Welcome to Wowhead's guide to the Necrolords Covenant Rewards! These rewards are found from many Necrolords Covenant-specific sources, including Covenant Campaigns, Renown vendors, Nathrian Weaponsmiths, and rewards obtainable through the Sanctum features.
Necrolords Covenant Armor Rewards

There are three types of Covenant Cloak transmogs available for Necrolords Covenant members - Each cloak adds a special feature to your back and are obtained with a variety of different ways. We have some tints previewed below, but you can check our Necrolords Covenant Armor guide for all available cloak tints!

Necrolord Armor Transmog Rewards
Covenant armor comes from four known sources: the Covenant campaign, Renown purchases, Abomination Stitching, and an unknown source that we believe may come from elite Necrolord calling quests. We will show sample tints for Necrolord Armor rewards below, but you can see all available tints in the Necrolord Covenant Armor Guide.
Necrolord Maldraxxus Covenant Armor Sets - Shadowlands Transmog
Necrolord Campaign - Bladesworn
This set will be given out as quest rewards through the Necrolord Campaign.
Starting at Chapter 3 of the Covenant storyline, you will earn different pieces through the campaign. Here are the quests that award the pieces for the Necrolord Campaign set, by order of completion and the Renown level at which the chapters open:

Necrolord Prestige - Duty-Bound
It is currently unknown how to obtain this tint, but it is rumored to come from the
, the weekly elite Necrolord callings quest.
Necrolords Covenant Weapon Rewards
There are three available tints for the Necrolords Covenant armor sets, and these can be obtained by completing different activities within the Necrolord Covenant.
Covenant Storyline - Goreforged Weaponry
These weapons can be purchased from
, the Covenant Armor Trader in the eastern portion of the Seat of the Primus, after completing the eighth and final chapter of the Necrolord Campaign,
. Each weapon costs 0
and 0
. The Goreforged weapons have no stats on them and are to be used as cosmetics.
Necrolord Renown - Prime Weaponry
These weapons can be purchased from
, the Renown Quartermaster for the Necrolord in the main area of the Seat of the Primus, starting at Renown 37. Each weapon costs 0

. The Prime weapons have no stats on them and are to be used as cosmetics.
Castle Nathria Tokens - Nathrian Weaponry
These weapons are obtained from Spherule drops in Castle Nathria, and can be purchased from Nathrian Weaponsmith NPCs found at the eastern portion of the Seat of the Primus.
The weapons have the same tints for Raid Finder, Normal and Heroic difficulties, and a second tint for Mythic difficulty weapons.

These weapons can be purchased as the ensemble

Necrolord Covenant Mounts
There are other mounts available within Maldraxxus that are not locked to a Necrolord covenant member. The only mounts this guide will discuss are those that either require a Necrolord Covenant member to unlock but may be looted or purchased by other Covenant members, or are limited to the Necrolord only. (One Undying Army mount has also been added here)
Maldraxxus Rares and Treasures Shadowlands Mounts
Non Covenant Specific Mounts
The mounts below can be obtained via Covenants, not mattering which Covenant you're from. The method of obtaining these mounts changes depending on what Covenant you're from.
Necroray Mounts:

can be looted from one of two Covenant Calling reward boxes,

is earned by completing several Maldraxxus-themed Callings;
is obtained specifically by completing

. The
has about a 1-2% chance to appear in either type. After 3 days, it hatches into the
, and you can get one of 3 different Necroray mounts:

- purple and olive green
- olive green and brown
Abomination Factory Mounts (Each Mount can be purchased from

after the construct is built). These can also be purchased through the other Sanctums' special areas:
Non Covenant Specific Mounts, but requires a Necrolord member to obtain
This mount can be obtained by members of any Covenants but requires either communicating with a member of the Necrolord covenant to obtain them.
- Requires a Necrolord member to channel their Anima Conductor to the House of Constructs to spawn

Necrolord Covenant Pets, Toys, and Weapon Illusions
A Covenant exclusive toy, battle pet and weapon illusion can be purchased after earning various levels of Renown. In addition, there are a few other Covenant-specific pets you can buy.

The following four pets can be acquired by all Covenants, but only in their Sanctums. Necrolords acquire these through the Abomination Factory:
Necrolord Covenant Enhancement Buffs
To open Necrolord Enhancements, you need to have developed your Anima Conductor to level 3 and stream Anima to the House of Rituals conductor. This will open access to Necrolord Enhancements.
These are located in the House of Blades inside the House of Rituals. This area is well guarded from either direction, and guarded inside.
66.4, 31.6 -
- Fleshcrafting summons a skeleton to fight alongside you for 30 sec, one for each skeleton that contributes to your Fleshcraft.
66.3, 32.0 -
- When you take damage, you have a chance to gain one stack of Crystallizing Anima, decreasing the damage you take by 1%, lasting for 30 sec. Taking damage at 10 stacks freezes nearby enemies for 5 sec and increases damage they take by 10%. Approximately 5 procs per minute.
66.6 32.6 -
- You maintain a shard of maldracite that absorbs souls of those you defeat. When reduced below 50% health, it shatters, knocking back nearby enemies and shielding you for 50% of your health for 5 min. This effect cannot happen more than once every 10 min, reduced by 10 sec each time you deal a killing blow.

Necrolord Covenant Achievements
In addition to everything else, working for your Covenant will also earn several achievements.
Non-Covenant Specific Achievements
The achievements below can be completed by joining any Covenant.
- Pledge your allegiance to one of the covenants in the Shadowlands.
Soulbind Achievements:
- Unlock your covenant's first soulbind.
- Unlock your covenant's second soulbind.
- Unlock your covenant's third soulbind.
- Unlock all rows in all three of your covenant's soulbinds.
Renown achievements:
- Reach Renown level 10.
- Reach Renown level 20.
- Reach Renown level 30.
- Reach Renown level 40.
Sanctum Upgrades:
- Unlock Rank III of your Anima Conductor.
- Unlock all of the locations connected to your Anima Conductor.
- Use your Anima Conductor 50 times.
- Unlock Rank III of your Sanctum's Travel Network.
- Unlock Rank III of your Sanctum's Adventures Command Table.
- Unlock Rank V of your Sanctum's Special Feature (for Venthyr, the Ember Court)
- Fully upgrade all of your Covenant Sanctum features.
Adventure Achievements:
- Complete an adventure.
- Complete 10 adventures.
- Complete 100 adventures.
- Collect all 12 adventurers from your Covenant.
- Level an adventurer to level 20.
- Level an adventurer to level 40.
- Level an adventurer to level 60.
- Raise three soulbinds to level 60 in Adventures.
- Complete all of the "The Maw" category adventures.
Maldraxxus Specific Achievements
These achievements can be completed by anyone in Maldraxxus, regardless of Covenant:
Exploration Achievements:
- Complete the following special encounters in Maldraxxus.
- Complete the Maldraxxus storylines listed below
- Complete the optional Maldraxxus storylines listed below.
- Discover the hidden treasures of Maldraxxus.
- Obtain Sorrowbane from the Theater of Pain.
- Defeat all seven champions in the Theater of Pain.
- Defeat all seven creations from the Pool of Mixed Monstrosities.
- Find and pet all of the kittens in Maldraxxus.
- Collect every customization for the Necrotic Acolyte disguise in Maldraxxus.
World Quest Achievements:
- Win "It's Raceday in the Ramparts" World Quest 10 times.
Faction Achievements:
- Earn Exalted status with the Undying Army.
Maldraxxus Specific Achievements
These achievements can be only be completed by members of the Necrolord Covenant:
Sanctum Achievements:
- Complete all of the following Abominable Stitching Quests
- Contribute 100 Anima-Bound Wraps to Summoner Gerard to help summon Visectus, Specter Of War.
- Create 25 of these Fashion Accessories with Abominable Stitching.
- Build each of the following constructs with Abominable Stitching.
- With Chordy's help, obtain the great Luckydo.
- Complete the Abominable Stitching achievements listed below.
