency on that build.
After all these years with a normal functioning brain and well rounded info going around your worst enemy while leveling is not exactly how long it takes you to kill a mob, it's the time you are doing nothing = regen so the optimal build
through
10-22 for me is this one
https://classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/paladin/AAADPJBw
just go with this all the way save your money, level cooking and w.e other profession you want along the way and get extra leveling benefits, you can do all these in an efficient way with around 5 days /played when 60 with max main profs and max first aid & cooking for even more sustain with spirit buffs and bandages, also if you go alchemy/herb would be a good idea if you are planning to be a healer for self-sustain in raids so you don't go bankrupt and all these potions and elixirs will enable you to solo "oh #$%^" quests like a boss (you will still need some sort of cooldowns)
to further solidify my take on talents let's look at blessing of might for a sec 25ap = 1dps
blessing of might ap for each rank:
rank 1=20 rank 2=35 rank 3=55 rank 4=85 rank 5=115 rank 6=155 rank 7=185
bonus ap 5/5 talent for each rank:
rank 1=4 rank 2=7 rank 3=11 rank 4=17 rank 5=25 rank 6= 31 rank 7=31-32
as you can see here from roughly estimates
at max rank blessing of might talented
you basically gain around
1.5 extra dps
where as BoW rank 1 at lvl 14 gives you effectively 10mp5 which means 12 ticks per min x 5 min = 600 free mana
at rank 1
to keep going regardless of casting or not, just use might when you have to solo burst some hard mob.
You could argue that you have to do infinite amounts of fighting and that it increases efficiency and yes it does but it also decreases it when compared to benediction + BoW setup, with might set up you will sit around doing nothing and the only way for you to kill something is afk AA without using your abilities because well OOM or 1 judge per mob.Keep in mind also that BoW is mp5 buff which continues even while casting and between 2 judgements which is 8 secs you also retain 1 tick of your spirit mana regen between judgements due to the 5 second rule regardless of server ticks due to the cooldown which is 8 seconds with talent. Btw don't judge a mob if it's about to die in the next auto attack and let your mana regen keep flowing to bash the next ones harder xD and prioritize bandaging yourself if available instead of casting.
The trick here would be blessing of wisdom + benediction + improved judgement and try to judge on cd while keeping a decent mana pool, in other words play smart and planning ahead "how much blood do you have to shed non-stop for the lord of light?"(pun intended) Not only you decrease your kill timer by probably around 8 secs per mob (let's say 2 judges = 2 aa with a 3.5 - 3.8 attack speed weapon which is what you are looking for as a SoCommand user)
Note:
if you fast level without being able to come across a slow 2H (3.5+) it would be better to use seal of righteousness. If you are 45lvl+ you might wanna consider taking the talented version too since around this point percentage increases become relevant enough, as to what you should drop for it i would probably say the strength talent so you can keep your viability as a healer in 5-man thought this one might come to personal preference.
Finishing the ret tree i suggest it looks like that
https://classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/paladin/AAAEPc3DdA
Order:
5/5 conviction > finish parry >Sanctity> 2handed >1 SotC
(we take this for longer lasting fights like elites etc that we are gonna try to solo if no other options are available) and the rest should be straight forward.
Finally this is the 60 lvl build:
https://classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/paladin/A_DMnAAEPc3DdA
further increasing efficiency, dps, oh !@#$ button buff and enabling you to more or less with some healing gear be useful as a healer in high level dungeons which you will probably have to do a lot for getting that sweet easy spot and getting your healing gear for 60 if you are interested in raiding.
i hope this will help out some people cos it took some long ass time to type all that stuff in a somewhat decent order xD.

In my own experience leveling on private servers multiple times, you get a lot more benefit from Blessing of Wisdom while leveling than you do Blessing of Might. The increased dps from Might is marginal at best, even when talented, while Wisdom significantly reduced the frequency at which you need to sit and drink to recover mana, particularly important when you get to level 25+. Additionally Seal of the Crusader should only be used with very slow weapons (3.5 attack rate and up) since its proc can only happen so many times per minute, a slower weapon will proc on more swings, and will deal increased damage due to the proc scaling with weapon damage. With faster weapons (like some of the 2.5 speed weapons you suggest) Seal of Righteousness provides significantly more DPS.
It would also be wise to mention the weapon Verigan's Fist, obtained through a class quest available at level 20, as this is a very powerful weapon that can be used into the 30's if you aren't lucky enough to get a weapon drop from a dungeon, or find it difficult to get a group together. Actually completing the quest at level 20 can take some doing, as it requires going through SFK, which is not the easiest dungeon for alliance to get to, but there are a number of class quests that require it so it shouldn't be too onerous.
Around level 30-35ish you also have the option to switch to a Protection based reflect build, and work on AoE grinding mobs, which can be significantly higher XP per hour than Ret questing and farming single mobs, but it does require a respec and a significant change of playstyle.

Thank you for the great and detailed guide! What is the best Paladin build for someone who will be trio'ing with a DPS Mage and Rogue? I want to keep agro and be able to heal + buff.

Verigan's Fist
- get this and win. At level 20 Duthorian Rall in SW will have a quest for you to do, this weapon should once completed last you until level 40 easily imho.
It is a bit of a pain to get as you have to go to SFK, DM, Loch Modan to get all the pieces, however it's amazing. The only good thing with the SFK part is you only need to go to the stables which is right at the start, if you don't get a full group grab 2-3 friends for the run, make sure to pick up the Chillwind Camp FP in WPL and all the others on the way too for future leveling (Arathi, Southshore).
Good luck now!

Not sure if you realize this, but Duskwood is NOT a level 10 area. Closer to, if not, 20. May want to update that.

Why does this WoW Classic guide list weapons available to paladin from Orgrimmar and Crossroads NPC's lol?

So you suggest not using Judgement at all because of its mana cost (you don't even explain that it's the seal that uses the most mana, not the Judgement itself), and then proceed to recommend buying new ranks of Seal of Command, that only boost Judgement damage.
You didn't think this through.
This guide is average at best.

I've been looking at this guide and reading the comments, and apparently followed none of them properly. Currently lvl 24, with 5/5 strength-talent from holy, and rest in benediction, imp judge, and parry from retribution. Right now I really feel at a crossroads, as I haven't found a slow 2h-weapon that will justify getting Seal of Command but I won't really get much from going holy for a while either.
I am on my way to get verigan's fist soon too, and really like going dungeons with pugs where I fill whatever role is necessary (usually healer). Do I commit to getting consecration for that sweet sweet aoe, and the possibility of getting 5/5 int too, or stick to going ret so I can actually carry myself out in the big scary open world?

I gotta ask don't you think spending 5 points in Divine intellect is better over improved seal of rightousness when your main damaging seal is Seal of Command?

This is objectively the worst class guide on here. So many mistakes/inaccurate info.

Guide: Strength = Spirit > Agi > Stam > Intellect
Me: Strenght > Agi > Stam > Int > everything else > Spirit
Maybe im pretty wrong but this scentence:
Spirit: Spirit is extremely good while leveling in Classic, allowing you to regen health out of combat and reduces the amount of time you spend eating.
looks like copied from a warrior or other non healing classes. For me it must be a hell of a fight when i have to eat after a fight. yes i maybe be oom and have to drink but eating only would appear if i horribly miscalculate how many mobs i can take down at once...
so if you say spirit is nice, because you dont have to drink so long i would say, yeah and when do you drink? out of combat, so if you really wanna have faster regeneration make a spirit equip and wear it while waiting :D
I mean maybe you dont have to drinkt and eat so much, if you would wear stats like stam and int.
i dont know, maybe im wrong and you level faster with this stat but for me paladin it the class that cant use spirit effective and it only benefits when you are out of combat so you use this stat to get as fast as possible in combat but if you have more int you dont get so fast in this situation. is it really faster to drink with your stamina pally after two mobs vs pala with other stats who beats more mobs and faster but have to sit 8 seconds longer?

A big problem I have with this guide is that
a pure Retribution build is not, in fact, the fastest way to level a paladin
. And
you are completely wrong about Protection being a slow leveling spec
. Level 10-20 you do want to spec into Ret, but as early as level 20 you will want to respec and put 11 points in holy to get
Consecration
, and then put your other points into protection up to
Blessing of Sanctuary
, and finally put points in Retribution to get
Conviction
and
Improved Retribution Aura
. You're final build is going to look something like this:
https://classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/paladin/055001-053240330001-05203050202
. Though you will likely want to respec again at 60 to something more specific,
I guarantee this build is better for fast leveling than any of the information posted in this guide.
This type of build will allow you to pull huge packs of ~10 enemies and AoE them down like a mage. This is significantly faster than smacking mobs one at a time with auto-attacks. You can also very easily use this AoE grinding build to tank dungeons and/or farm lower level dungeons for gold. That said, level using any spec you want to, just don't adhere to this guide because it's a bunch of bogus.
Note: You can put the 3 puts in Improved Righteous Fury somewhere else in the protection tree if you have no interest in tanking dungeons.
