Noodle Time and Noodle Time Bonus Scenario Guide
Noodle Time and Noodle Time Bonus
Pick up both quests from
in the Halfhill Market. Talk to her again to begin the solo scenario.
As you begin the scenario, NPC's will begin to run in. They must be seated individually at one of the four tables around the room and then given their appropriate food in order to maximize their point value. They must also be seated and served within a certain time frame, or they will give up on your noodle cart stand and leave. Five patrons leaving will cause a failed scenario and no tokens.
Wearing light teal blue attire. They want your hotkey 1 soup
Wearing dark blue attire. They want your hotkey 2 soup
Dragon's Nest Noodle Soup
Wearing red attire and a hat. They want your hotkey 3 soup
Pandaren Treasures Noodle Soup
These descriptions are important because the idea is to start cooking their food as you see them begin to run in. Knowing which food goes with which NPC will increase your score with each one. This will ensure you complete the scenario within the allotted five minute time frame.
Although technically, these are different NPC's altogether from the ones listed above, they are the same with a couple of possible conditional modifiers that will determine how you handle them as they enter the room.
Any of the three NPC's listed above can enter the room as "hungry". A hungry patron is one who will simply have to be served twice instead of just once for the normal version. This will be visually evident from the red glow emanating from their abdomen area as they enter the room.
Any of the three NPC's listed above can enter the room as "impatient". An impatient patron will have a shorter timer than the normal version both for being seated and for being served. This will be visually evident from the running trail behind them much like a feral druid's Dash ability. Don't stress though. This guide will make this mechanic largely irrelevant as you will be seating and serving all NPC's efficiently enough to avoid anyone leaving.
Mechanics and Winning.
The important thing to remember is that just like the original game that led to this scenario, multitasking wins the day. Minimizing wait time for your patrons and maximizing efficiency for yourself is the key.
1. Begin cooking the appropriate food as the NPC begins to run in.
2. While the soup is cooking, click on the NPC to gain his/her acknowledgement (they /wave at you) and then seat them.
3. While they are running to their seat you assigned them to, pick up the soup you just created as it finishes cooking and get ready to throw it to them.
Serving the Hungry
A. If the NPC running in has the red glow of hunger, this will require cooking twice for them. Cook the first round, then seat them. While they are running to their seat, begin cooking the second round immediately after the first round finishes. Throw them the first round and the second round will complete and be waiting on your table when the NPC becomes available for the second round.
B. While you are waiting for your hungry patron to become ready for seconds, another NPC will enter the room and you will need to cook for them following steps 1-3 above.
C. While that NPC is running to their seat, pick up their food and get ready to throw it to them.
D. Serve the NPC you just seated, and by then your hungry NPC will be ready to be served seconds.
Serving the Impatient
Once you master following the steps above, this mechanic is completely negated from the scenario because you are ultimately serving each patron as though they were impatient. If you do get behind, however, watch for Impatient NPC's as their timers for both seating and service are shorter than everyone else and they will leave quicker.
Following the steps of this guide will get both Noodle Time and Noodle Time Bonus completed successfully each day without fail. The points system is designed as such that if all of these factors are done correctly, you can't help but win. However, the actual amount of time it takes to complete the scenario from day to day will be a bit RNG dependent in that chaining bonuses will only be gained when you have back to back hungry NPC's to serve. When you complete the scenario in 3:49 one day and 4:30 the next day, this is why. You will always finish in under five minutes, but the actual time will vary depending on how your NPC's line up as they enter the room.

Very succinct and effective guide, thank you! I failed to meet the bonus objective my first time through, but this should make it a cinch tomorrow. :)
edit: It did! Successful shift at the Noodle Cafe completed.
I had no idea this was an event, but after reading, sounds like a Diner Dash event, I'll be trying this. Thanks for the guide.
I find it also helps a bunch to have Friendly nameplates on, you can simply read what each customer is.
This guide helped a lot with it was able to complete the Noodle Time: Bonus on my second try.
This guide is missing one very essential mechanic:
The best H scenario so far!
So fun and addicting!
