now have a small gap between them. Although this might seem like a nerf, in PvE there can be situations where this is actually a good thing -

now has a chance to proc multiple times, since its 0.5 second internal cooldown is shorter than the interval between

procs if you get at least 2 or 3 procs.
Kyrian Retribution Paladin Covenant Abilities
Kyrian Retribution Paladin Class Ability:

If you choose Kyrian, the main damage increase you'll notice will be from
圣洁鸣钟
. For Retribution, this will cast

on up to five targets, although it has some quirks:
You'll gain one Holy Power for each

Although not mentioned in the tooltip, each

does double normal damage
The

debuff is applied to each target hit like normal
As you may expect,
圣洁鸣钟
does a lot better in situations with 5 targets available than one. This isn't only due to the obvious fact that more
审判
damage is better, but also because you'll gain 5 Holy Power rather than 1, which will result in much more damage thanks to extra
神圣风暴
casts. Despite this scaling, its baseline damage on single target is weak.
明澈之音
is Kyrian's Potency conduit, which significantly increases its damage to your primary target as it has a chance to let your
审判
hit your target up to 3 additional times. You'll also gain an extra Holy Power for each extra
审判
cast, and if you get lucky with procs you're able to fit a spender between procs to benefit from an extra
审判
debuff.
明澈之音
is a strong Potency conduit that helps make up for
圣洁鸣钟
's lackluster single target damage.
Kyrian Retribution Paladin Signature Ability:

Kyrian's signature ability is

, which will summon a cute owl that, among other things, will give you a

. This can be used as a sort of third health potion, or it can be used to dispel bleeds and curses. Although technically it will also remove diseases and poisons, Ret already has the ability to do that with

on a very short cooldown. Due to its effects overlapping with a lot of Ret's toolkit, you won't find too many situations where it'll be incredibly useful, but an extra heal in a pinch is never a bad thing to have on hand.
Legendary Interactions for Kyrian Retribution Paladin
The only Legendary synergy Kyrian has is with

, as
圣洁鸣钟
has a chance to proc its cost reduction. As of 9.0.5
明澈之音
procs now also have a chance to proc
法官的审判
, which makes it much stronger for Kyrian.
Retribution Paladin Legendaries
Kyrian Retribution Paladin Soulbinds
The best path to pick for Retribution will usually include two Potency conduits, so the correct path to use is generally pretty easy to identify. The biggest choice between each soulbind for damage will be based on the extra damage soulbind ability that they provide on top of the Potency slots. In situations where the choice is between a Finesse and an Endurance slot or between two other utility soulbind abilities, feel free to deviate from the recommended paths if you think another option would be more useful for you.
Pelagos's
战斗冥想
activates when you use
圣洁鸣钟
and is a large Mastery buff. It can also be slightly extended by walking through the orbs it spawns on the ground.

is a stacking magic damage reduction buff that gets refreshed as you cast different spells. Since Ret will naturally do this anyway, you'll have permanent uptime on the buff.
Both of these abilities are pretty strong for PvE content, since most damage you'll take is from magic and

grants a large amount of Mastery.
Unfortunately, Kleia doesn't have any damage soulbind abilities that can be taken along with two Potency conduits. She does still have some reasonable utility abilities:

will heal a nearby party member if they drop below 50%, based on its stacks.

increases the maximum health of your party members while you're above 90% health.
更进一步
increases your mounted speed (including
神圣马驹
) while you're above 90% health.

gives you a small absorb shield while you're out of combat, which can be useful in Mythic+.

gives your spells a chance to slow your target for a long duration.
However, none of these are strong enough to make up for her lack of damage abilities.

This build is focused primarily on single target. For cleave situations, you can drop

do slightly better in Mythic+ than other options, but the differences are all very small. You can use pretty much any combination of potency conduits if they're significantly higher item level.
Kyrian Retribution Paladin Rotation Changes
Use

on cooldown unless there will be additional targets for it spawning shortly. Make sure to not overcap Holy Power with it on AoE - for example, don't use it immediately if you have 3 Holy Power and you're a fighting a pack of four enemies. For single target, you should also wait to use it if your target already has a
审判
debuff on them, as otherwise you'll miss out on a free 25% bonus to your next

Kyrian Retribution Paladin Talent Builds
Kyrian will provide a very small increase to

, since

will give at least 3 stacks. This doesn't dramatically increase the strength of

though, and it isn't likely to change which situations you use it for.

's cooldown also lines up with

, and these talents may perform better for you than other options in their rows.
