Legendary
items are a staple of World of Warcraft expansions. In
Shadowlands
Legendary Items are being reimagined. Instead of working to acquire a Legendary gear piece, you will work to acquire materials that will allow you to craft and add a
Legendary Power
to an existing gear piece. Every class has four general Legendary Powers and four spec-specific Legendary Powers. Many of these Legendary Powers are inspired by past Set Bonuses, Artifact Powers, and Legion Legendary effects.
As a
Hunter
, you will have specific Legendary Powers designed especially for your class. In this guide we will outline all Shadowlands Hunter Legendary Powers and what item slots they can be applied to.

Best Legendary Powers for Hunters in Shadowlands
Shadowlands Legendary powers grant impactful gameplay effects for your character through the new Runecarving system. As your crafted Shadowlands legendary will be the most important piece of gear in the expansion, providing large performance benefits, it is crucial to pick the right legendary to craft and effectively spend your Soul Ash.
Our Hunter class writers have recommended the best legendary powers and item slots for Shadowlands content, as well as highlighting which legendaries are not worth crafting. Keep in mind that Shadowlands is still undergoing tuning and that these may change without notice. Also keep in mind that "Best" can be both pretty subjective and, in many cases, a very close call. : Your spells and abilities have a low chance to summon a spiritual familiar to your side, increasing your damage by 10%, healing by 10% or damage reduction by 10% for 10 sec, based on your role. This effect is duplicated on up to 3 allies at 50% effectiveness, preferring allies with the same role.

Choice
Some Issues i see.
1. The trap legendary focus thing doesn't make any sense, even with pvp in mind, This will see .5% play. maybe less please don't waste a legendary slot with this. Why doesn't it make sense? Well How often do hunters actively use traps? With
Soul Forged Embers
legendary they will for sure use tar trap a lot more than most ever have. But there is no way a hunter is gonna use
Nessingwary's Trapping Apparatus
actively since there isn't a lot situations where this would out weigh the dmg or utility potential of the other legendarys. It needs to reset a cd or reduce a cd as well as give focus back. The focus alone isn't enough for players to ever use this over the other legendarys.
2.
Dire Command
: isn't a bm exclusive legendary, if survival can use kill command as well. In Fact based off how survival actually plays, this one might be used more for survival than bm. As far as bm actually using this over the other legendarys listed it would need a higher proc chance or dmg increase to kill command.
3.
Craven Strategem
: being used for pve is cool and might see some unique play but, its just the pvp talent with a cool down reduction on it. Couldn't this just be baseline for survival it Actually makes sense to be in there.
4.
Butcher's Bone Fragments
: Is only good with the butchery talent.
As a hunter main for almost 11 years now from my experience these are the legendary i would look at first before ever considering the others.
Beast mastery legendary
.
1.Qa'pla, Eredun War Order: replacement killer cobra talent that allows me to use the other 2 without the single target loss.
2.Rylakstalker's Piercing Fangs: This legendary add a lot of burst and a lot of potential aoe
Survival Legendarys
:
1.Wildfire Cluster: As this adds more aoe potential to survivals poor aoe toolkit, As well as a single target increase.
2. Rylakstalker's Confounding Strikes: This also adds "potential aoe" and "potential" single target. If they dont use the moongoose bite talent.
Marksment Legendarys
:
1.Eagletalon's True Focus: This one is really good single target and aoe, Helps a lot with marksmens Trueshot due not needing to regen focus longer into the duration of Trueshot.
2.Surging Shots: Is a decent legendary when not compared to Number 1.
3.Serpentstalker's Trickery: Is really good aoe on 3 targets.
4.Secrets of the Unblinking Vigil: The 50% chance to not consume Trick Shots, gives marksman a chance to keep up with aoe by not wasting focus on multi-shots.
Neutral Legenadarys
:
1.Call of the Wild: is useful all around Due to it affecting all 3 specs major dps cool-downs and the Aspects they share.
2.Soulforge Embers: Looks to be the highest dmg legendary for pve and pvp atm for the attack power ratio and the fact its a 30 second cool down(tar traps cool down).

why are they all boring : \. except the flare one. make something that effects rotation somehow. doing the same thing and the legendary does a lil bit more damage for you. do someting game changing dudes. specially for mm .

I use traps all the time. Prior to the time Blizz took them away, I used them all , especially in group situations. Back in the day, groups used the square to Mark for freezing traps. It was a known thing in dungeons. Do we get to use all 8 or are you limited to choosing one from each type: 1 general and 1 spec?

These legendries are supper boring. For BM there may be some choices but for MM, I have to take "Eagletalon's True Focus" so my "big DPS cooldown" is useable(right now there is very little difference between when you use trueshot and when you don't) and since they've increased the focus cost of almost all MM abilities, hence making arcane shot to costly, "Serpentstalker's Trickery" is out unles you want to cast steady shot even more.
that leaves "Secrets of the Unblinking Vigil" for AOE and "Surging Shots" for single target and general use. mm has always bee the slowest hunter spec, because you have to stand still to cast aimed shot and other things, but it was fine. now it's slow and clunky much like BFA enhancement shaman. you are constantly deprived of focus.
at least in BFA BM was an OK choice, but this 4 sec pet rez is a huge concern in raids because pets just die for stupid reasons. the should have at least gave us the instant rez.

The BM legendries are what garbage fires wish they could be. 10% to proc this, 10% to make this cost nothing. Wow how fun and interactive, seriously they must have came up with these while sitting on the toilet cuz they're #$%^!
Here's a few ideas free of charge since Blizzard struggles with them.
Aspect of the Wild now summons a dire beast for 20 seconds. (OR Aspect of the Wild can summon an old school stampede for 8 seconds)
Kill Shot now drives your beasts into a mania eager to finish off the enemy causing them to do 10% more damage to enemies below 20% HP.
Kill Shot Makes the next Kill Command deal 25% more damage. The next Kill Command increases the damage of Kill Shot by 10%.
Bestial Wrath reduces the cost of your abilities by 50% (inspired by patch 6.0.1 version of BW. Also known as when WoW was good)
While Bestial Wrath is active your pet cannot be killed (inspired by patch 5.0.1 version of BW. Also known as when WoW was good)
Edit: Coming back to make some changes, because flat damage buffs aren't really that interesting or cool. Ideally I want legendary powers to interact with builds/rotation.
So instead of Killshot just buffing other abilities, after using Kill Shot your next Cobra Shot is free. This would be a nice legendary to explore the Killer Cobra/Venomous Bite talents.
While Beast Cleave is active your pets special ability will also hit all targets. So your pet can spread mortal wounds, slows, roots or dispels in AoE situations.

While the MM legendries became a bit better (they increase the cost of abilities then gave legendries to reduce them), the BM ones are still lukewarm at best.
example Dire Command, yes I like more beasts on my side but 15% is too low. and I'm sure we can have only one dire beast out. so at best it's just a 5% ish haste boost (wow shivers, 5%) IF you get the proc. if not it's no better that an ordinary item.
Flamewaker's Cobra Sting: BM usually isn't a focus deprived spec like MM. so I see no major "LEGENDARY" changes there.
if I'm not mistaken, in legion the number of beast we had made a difference on our performance. now that I call beast mastery. more pets more dmg. I could have 5~7 beasts out shredding my target.
