Welcome to Wowhead's guide about the
魅夜王庭
, a faction available primarily to Night Fae Covenant members who have built up their Anima Conductors.
魅夜王庭
reputation can only be built using features opened by Heart of the Forest Anima Conductor streams at tiers 1, 2, and 3.
While other Covenants can earn Court of Night reputation, it's much slower for them, as they can only get the faction based on the two Enemy Champion quests (500 each). Enemy Foe requires that a Night Fae Covenant member summon; the Powerful Foe can appear other times, but it's easier with a Night Fae channeling to take down his dodge buff. Night Fae have many more options, and with a fully developed Anima conductor, they can build reputation much more easily.
At Friendly, Honored, Revered, and Exalted reputations, Night Fae Covenant members can also buy cloak and armor transmogs, companion pets, Soulshapes, and mounts!

About the Court of Night
The
魅夜王庭
represents the inner circle of the Winter Queen's closest advisors, including prominent members of the Wild Hunt, Droman leaders representing various regions of Ardenweald, and other important contributors to their fight against the Drust and the anima drought.
For your assistance in their battles, they will bestow valuable rewards on those players willing to sacrifice their time and energy for their cause.
Only members of the Night Fae Covenant may build reputation with

.
It requires developing up to a tier 2 Anima Conductor, revealing treasures and quests only accessible by Night Fae members.

Gaining Reputation with the
魅夜王庭
You gain
魅夜王庭
reputation four ways. All require different levels of the Anima Conductor to be active in your Sanctum, and require directing the Anima flow to one of four areas. Two require a tier 1 Anima Conductor, and the other two require a Tier 2 (none require Tier 3).
You can only complete these when the Anima Conductor is actively streaming to the required part of the zone.
Open Special Treasures (500 Rep)

The treasure at Glitterfall Basin is the
大型月光之荚
, which requires a little work to open. It's just north of the Glitterfall Basin flight point, marked with a white treasure chest icon at /way 51.7, 32.4. It's semi-transparent at first, and although it has an interaction gear wheel when you mouse over it, you can't open it yet.
You will need to run over five
Lunarlight Buds
in the area and return to the
大型月光之荚
to open. The treasure itself can yield vendor greys, anima, a few blue-quality gear items, and Queen's Conservatory items. Many

Defeat an Enemy Foe (500 Rep)
Requires:
Tier 1 Anima Conductor
Stream to:
Dreamsong Fenn

This opens the ability to summon an enemy rare through
滑露
in the Star Lake Amphitheater at /way 41.5, 44.8.
滑露
may only be activated by a Night Fae Covenant through this method, but anyone can help with the "performance" (ie. killing the summoned mob). This comes in the form of a Night Fae member "playing" a the role of a familiar enemy such as
光尘，饰演吉安娜
or
尼娅，饰演萨维斯
, and you and your party defeating this play. After defeating this encounter, you will be awarded 500
魅夜王庭
reputation.
You can do this fight as many times as you want, but
滑露
will only summon one enemy per day, and each player can only get loot and reputation once per day (for reputation, it doesn't matter if the "play" is a rerun). However, you can be nice and summon this for non-Night Fae covenant members who want to complete the achievement or earn the rewards listed below.
In addition to gaining
魅夜王庭
reputation, you'll be working toward the achievement
炽蓝仙野的舞台
, to complete all eight "plays" available through this encounter. In addition, you can visit

, who sells various items that unlock after completing certain numbers of plays, including pets, another Soulshape, weapon and cloak transmogs, pets, and the
丝柔烁光蛾
mount!

Open World Quest (1000 Rep)
Requires:
Tier 2 Anima Conductor
Stream to:
Tirna Naal
Rewards:
1000 reputation

This opens an extra World Quest. Completing this specific quest will reward the reputation, along with whatever other prizes you'll get from completing the quest itself. This will rotate from day to day.
Open Daily Quests (1000 Rep)
Requires:
Tier 2 Anima Conductor
Stream to:
Hibernal Hollow
Rewards:
2x 750 reputation

. Each quests yields 750 reputation, but there will be 2 available per cycle of your Anima stream for a total of 1500 reputation possible per day. If you have reinforced the Hibernal Hollow stream, it will give 2 rotating daily quests per day.
Kill a Powerful Foe (500 Rep)

The trick with
冷酷的瓦尔菲尔
is that he has a defensive spell,
雾纱
, that gives him a 200% increased chance to dodge attacks, making him far more difficult to kill -- on the level of a world raid boss. The Night Fae Covenant member who has streamed the Anima Conductor will be able to see and interact with a
Sparkling Animaseed
. This will get an extra action button for
心能之种闪光
. Use this against Valfir, remove the damage shield, and take him down!
Despite reports to the contrary, it's possible to get the best drop, the
野生烁裘徘徊者
mount, without removing the damage shield -- however, the drop rate is reportedly 100% with the damage shield removed.
Anyone can kill Valfir and get his 500 reputation with Court of Night.
Maximizing Reputation Gains for the Court of Night
Anima Conductors only allow one stream to be opened per day, and the stream will expire on server reset. Once you have opened ten streams, you can reinforce a stream so it remains open at all times, but until then, you will need to prioritize.
If have a Tier 2 Anima Conductor, order these accordingly. If you only have a Tier 1 conductor, start with #3. If you are actively working on this reputation, this also suggests an order for reinforcing your streams:
Hibernal Hollow - Daily Quests
: 2 quests for 750 reputation each yield up to 1500 reputation per day. Best possible daily reputation reward from one area.
Tirna Naal - World Quest
: 1 world quest yields 1000 reputation per day.
Dreamsong Fenn - Defeat Enemy Foe
: Kill the enemy in the "play" for 500 reputation per day. If you can handle this fight, this also counts toward an achievement and also counts toward fights you can use to buy prizes from

Glitterfall Basin - Treasure
: Also 500 reputation per day, easier than Dreamsong Fenn, but has less synergy with other goals. You do have a chance to earn some item, including some Queen's Conservatory bits.
During Darkmoon Faire, you can also increase your reputation gains by 10% with

, or by wearing a

(these don't stack).

Why is the Rep not showing up anywhere? I earned some, I can see the text 'Reputation with Court of Night increased by 500'
But when I check the Rep Tab, It's just not there?

Strangely enough you gain points for this reputation even if you're not from Night Fae covenant when you kill Valfir or the mob in the amphitheater. Still don't know if you could have access to the quartermaster without NF covenant though.

Why do I even have this reputation bar without being night fae? it's gonna take me forever to fill and im not even sure how..

So, there's no paragon chest for this rep? i've reached Exalted and there's no bag icon at the end of the bar like other reps

I just looked at the the rewards from the quartermaster and the Umbral Scythehorn and Winterborn Runestag are both 5000 anima now instead of 3500 :(

Getting this reputation to exalted didn't count for my 90 Exalted Reputations achievement
