What is the Fury Warrior Mage Tower Challenge? - An Impossible Foe
The Mage Tower Challenge encounter for Fury Warriors is An Impossible Foe, a heavy movement single phase challenge in which the player must defeat the Imp Mother
阿加莎
and her brood to obtain the Challenge Appearance. For a general overview of the encounter, please follow the link below.
An Impossible Foe - Mage Tower Challenge Overview
Best Fury Warrior Gear for Mage Tower Challenge
The Timewalking version of the Mage Tower Challenge follows rules similar to regular Timewalking content: Gear, trinkets and stats matter, but are all scaled down to item level 50, so better gear isn't as beneficial as better itemized gearing or stacking more special bonuses. Unlike regular Timewalking content, however, many special items and abilities are disabled, including Covenants, Legion & Shadowlands Legendaries, Essences, and Azerite powers. That said, the
阿什拉·卡马斯,决意之护
proc does work when using the
艾泽拉斯之心
, and even disabled legendaries tend to have higher stat budget than epic quality items, making them easy gearing optimizations.
While specialized Mage Tower Timewalking sets can still be built to maximize sockets and other non-restricted bonuses, the encounter is not tuned so difficult as to require them and few of them are class-specific, so this guide will instead focusing on taking Dragonflight characters through the Mage Tower Challenge using currently available gear. For those having difficult and looking for a greater advantage, please refer to the optimization guide below for more information on particularly powerful items from past expansions.
Optimizing Past Expansion Gear for Legion Timewalking Mage Tower Challenges
Best Fury Warrior Stat Priority for Mage Tower Challenge
The challenge includes a single target boss with several waves of adds, so Fury Warriors will primarily use Haste and Mastery, as in most content. While damage is important though, this encounter is largely considered a survivability check in which there's no soft enrage forcing the player to complete it faster, but mistakes can be hard to survive.
Strength > Haste > Mastery > Critical Strike > Versatility
Best Fury Warrior Enchants and Consumables for Mage Tower Challenge
Due to Timewalking, it is possible to use a great deal of different enhancements from previous expansions not otherwise usable in Dragonflight, though while these extra enhancements and enchants might give you a slight edge, they shouldn't be necessary to complete the challenge. As such, we'll mostly be looking at Dragonlands consumables and enchants due to their greater availability.

Best Fury Warrior Trinkets for Mage Tower Challenge
The biggest damage check is single target, though there is a lot of simultaneous multitarget, so trinkets that do both are very beneficial. Because one of the harder parts of the fight is dealing with adds happening at the same time as the shield, burst damage trinkets can be timed to maximize their effectiveness.

Best Fury Warrior Talents for Mage Tower Challenge
heading=false]
Fury Warriors have a lot of flexibility in their talents, but the encounter should generally be approached as a Mythic+ dungeon or multitarget raid encounter - focusing most of the damage on the boss, while using burst cooldowns to cleave down the smaller adds as they appear. Anger Management will help with this, by allowing much more frequent use of CDs to better align with add spawns.
Although Onslaught offers the highest sustained damage output, those having issues dealing with adds can consider swapping to Odyn's Fury instead as it is a much burstier multitarget attack.
破裂投掷
isn't strictly required, but can be very helpful in breaking through bursting through Agatha's
黑暗之怒
.
野蛮训练
is a good flex point, as Whirlwind does not make up a major amount of the overall damage done.
风暴之锤
and
破胆怒吼
are both useful for controlling adds, although killing them outright may render this control unnecessary, so take them at your own discretion.
Fury Warrior Strategy & Walkthrough for Mage Tower Challenge
This step-by-step breakdown of the Mage Tower challenge will explain the enemies and abilities during each phase, as well as helpful strategies to ensure success. As there are typically multiple ways of overcoming the challenge, feel free to use this advice as a guideline for your own attempts.
Final Stage: Agatha's Lair
Fighting the Imp Mother is a single stage encounter against
阿加莎
and the various Imps she summons. Unlike other challenges, her abilities are
almost
entirely based on timers rather than health percentage, which creates a somewhat predictable cadence to the encounter. It is considered a very hectic encounter, though the most important aspect of the fight is
control
- Agatha will fall so long as adds are dealt with properly, and success largely a matter of learning where to use cooldowns, how to position adds, and maximizing uptime while moving to keep up with the boss and avoid damaging mechanics.
阿加莎
is the main boss and primary target with only a few abilities.
暗影猛刺
is a low damage auto-attack.
阿加莎的狂怒
is a ground target effect cast at the player's feet whenever an imp dies, but is easily dodged.
黑暗之怒
applies a damage absorption shield once Agatha reaches 100 energy (roughly every 50 seconds) and channels a stacking debuff which quickly ramps up in damage. The shield must be broken before the channel can be interrupted to remove the debuff, but the shield
cannot
be broken while Umbral Imps are present.
Agatha will
teleport
to one end of the room at 50% health, and then the other at 35%. Because every other ability is based on
timers
, this makes it possible for imp spawns or Dark Fury shields to happen at the same time, making it very difficult to catch up to the boss to break the shield or deal with adds.
If you are having trouble with overlapping abilities, simply stop DPS to delay the phase transitions at 50% / 35% until the adds or shield is dealt with.
Various imps are also summoned frequently throughout the encounter, with each type presenting a unique threat which must be handled in addition to the main bosses abilities. Although they can be dangerous en masse, they are largely meant to serve as a
distraction
for the player, overwhelming them with mechanics to the point of falling behind and making a fatal mistake.
阴燃的小鬼
initially spawns in sets of three, and then mixed with other imps. They shoot fireballs at the player, adding only minor damage and serving as a
distraction
. Although they apply a stacking debuff which can ramp up damage over time, they are best ignored until you can AoE them down together with other adds, otherwise you can easily spend the entire encounter chasing Imps and falling behind on priority damage.
冒烟的小鬼
spawns one at a time and will chase the player, casting
瘟疫区域
once they reach the player and exploding into a slowing damage ground effect which persists for the rest of the encounter.
小鬼仆从
spawns two at a time, and run toward Agatha to channel a minor heal unless stunned, interrupted (the heal will restart after a short period), or killed.
阴暗小鬼
initially spawn in groups of three and then mixed with other imps, occasionally teleporting around Agatha. Because they make her (and the
黑暗之怒
shield) immune to all damage until they are killed, they are the
priority target
and set the pace of the encounter.
Although instincts may tell you to kill each imp as they spawn before returning to Agatha, this can be incredibly inefficient, and cause you to fall behind in damage due to constantly switching targets - making the encounter take longer, creating more room for errors, and potentially overwhelming you with mechanics. Because Fury Warriors have frequent high burst cooldowns and AoE attacks, an effective strategy is to passively cleave them down with
强化旋风斩
,
鲁莽
, and
破坏者
, while focusing single target damage on the most important targets.
Target Priority (lowest to highest)
Fuming Imps
spawn ~20 seconds into the encounter and every 35s after - kite them to a safe spot to drop
瘟疫区域
(usually Agatha's side, be careful because puddles slow but they can be stacked).
破胆怒吼
or
风暴之锤
can be used if one becomes badly positioned, but you shouldn't need to stop hitting the boss or waste time attacking them. That said, killing them quickly is perfectly acceptable, as long as you ensure they die before completing their cast.
Smoldering Imps
spawn around the boss at the start and mixed with other imps every 60s after - passively cleave them down with
强化旋风斩
while focusing on Agatha or other priority targets. Because they cast at the same time,
法术反射
can often reflect multiple spells at once.
阿加莎
should be the main target for most of the fight. Even when hitting other targets, cleaving damage off of or into her is important to keep working toward the end of the encounter.
Imp Servants
spawn away from the boss ~15 seconds into the encounter and every 45s after - use
英勇飞跃
and
刺耳怒吼
and focus them down. They won't always be within cleave range of one another, but as long as Agatha isn't about to use
黑暗之怒
, their cast can be temporarily interrupted.
黑暗之怒
must be broken and interrupted to stop the stacking damage and is another good place to use cooldowns or on-use trinkets in an emergency. Umbral Imps are the only higher priority target, since they will prevent the shield from being broken.
破裂投掷
can also be used to deal major damage to the shield.
Umbral Imps
spawn 60 seconds into the fight and every 60s after. Because they make Agatha immune to damage and often spawn alongside other waves of adds, they are the top priority target and a good place to use
鲁莽
,
破坏者
, and any other available cooldowns.
Fuming Imps can be kited to a safe corner in order to stack their
瘟疫区域
out of the way, if you are unable to kill them reliably.
At
50% health
, Agatha will teleport to one end of the tunnel and add two new mechanics to the encounter.
邪焰巨石
will begin dropping from the ceiling on either the left, right, or behind Agatha and roll down the hallway.
Because each one takes up 1/3 of the platform, you will want to strafe back and forth and be a little more careful about where you place
瘟疫区域
so that you do not get slowed. If they hit you, the boulders will stun and deal near-lethal damage.
邪能熔岩冲击
will now also periodically spawn beneath your feet and create temporary pools of fire - unlike Fuming Imps, these puddles do not slow and will despawn.
Aside from the added threats, this phase largely follows the same rules as the first - drop
瘟疫区域
out of the way, break and interrupt
黑暗之怒
, and AoE down Imps when Umbrals spawn. Instead of getting three Umbrals, they will now spawn combined with Smoldering and Fuming Imps, but should be largely handled in the same way. As long as Agatha's shield is dealt with, the boulders represent the only serious danger in the fight - Victory Rush procs are common enough to keep you alive through everything else.
Beware falling boulders once Agatha reaches 50% and teleports away.
At
35% health
, and every ~65 seconds after, Agatha will teleport to the other end of the hallway. At this point, you can use
刺耳怒吼
to slow any leftover Smoldering Imps and Servants to catch up and put extra damage into the boss before they get in range to cast again. Boulders will continue to drop from the same side of the tunnel, so be aware of whether they are rolling toward you or falling down on your head.
Because of the added downtime while racing to keep up with Agatha's teleporting, it is very easy to fall behind and become overwhelmed by adds. Remember the damage priority and know that a Servant healing the boss slightly or Plague Zone in a bad spot is less important than an Umbral Imp stopping you from dealing damage entirely.
It's easy to become overwhelmed! Use your cooldowns wisely to take out the important targets.
Simply repeat what you've been doing the whole time and pace your cooldowns to clean up the adds to defeat Agatha and earn the
Titanic Onslaught Armor
!

I saw someone with the armor asked if he did fury prot or arms, he said fury, he went and bought the PvP 5 marks of honor panda gladiator weapons and put crusader on them. So I did that, and one shot it lmao.

Keep getting 2 fuming imps together with every wave of umbrals right from the start and just get overwhelmed whenever timings align with servants or dark fury on top.
This page provides a nice overview of the mechanics but it's seriously flawed as a guide if the encounter isn't just bugged.

瘟疫区域
? BS always had immunity to any sort of slow without any exceptions.

I managed to do it with crusader enchant x2 and Impending Victory talent, the amount of healing you get cover all the damage, got 20k healing from Impending Victory and 13k form crusader enchant. Bit of advice, don't rush on the imp buffing the boss, os the one who put the plague on the ground and if the boss is bellow 50%, align all your cds on the big add wave. Hope that makes sense, gl !

Got it today with Fury Warrior, took a couple hours to get the hang of things. Eventually you get the timings and learn not to panic when things get hectic.
I didn't go super sweaty in terms of gear scaling, I mostly used my normal Shadow Lands gear, plus the BFA flask for extra main stat and Anima Charged Winds as a trinket since it seems to do way more damage than it should, ended up with about 900dps average at the end.
My tips:
- Impending Victory is the talent to pick IMO: You get so much healing and it refreshes every time you kill a mob, so you have it almost permantly up. In my kill, Impending Victory healed me for 51.2K.
- Bladestorm + Reckless come up almost exactly on the 60s timer when the Umbral Imps spawn, so blow both of those on the big pack and cleave into Agatha
- Leap and Piercing howl the Imp Servants when you can, but the CD for Intimidating Shout also lines up roughly. When they get feared off, they seem to take a while to go back to casting the heal so you can concetrate on on getting the damage on Agatha and cleaving it on to them as they attack you
- I got a weakaura to alert me for the Plague Zone casts so I could stop them, but honestly you slowly learn to either kill them almost imediately as they spawn, or lead them away from high traffic areas so the puddles arent a big deal.
- Tauren warstomp is also super useful as a mass stun, the 1 min lines up with a lot of mechanics

RavenKnight84
My tips:
- Just use your best Shadowlands gear, it's possible.
- Take impending victory.
- Hard focus fuming imps! I found this easy once I started to hold rampage for when the fuming is about to spawn then focus it before anything else. This really is the key. As long as you have no pools everything else dies quite fast. The channeling imps just heal boss are are not a priority till rest is dead.
- When she has her shield up I usually dps it quickly and interrupt before jumping to other mobs.
- Get DMB with the challenges extra addon to help with timing. Just keep it slow and control adds, it's hard to die once you got the rhythm.

Update 11/12/2021: I did it today at first try.... i'll explain:
1. I bought 2xpvp weapon from pandaria pvp vendor
骄矜角斗士的斩首斧
2. 2xpvp armor piece from pandaria pvp vendor: head and shoulder prideful (i think you can try without it).
3. 2x Crusader Enchant

4. This two trinket:

5. This 2x

6. Impending Victory talent
7. The remaining gear is from shadowlands, finger,waist,gloves,ecc...
Good Luck everyone!
A lot of misinformation here. The mage tower is just overtuned for shadowlands gear, i've tried 50 times with it...just impossible because at 68% agatha get damage buff with around 20-25 stacks that literally one shoot everything not metion the slow of plague, so let's be realistic without (abuse ?) of BFA/TBC gear/consumables you cannot do it.

Before they nerf it or fix it: If you have Hellscream's Decapitator up to ilvl 50 at least, stick some gems in it, get Crusader enchant, and send them to a level 1 warrior alt. Apply the enchant and send it back to your max level. :D

Trier to do IT with SL gear for around 20 tries.
Then I went to the AH, bought two 43ilv green axes, enchanted them with Crusader, equipped Heart of Azeroth and leggo cloak from 8.3 and did it second time.
Crusader still does alot after nerf.

Just done mine with 2 weapon heirlooms with Crusader enchanted, made the fight easier. A tip who going to do it, you can use
香辣隼龙蛋
. It had 98% uptime on my try. It gives 10% haste and movement speed. Which is can be handful during Challenge. Good luck folk!

I initially wasn't going to even attempt this challenge as I remember the pain from when I completed it in Legion. Looking at the reward again and getting FOMO I decided to try...
I was wiping above 90% - very rusty it seems and I no longer wanted to continue. Before completely giving up, I checked out these comments and thank you, thank you so much to everyone for the crusader enchant tip. I completed it first try with crusader enchants on Hellscream's Decapitators with Quick Owlseye gems (+6 haste). It took me 11minutes as I let the healing imps restore way too much health after the first teleport, nearly 10% -_-
Not sure if this made a difference, but I also used the blacksmithing belt from Legion, Rethu's Incessant Courage which allowed me to equip 3 more Quick Owlseye gems.
I used strength flask and haste food. I ended up with 34% haste outside of enrage.

Crusader enchant completely trivializes this encounter, even after the nerf.
For reference, i did this the day before xmas timewalking ended, this fight took me 7min 42s to complete, I cast 63 bloodthirsts that together healed for 14.3k, i cast 7 victory rushes that together healed for 9.8k.
Crusader enchant procced 133 times, and together healed for 46.6k, the strbuff had a 83% uptime.
评论来自
Bucck
with the second crusader nerf (86% reduced healing, 14% reduced str; obviously no encounters were nerfed as compensation), this is a much different challenge than in December after the first nerf. crusader barely heals more than bloodthirst, so just a heads up this is obviously still very doable, but isn’t a joke oneshot anymore.

I did most of the challenges in legion and this was my third timewalking one, and by far the easiest. I have never taken my warrior seriously and had never activated fury as a spec before trying this challenge. I got absolutely destroyed in here at first, but crusader is still disturbingly powerful, as is the beating abomination core. Both surpassed impending victory and bloodthirst in healing done, which is saying a lot given how many mistakes i made. I completed it on my second night of casual attempts, and used garrosh heirlooms with crusader, ghost iron whelp, and 226 catchups gear from zereth mortis without any care for their stats. I used drums once she past 50% to get her into execute range asap once the flame balls start rolling.
If i can do it, anybody reading this can do it, just take it slow and expect to wipe while you learn the timings. /target macros for the different kind of imps help, even when cleaving sometimes you just gotta get them dead, this is an endurance fight and not a race.
Best of luck to anyone reading this.

It took me 35 tries but Jesus H. Christ I finally did it.
On the first night I did 32 tries and almost started crying. Next morning I tried again with a fresh head and it took me only 3 times.
I'm writing this mostly for people who have read other tips/guides, but still weren't able to get through the encounter, meaning you more or less know the mechanics
already.
I've seen a lot of people use different set of talents and items and sadly most of the time some of those weren't enough for me after all the nerfs, so I came up
with my own talents which I was most comfortable with.
-From talents I used
2
,
2
,
1
,
2
,
3
,
3
,
2
(talents 15, 25, 30, 35 etc).
-Also using "Deadly Boss Mods (DBM) - Challenges (Mage Tower/Torghast)" addon from CurseForge helped immensely, to keep up with Boss cooldowns. Set boss
your focus so you could keep up with her energy all the time so you would know when her next shield would come and you wouldn't waste your
Pummel
.
-From gear I didn't change a lot, I kept all of my shadowlands gear except swapped my necklace to
Heart of Azeroth
, used 2 Heirloom Upgrade level 0/5 2h Weapons
Repurposed Lava Dredger
and added Crusader enchant on both weapons.
-From consumables I used
Spectral Flask of Power
,
Veiled Augment Rune
,
Banana Beef Pudding
and don't forget to use your
Battle Shout
! Also later on during
the fight (around 30% boss hp) I used
Drums of Fury
, which significantly depleted boss health.
* For me it felt like I got more value with
Sudden Death
and
Massacre
combo, being able to finish mobs off faster with low cooldown and lucky refresh.
* As most people have already said,
Impending Victory
is very neat and super handy since It refresher after each mob kill and heals you pretty much fully.
* Try to focus those bastard
Fuming imps
, it is very important to get them down as soon as possible, since they are the reason you might lose most of the time
thanks to an unlucky pool placement. I even made a macro to spot them easier among all the other imps that can spawn:
/tar Fuming
* Keep your
Bladestorm
for
Umbral imps
whenever they spawn (remember to hardfocus Fuming Imps among them). You can also use
Spell Reflect
to reflect
damage done by
Smoldering imps
, even though they should die relatively fast by your Bladestorm whenever they spawn with Umbral Imps
* Use your
Heroic Leap
to jump next to 2
Imp Servants
and use
Piercing Howl
to slow them, then use
Recklessness
to quickly end them
* Alot of times
Agatha
gets a shield, all the imps spawn making her immune, and Imp Servants spawn aswell. Who do you focus then?
Personally I focused all of the imps (1. Fuming Imps, 2. Umbral Imps, 3. Smoldering Imps) with my Bladestorm (later on dodging boulders at the same time), then rid
the boss of her shield and interrupt her and lastly the Imp Servants. If things get too hard, then use your
Intimidating Shout
, but do try to keep it for Umbral Imps
when things seem to get out of control to cancel their heal.
After some trial and error you should get the hang of the timings and making sure you use your cd-s on the right mobs at the right time. As they say, practice makes perfect!
I agree that this encounter was harder than necessary (mostly all the mobs spawning at once, including boss shield), but that's why it's called a challenge and in the
end it was honestly worth the cool set.

Did this during 9.2, so after the crusader nerf:
what still helps a lot is bladestorm for the big add wave. Use this directly at the beginning of the fight with recklessness + angermanagement talent.
Whenever the 2 healing adds are coming, jump to them, slow shout, if you miss one, harm string and bring one down. Harm string the other and they should be dead. If you get trouble here, maybe use recklessness here instead of the beginning. Try not to ignore the explosion adds, but they can be postponed when you jump back to slow the heal adds.
The seed trinket is awesome for either the heal add waves or the big wave. It depends on your damage, but maybe chose either seed or recklessness for each of these waves. You have to test it out yourself. You can either use drums at the beginning or during phase 2 after the second teleport. But Id rather use it as a "oh sh*t" option when something goes wrong and you need dmg, e.g. shield + caster + heal adds and you are behind etc. Another option is to use it after the first teleport, so youll get into execute range soon.
The explosion adds are really annoying and I cant give a good way to handle them. You can let them explode themsveles at the side of the map, but if three or more are at Agatha's spot, it probably will cost you the try.
Most of the useful stuff is already written by other users, so in the end I can just say. Try to find out, when you need to use your Damage CDs. If something is annoying for you, use it then. Its a marathon and damage on Agatha is secondary. The important part is to get rid of the mechanics like adds and her shield etc.

Did it today 07/05/2022 on my 9th attempt.
Talents: Sudden Death, Impending Victory, Massacre, Warpaint, Cruelty, Bladestorm, Anger Management.
Highly recommend
Spiced Falcosaur Omelet
, permanent 10% haste and movement speed since you will kill at least one imp every minute. Used current flask/sharpening stones, no potion but did pop drums at 35%.
I had 5 gems total across my gear, one from a legendary and 4 from using the garrosh heirloom axes (2 sockets each), I couldn't use crusader so I just used sinful revelation and celestial guidance.
I made the
Fuming Imps
my
highest priority
, don't worry too much about the 2 imps that spawn and channel the healing beam, you can just fear shout them every second spawn or so and cleave them down.
Keep Bladestorm ready for the umbral imp spawns, and get ready to impending victory chain when things get hectic.

Tactic:
Odyn's Fury and Recklessness:
First, it is really important to manage your best abilites for the imps. AoE spells are the key! I used most of the time
奥丁之怒
and
鲁莽
(with Titan's Torment talent) everytime when Agatha spawned tons of imps around. Most of the time I did not care about damaging the Agatha. Patience here is very important, do not use both
奥丁之怒
and
鲁莽
in the same time, if you do not have another AoE spells like me. Keep always some AoE spell in ready to cast, because sometime it can save your life. To kill her it took me 13 minutes.
I also used
macro
to cast for
鲁莽
,
狂怒战鼓
,
无拘之怒药水
,
天神下凡
at the same time
. This is good that you do not need to bother on clicking them anymore. Every second is important and this is also removing your distraction to finding them on your bar.
Macro:
/cast Recklessness
/cast Avatar
/use 13
/use 14
/use drums of fury
/use Potion of unbridled fury
Storm Bolt:
Very useful is
风暴之锤
agains
冒烟的小鬼
. This imp was also
number one to kill
everytime. I created a macro, that Storm Bolt always targeting the imp. This for me was very helphul because I did not need to manually target the imp (even in the chaos when there were multiple imps at once).
Macro:
/tar Fuming Imp
/cast Storm Bolt
Whirlwind:
I also used similar macro for my
旋风斩
agains
阴暗小鬼
,
my second most important targets
. When I saw 5 or more imps, I used
奥丁之怒
or
鲁莽
(only one at the time).
Rampage:
Keep spamming
暴怒
! I also added here the macro for
法术反射
.
Macro:
/cast Spell Reflection
/cast rampage
Pummel:
About Agatha, you must only be carefull about her shield and cast. You must as soon as possible to destroy it and
拳击
her, or you will die by massive damage from her. Again I used macro. Never use
拳击
on the imps, which are healing her! Like I said before, patience here is very important and nuking her = death for you.
Macro:
/tar Agatha
/cast pummel
I
mpending Victory and another healing:
附魔武器 - 十字军
still doing great job even when it's nerfed. Also use
嗜血
as often as possible.
胜利在望
(good mention is, it resets CD when you kill imp) I used it only few times, mostly in the chaos (5 and more imps spawned at once). My experience is -> not to panic, when you're overhelm by imps, thats why I mention before, keep at least one AoE spell always ready!
Movement:
Last important thing. Keep moving! Never stay in one position or you will get massive damage or hit by a ball. When you learn the scheme, it is like a dancing, so first you must get little bit use to it.
Overall I had around 11800hp and strength 519 without buffs.
I hope this will help you to get your Transmog. Preparation for battle is needed! Without it, you will not make it. Good luck! :-)

I decided to take this challenge on recently to get bear form and the mount. I completed 6 of them in 10.1.7 and the healer challenge just after 10.2 dropped. On each of the challenge pages it listed what is considered the easiest spec, which is what I used for each:
The Highlord's Return: Guardian Druid took me less than 10 attempts
Feltotem's Fall: BM Hunter (main) took me less than 10 attempts. I had completed all 3 Hunter challenges (Feltotem, Highlord, and the twins) in Legion and was familiar with these 3 fights already.
Thwarting the Twins: Frost Mage took me about 50 attempts
Closing the Eye: Havoc DH took me about 40 attempts
An Impossible Foe: Fury Warrior took me about 60 attempts
The God-Queen's Fury: Ret Paladin took me about 10 attempts
End of the Risen Threat: Mistweaver Monk took me about 30 attempts because I was interrupting at the wrong time in phase 1… only took me 3 attempts after making it past phase 1.
General Tips:
All characters were equipped in full 402 Time Rift and Dream Surge gear, Time Rift trinkets, and the 415 Dream Surge weapons. I did DF enchants and used DF flask and Sharpening stones on each attempt. Used feral hide drums as well but no DPS pots or food.
First and foremost, this is about the mechanics. Your primary focus should be to understand how to respond to each mechanic and be able to each one accordingly. Most mechanics are unforgiving.
I highly recommend creating a new talent loadout and moving spells/abilities you don’t need out of the way. Checkout your class specific talent recommendations, there are some common talents that you don’t need, like group utility and some often unused talents that can be very helpful like fury warrior Wrecking Throw. Mistweaver recommended a different build for each phase, which was very helpful.
Ensure that your main abilities (defensives and DPS CD's) are key bound or readily available to see/manage CDs and to use them in a timely fashion. For fury I had 2 DPS CD macros, one with Spear and Avatar and the other with Ravager and Reckless. Spear and Reckless I did as I was always positioning myself to deal with the adds.
Use macros where you can. For The Twins, I used a /target macro with Comet Storm to quickly switch to Hands and to generally saved that CD to drop quick DPS on the hands. For ret paladin I used with Hammer of Justice.
Turn off music and ambience noise. Turn up dialog. Turn sound effects down. These challenges emote their effects really well and can help you respond. You can of course use DBM and timers to manage the mechanics, I used DBM and tried to watch upcoming mechanics timers too, but most of the time, hearing the callout was good to "click the button" that responded to it (interupt, switch target, DPS CD, defensive CD, etc).
Use Plater addon, especially for An Impossible Foe. I didn’t use it until this challenge, but I found myself struggling to find the right imps to focus and to manage their HP. This really helped.
Most challenges require you to be able to execute your rotation and do decent DPS to beat the clock (mechanics overwhelming you).
I am a hunter main. Other than that, I'm average at best on all of the other classes. I used the Hekili addon to help me manage my rotations during the fights. I generally ignored DPS CDs as those are usually saved to manage certain mechanics/adds.
Don’t give up. They are all doable. Take breaks, if you are failing, especially to execute a mechanic a few times in a row revisit the guide or a youtube tutorial, maybe you're missing something. It's simply about learning the mechanics and then getting into the routine to respond to them, like any raid progression… as you get farther into fights you have less attempts on the new mechanics so master them one at a time.
Fury Tips:
Use Plater addon!
It says to you can cleave fuming imps, that's mostly true when it's just one fuming imp and nothing else going on. If you have more than one imp out you should manage fuming imps quickly.
Pickup Wrecking throw and macro it to /target Agatha.
Pickup Odyn's Fury and save it for the imp packs.
Create 2 DPS CD macros, one with Spear and Avatar and the other with Ravager and Reckless. Spear and Reckless I did as I was always positioning myself to deal with the adds.
Don't fall off the back of the cave... I was at 10% and fell of avoiding a boulder.

For me it was much more harder than Arms challenge. Do not know why people recommending fury as easiest. My estimate is like Tank challenge for me it was not easy 50-80 attempts
I was having Shockwave and waiting for those healing imps to arrive I was dming Agatha. Then you position yourself facing in front of Agatha and behind those imps and use it, you should stun both. I think it helped me limit her healing. I know people are doing it that they go to the back of the room and kill those before they arrive. But to me it felt like i was loosing so much dps on the boss.
Use raveger on healing Imps sometimes you explosive as well in it + sometimes you do not even have focus them you aoe them because improved Ravager do it is job
Use Odyn fury on shadow shield + use spell reflect
Use
残缺的种荚
with those shield mobs, but i went almost on CD
Use Avatar to break her shield. I have the Shattering throw to kill bubble but that long cast could be harmful if she spawn pool on you + you still need to cast pummel on her even if you break it by this spell
Second tip is to use Heirlooms swords with enchanted crusader (create heirloom sword + send crusader enchant to lvl 1 alt apply and send it back to War). I was just having some green sword from DF. And it felt like i do not have dmg. I was having 5th shield cast on and was like 85% of her. With those swords and crusader I was having same progress on her with 3rd shadow shield only.
Use full buff I recommends
Spiced Falcosaur Omelet
and
Sylvan Elixir
. Also i use from ICC 25 trinket recommends by Time walking spreadsheet
瓶中的小憎恶
Explosive imps do with macro and stun Storm Bolt. also if you feel you are overwhelmed and you do not have time. Just start runnig around her and cleave. They will fall by cleav, but if they do not chase you down they will detonate. And to me this the real problem if you detonated them for example where those healing imps arrived you just slow yourself dmg yourself and it just sux. So try to aim to 0 poison pool in first phase. If you have it i would start over.
Feel the rhythm of the movement in the last phase. Recommends to stand in middle of her not in front of her. Because you are dropping those green pools, but it is harder to catch those boulders.
