When you first start a new set of heroics, it can be a little overwhelming to open up the in-game achievement list and be greeted with all 42 achievements incomplete.
What's worse is when you get teleported into a random dungeon and start sifting through the list trying to find the ones for your instance while everyone else is impatient to start pulling.
Hopefully that's where this guide can help out a little.
Now that you're here with one click you can see your instance, all it's achievements, and the bosses to which they're tied. With each achievement there are short descriptions or guides written by others who have completed them in case you want a few pointers.
To make things a litle easier each instance has it's achievements listed in order of the bosses you face from start to finish to help you complete all the achievements in as few runs as possible.
*Any guides and suggestions for individual achievements you'd like to add, it is best to add them to the Wowhead page for the achievement it's self (links in the tabs).
This way peoples contributions can be kept as a resouce in both places and seen by more people without me making dozens of posts and crediting them to the original authors.*
Dungeons -
Glory of the Pandaria Hero
Polyformic Acid Trip
Defeat bosses around Pandaria while under the effects of Polyformic Acid Potion on Heroic Difficulty.
Additional Tips
Commander Ri'mok
- Gate of the Setting Sun
Gu Cloudstrike
- Shado-Pan Monastery
Vizier Jin'bak
- Siege of Niuzao Temple
Liu Flameheart
- Temple of the Jade Serpent
Trial of the King
- Mogu'shan Palace
Yan-Zhu the Uncasked
- Stormstout Brewery
An easily overlooked achievement which is part of the meta and will stall your progress if you don't start it early.
The Polymorphic Acid Potion needed to gain this transformation is found in Scholomance after having defeated Professor Slate, and once used gives you a one hour buff. It's with this buff that you must face and defeat the above mentioned bosses.
Slate will now also drop an empty flask for players when they kill him, allowing you to store your transformation for later when you encounter the appropriate boss, so dont forget to fill your flask when ever you kill him.
Gate of the Setting Sun
Bomberman
Trigger 15 explosions within 15 seconds during the Saboteur Kip'tilak encounter in Gate of the Setting Sun on Heroic Difficulty.
Saboteur Kip'tilak
Additional Tips
Kip'tilak spawns 3 explosive charges randomly in the room at timed intervals, and detonates all charges in the room at at 60% and 30% health.
A good way to explode 15 at once is to hold your dps and wait for him to throw out all 15 charges on the floor, you can avoid setting these off prematurly by taking
Sabotage
to the corners. Then take him to 60% and allow his World in Flames ability to detonate all 15 at once.
If your group has trouble avoiding premature detonation of the bombs in the room, those with sabotage can run into the alcoves by the doors of the room to limit the spread of flames.
Not so stable munitions.
Conscriptinator
Gain three stacks of Resin Residue by defeating Mantid Conscripts in Gate of the Setting Sun on Heroic
Mantid Conscript
Additional Tips
After you have defeated Commander Ri'mok the wall and gate starts to get destroyed by Raigonn.
If you run back along the crumbling wall towards the start of the instance you will find the three Mantid Conscripts battling against the wall guards. They aren't especially hard to kill, but if you take too long about it they will stack their enrage to a point where they will begin to kill your tank.
Provided you have the dps to kill them before this happens, the debuff is almost unavoidable, on death the Conscripts throws down a puddle of resin debuffing you with
Resin Residue
.
The debuff has a duration of two minutes, and because it stacks and refreshes you have plenty of time to kill a second and third Conscript before it expires.
Not a bug.
Mantid Swarm
Defeat Raigonn without killing any of the Mantid reinforcements.
Raigonn
Additional Tips
Fairly straight forward with either a moderatly geared tank, or four dps and a little luck.
During phase one of the fight Raigonn will periodicly summon one of three sets of adds to join the fight. Flying Engulfers which spawn tornados, one large Swarm Bringer casting swarm dots, or eight small Protectorate melee dps.
The order in which these reinforcements arrive is random, so it's possible to get a set of flying adds first which dont require tanking. This would give you time to pop cd's and burst down the vulnerability on his head and take you into phase two, during which adds stop spawning making life a lot easier.
Otherwise off-tanking a few adds in the fight is simple enough as the boss requires no main tank in either phase.
So long as your group focus their dps on Raigon and ignore any reinforcements you shouldn't have any trouble.
At the moment the achievement tracks the swarms of bugs that fly in the area as reinforcements as well, so it's imperitive you kill nothing at all other than the boss.
Mogu'shan Palace
Quarrelsome Quilen Quintet
Collect all the Jade Quilen located throughout Mogu'Shan Palace on Heroic Difficulty.
Jade Quilen
Additional Tips
This is similar to
Extra Credit Bonus Stage
in Vortex Pinnacle. The difference here being that they are far smaller and harder to see (about the size of a non-combat pet), and are usually guarded by trash through the instance.
Once found they simply need to be 'looted' and the instance will update the number found on screen.
They are targetable from a short distance, but don't currently appear on the minimap.
A few of the locations found so far:
Across the far side of the room in which you enter, in the alcove, behind the wall to the left.
Beside Kuai the Brute in the Trial of the King room
In an alcove down the hidden steps just before the glintrock scout
Around on the right side of the Balcony before Gekkan.
In the right hand room, along the corridor as you approach the last boss. On top of the central large green Quilen Statue at the back of the room (the orb destroys the statue).
/Target Jade Quilen
Glintrok N' Roll
Defeat Gekkan and his Glintrok entourage in Mogu'shan Palace on Heroic difficulty within 5 minutes of being spotted by the Glintrok Scout.
Gekkan
Additional Tips
Straight forward dps race to get through the trash and the boss in five minutes.
If you're looking for an easy shortcut, the balcony railing above Gekan can be jumped over with a little patience allowing you to skip a few trash mobs, though ofc this lands you straight into combat, so allow your tank to go first.
The only real obstacle, other than the level of dps needed, is keeping the Glintrock Ironhide either cc'd or off-tanked so that he's not buffing the other adds during the boss fight.
If you get unlucky and Gekkan chooses to free him first you will lose a lot of dps if you keep him grouped with the other adds as he reduces their damage taken by 50%
What Does This Button Do?
Use Xin the Weaponmaster's secret defense mechanism against him in Mogu'shan Palace on Heroic difficulty.
Xin the Weaponmaster
Additional Tips
This is one of the hardest achievements so far so I will go into a bit of detail for how to complete it.
During your encounter with Xin he will activate several traps in the room. Starting with Axes as you engage him, Blades as he reaches 66% health, and Crossbows at 33%.
When these crossbow traps activate, two crystals will spawn along with them in their mouths, roughly 30 seconds appart. One in the Front Left of the room, and one at the Back Right of the room.
You'll know when this happens as you will see the emote of 'You hear a faint clicking noise...'
When a crystal is clicked on by a player they will begin the activation of the defense mechanism.
The trick here is that both crystals need to be clicked within a short time of each other, so you will need 2 sepearte people to count down and click at the same time, whilst dodging any incoming damage that might kill them.
"It's a trap!"
Scarlet Halls
Humane Society
Defeat Houndmaster Braun without killing any hounds in Scarlet Halls on Heroic Difficulty.
Houndmaster Braun
Additional Tips
The part that makes this achievement slightly more difficult than it first seems, is that it counts all dogs within the instance, not just the 4 you encounter while fighting Braun.
Braun himself summons four hounds during the fight at 90%,80%,70% and 60% health, and enrages himself at 50%, so completing the final part of this achievement can be done with little planning and just effective chaining of tank and healer cooldowns.
What you may find slightly harder, especially during a pug, is avoiding the trash leading up to him.
When you enter the instance you'll find a few buckets of Meaty Dog Food in the instance (three at the start and three after the archers).
If you pick one up and you'll gain
携带桶
, if you then throw the bucket at a Vigilant Watchman you can buff him with
美味
and his dogs will turn on him and kill him.
Once the 4 dogs have eaten their handler, they'll walk away and fall asleep. The problem is, if you have hasty dps they'll start to attack the dogs and spoil all your work. So simply explain to them that no one needs to attack anything before the archers and you should be fine.
Tasty Vigilant Watchman
Mosh Pit
Get a combination of 8 players and Scarlet Defenders caught up in Armsmaster Harlan's Blades of Light in Scarlet Halls on Heroic Difficulty.
Armsmaster Harlan
Additional Tips
During the boss encounter Harlan will jump to the middle of the room and cast
Blades of Light
. Once cast he proceedes to spin around the room, following the steps up to the door, then back down to the middle of the room.
While whirling he will suck up any players or npc's in his path and slowly kill them, very similar to Al'akir's squall line.
While this achievement doesn't specificly state it, the achievement here is to have 8 of the Scarletet Defenders that join the fight
killed
by Harlan's Blades of Light, and doing so can be done one or two at a time untill you reach 8 total.
You dont need to try and have all 8 caught at once, and trying to do so will cause excessive damage to your tank.
The easiest way to do this, is to simply tank Harlan and pick up his adds by the door from which you enter.
As Harlan jumps to the center of the room, you have plenty of time to watch and prepare as he makes his way up towards you. When he starts to approach, simply jump off the edge into the center of the room. Doing so will leave the Defenders stuck in his path and caught in his Blades of Light. Simply repeat this untill you have had 4 waves of adds consumed, then kill the boss.
Blades of
fire
Light.
Scarlet Monastery
Empowered Spiritualneur
Defeat Thalnos the Soulrender while three Empowered Zombies are alive.
Thalnos the Soulrender
Additional Tips
During the encounter Thalnos will periodicly cast
Raise Fallen Crusader
. The Crusaders raised are easily defeated, however Thalnos will later summon
Empowered Spirits
to inhabit the bodies of the fallen, and raise them as an
Empowered Zombies
.
As the Fallen Crusaders are killed, the tank can move Thalnos away from the bodies so that the summoned spirits travel slightly further before they reach the dead, and therefore the resulting Zombie is a little further away from any accidental aoe.
At this point the summoned Zombie can be shackled, rooted, repentanced etc untill the end of the fight, otherwise they can simply be picked up and tanked untill Thalnos dies. Once the third Zombie ihas spawned you can proceed to kill Thalnos which ends the fight and despawns any adds.
Braaaaiiiiinnnnns...
Burning Man
Cause Brother Korloff to light six nearby training dummies on fire, and then defeat him, in Scarlet Monastery on Heroic Difficulty.
Brother Korloff
Additional Tips
In the courtyard where Korloff patrols there are 6 training dummies, two sets of three either side of the area, roughly 100 yards apart.
There are several of Korloff's fire attacks you can use to light the dummies but his passive ability of spawning pools of fire will not light them.
During the fight Korloff uses the ability
Blazing Fists
on the tank, this conal attack can be used to ignite the dummies if turned from side to side slightly, however it will result in a little more tank damage as they will have to stay in it while lighting dummies.
His other main attack is to cast
Flying Kick
at the furthest player from him (within 40 yards), followed by
Firestorm Kick
. If well positioned one fire kick can light all 3 dummies on one side and lessens the need to move the boss making it a slightly more efficient choice
Needless to say, which ever way you choose, you'll want to clear the whole area first.
Poor guys never stood a chance.
And Stay Dead!
Allow High Inquisitor Whitemane to cast Mass Resurrection, defeat all revived Scarlet Judicators, and then defeat Whitemane in Scarlet Monastery on Heroic Difficulty.
High Inquisitor Whitemane
Additional Tips
Another one of the hardest achievements for the meta.
When you enter the Cathedral at the end of the instance, start by clearing out all the trash from the building, you'll want the extra space and any additional trash pulled during the fight could easly cause some deaths.
When you clear the room, to the left of the altar you should see the bodies of several Scarlet Judicators. It is these that you will be required to kill during the fight for the achievement. An important point to note here is that Whitemane needs to remain alive untill all the Defenders are killed, otherwise the achievement will be failed.
Once you encounter Commander Durand the fight proceeds just as normal. You kill Durand, Whitemane appears, you damage her, she resurects him and you fight both at once.
The key to this achievement is timing when you want to let Whitemane cast Mass Resurrection. Too early and you'll end up fighting Durand and all the resurrected Judicators at once.
To stop this you need to make sure you kill Commander Durand first, and keep interrupting Mass Resurrection untill he dies. With only Whitemane left alive, you can now allow her to fully cast her Resurrect and bring all the Judicators to life.
The best way to engage and kill this new mass of elites is to get your tank to perform some AoE and gather them all on him for a moment while using all defensive cooldowns.
Unfortunatly if you attempt to tank all these adds you will likely die as they can stun and do high damage. Therefor as soon as the tank has all the Judicators gathered it is important that the rest of the group use their most powerful slows, stuns, and knock backs on the adds untill they are all killed.
At this point you can finish off Whitmane and complete the achievement.
We have your hat.. again.
Scholomance
Attention to Detail
Defeat Jandice Barov without ever eliminating a false image in Scholomance on Heroic Difficulty.
Jandice Barov
Additional Tips
A very intersting and unique achievement. It ends up being one large game of spot the difference.
When you engage Jandice, take a few seconds to study her appearance. Her portrait has her with black hair, a vey slighltly glowing face, and a plain grey head band, and on further inspection you can see she wears a grey belt, and black leggings.
With these small details you can now pick out the correct Jandice when she splits and fills the room.
Some of her images have grey hair, so you can rule them out, some have a red gem in the head band, purple belts, or a slightly different face in the portrait.
The hardest feature to identify can often be the color top she is wearing, as it's only barely visible on her portrait and almost impossible to identify on the spinning model. The original model of her has a dark faded shirt, but the new copies will have a striking orange or pink shirt equipped allowing you to tell them appart and disregard them as fakes.
All you have to do stop all dps, select the images one by one untill you find the right copy, then destroy it.
3D model for closer inspection.
Would the real Jandice Barov please stand up?
Rattle No More
Defeat Rattlegore without allowing him to gain more than 5 stacks of Rusting in Scholomance on Heroic Difficulty.
Rattlegore
Additional Tips
Every time Rattlegore performs a melee attack, he buffs himself with
Rusting
, increasing his damage but reducing his movement speed for 15 seconds. Therefore completing the achievement will rely on your ability to out-run a 25% slowed Rattlegore.
The easiest way to do this is to have another member of the group (not a Monk) taunt Rattlegore as he reaches 5 stacks of Rusting, kite him a short distance, then have the tank taunt back and repeat untill dead.
For tanks with any form of movement skills, or really just any experience kiting or fighting
The Big Bad Wolf
you should find him fairly easy to out run so long as you make use of the whole room when running and stick to the walls.
Sanguinarian
Defeat a Krastinovian Carver that has 99 stacks of Boiling Bloodthirst in Scholomance on Heroic Difficulty
Krastinovian Carver
Additional Tips
An easy achievement once you understand how the buff the Krastinovian Carvers have works.
Each trash mob has a single stack of Boiling Bloodthirst on them. When they die it is transfered to ALL nearby Carvers.
If you pull three Carvers, when the first dies the other two gain one stack of blood, givng them a total of 2 each. If a second Carver dies then the last will recieve
two
stacks of blood taking him to four. This repeats up untill 99.
For this achievement the magic number is
Eight
Carvers. If you make sure that only one dies at a time, the stack order will progress as:
8x1 ► 7x2 ► 6x4 ► 5x8 ► 4x16 ► 3x32 ► 2x64 ► 1x99
They only hit for about 5000 on a decently geared tank, but if you feel you cant take the damage they're very easy to slow and aoe down for the same result. This can cause problems however as if more than one dies at a time some stacks can be lost.
Polyformic Acid Trip
Defeat bosses around Pandaria while under the effects of Polyformic Acid Potion on Heroic Difficulty.
Professor Slate
Additional Tips
While this isn't an achievement you can complete in Scholomance, it requires you to drink the Polymorphic Acid Potion from Professor Slate's desk, so don't forget to pick it up when you're here.
School's Out Forever
Defeat 60 Expired Test Subjects within 20 seconds in Scholomance on Heroic Difficulty.
Darkmaster Gandling
Expired Test Subject
Additional Tips
The difficulty in this achievement lies in the ability of players to survive Gandling's fire attacks and additional summoned Ghouls, with potentially neither tank or healer to assist them.
During the fight Gandling will cast
Harsh Lesson
to teleport a random player (including his highest threat) to one of the six gated rooms nearby.
In these rooms the teleported target will be faced with 12 Expired Test Subjects which move slowly and will be initially drawn to attack the teleported player.
The gates of the room will be shut, but 25 seconds after being teleported in, the gate will open allowing the player to esceape. This means that for the first few seconds after the teleport, each player will have to run around the room doing their best to avoid damage untill they can rejoin the group.
The easiest way to complete this achievement is to have all 5 players group up around Gandling at the start of the fight. When each player gets teleported to their chambers and then released, they should run out and stay in the upstairs area of the room. This way you can seperate the slow moving test subjects from the rest of the group by simply running away from them around the balcony.
Once all 5 players have been teleported, and all 60 Test subjects are slowly walking around the to of the room, the party can once again gather at gandling, and allow the mass of zombies to follow. Gather them at the boss, and then AoE them all for a simple finish.
Shado-Pa Monastery
Respect
Bow to 20
Shado-Pan Novices when they bow to you after being defeated during the Master Snowdrift event in Shado-Pan Monastery on Heroic Difficulty.
Shado-Pan Novice
Additional Tips
The current text for this achievement fails to mention that you need to bow to
twenty
Novices, but doing so is still farily easy.
Make a macro for /bow, and then bind it to a convenient button.
Have your group dps one Novice at a time rather than aoeing and when the Novice becomes friendly and bows, simply /bow back.
There are 24 novices in the encounter so you can afford a few mistakes when trying.
Anyone in your group can do this, and any successful bow will count for the full group, so either 1 person can concentrate on getting the achievement for all 5 people, or each person can contribute to achieve the total.
Cute and deadly
The Obvious Solution
Eliminate the remaining Sha imprisoned in the Sealed Chambers and then defeat the Sha of Violence in Shado-Pan Monastery on Heroic Difficulty.
Sha of Violence
Additional Tips
The obvious solution is indeed obvious when you look around the room a little.
As you approach the Sha of Violence go up the stairs to the left (you can do this without pulling the Sha). At the top of the stairs is the Containment Override for the sealed chambers. Simply click it and it will release all the Sha minions into the room.
Unfortunatly doing so aggros all the adds and the boss at the same time, so be prepared with some healing, and a lot of aoe to burn them down before they become a problem.
As the achievement suggests it is necessary to kill the adds
before
the boss, otherwise the achievement will be failed.
Containment Override
Hate Leads to Suffering
Defeat Taran Zhu while every party member is at maximum hatred in Shado-Pan Monastery on Heroic Difficulty.
Taran Zhu
Additional Tips
During the fight with Taran, time spent in combat and damage taken will both slowly increase your Hatred bar, untill at 100 you become debuffed with
Haze of Hate
While under full hatred your dps drops significantly, but your survivability isn't diminished nearly as much. Therefore when Taran reaches around 5% - 10% health have all your dps change target and kill any remaining Orbs in the area untill everyone's hatred has maxed out. Once everyone is debuffed you can resume your attacks and take off the rest of his health.
While your hit rate is low it is still enough to hit him 10% of the time, so as long as no one takes unnecessary damage you can keep grinding at him untill he dies. One of the best attacks for this will be spamming any dots you have untill they stick.
Siege of Niuzao Temple
Where's My Air Support?
Defeat Commander Vo'jak after having killed the Sik'thik Amberwing in Siege of Niuzao Temple on Heroic Difficulty.
Commander Vo'jak
Additional Tips
The Fight starts when you ask the Panderan to bring you bombs for use on the incoming waves of adds. When you begin the encounter Commander Vo'jak sends a Sik'thik Amberwing to attack you.
While it doesn't land on the platform, it is close enough to the edge for melee to attack him, and it's at this point that you want to dps hard. You need a little over 100k party wide dps as after 15 seconds he will fly off above you out of range.
Once the Amberwing has gone it's likely that you will have some swarmers nearing the top of the ramp, let the tank pick these up and throw a bomb
near
him (the bomb can hurt your players too) in order stack the debuff on the enemy, then aoe them down untill you've caught up and are able to continue bombing the ramp.
The Amberwing comes in to bomb your party three times in total, each time the game gives a raid warning for his approach, and it's at this point all dps should be switching to it for a kill regardless of any approaching adds. If this happens in the middle of an approaching Demolisher wave, have your tank or healer blow a few up as they die with 1 hit, or throw a few bombs while your dps focus on downing the Amberwing.
4.7 million HP in 45 seconds.
Return to Sender
Defeat General Pa'valak while he has 20 stacks of Detonate in the Siege of Niuzao Temple on Heroic Difficulty.
General Pa'valak
Additional Tips
At 65% and 35% Pa'valak will surround himself with a 1,000,000 absorbtion shield and summon two sets of adds to assist him.
As these reinforcements join the fight the flying Amber-Sappers start randomly dropping Siege Explosives on the ground. The dropped explosives can be looted by players, and then used as grenades on Pa'valak.
Each siege explosive used will do 200,000 damage and debuff him with a charge of
Detonate
increasing damage taken by 5% for 1.5 minutes.
With only two shield / bomb phases it is important that everyone spreads out in the bombing area as much as possible. This helps to ensure that all charges are picked up and used as fast as possible, and that none are left to detonate by themselves and damage players.
Picking up and using ten bombs in this short amount of time really requires all five players, and so becomes doubly hard for tanks and healers if they have to aggro / heal the damage from the incoming Sik'thik Sodiers. As a result it is best when ever possible to throw a siege charge to damage both Pa'valak and the incomming Soldiers, killing them quickly and allowing everyone to focus on looting and bombing.
Run with the Wind
Defeat Ner'onok in Siege of Niuzao Temple on Heroic Difficulty while under the effect of Tenwu's Resolve.
Wing Leader Ner'onok
Additional Tips -
By Ashvael
While Ner'onok is casting
尘风
for the first time, move to the edge of the platform as displayed below. Then jump towards the other platform while he is still channeling
尘风
. After you land, you should see Tenwu lying on the ground. Talk to him and he will grant you Tenwu's Resolve. This buff lasts 2 minutes and grants 10% critical strike chance. Tenwu will also teleport you back to the original platform. Just finish the boss within 2 minutes and you will get the achievement.
Here are 2 screenshots displaying what you have to do.

Stormstout Brewery
Ling-Ting's Herbal Journey
Collect all 30 Golden Hoplings hidden around the Stormstout Brewery on any difficulty.
Golden Hopling
Additional Tips
One of the easiest achievements in the meta.
As you enter the brewery you will witness a dialogue between Chen Stormstout and
Auntie Stormstout
, it is at this point you will want to buy five
林庭珍藏的茶
from her.
Drinking this tea you will give you a five minute buff of the same name, and will allow you to see the previously invisible Hoplings around the brewery.
From that point it's a simple case of search and click.
There are exactly 30 Hoplings in the instance so there's really no need to keep count, simply keep hunting untill the achievement pops up.
There is no limit to the supply of tea at the vendor, so should you run out of tea you can simply return to the beginning, buy more, and carry on once the instance is clear.
Golden Hopling
Keep Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
Kill Ook-Ook after assaulting him with 20 Rolling Brew Barrels in Stormstout Brewery on Heroic Difficulty.
Ook-Ook
Additional Tips
This achievement could be far harder if there were less barrels in the encounter, but there are well over 20 brew barrels and when using steady dps they come failry regularly, allowing you to easily keep the debuff up.
The barrels are thrown into the area in streams by Ook-Ook's minions every time he casts
Going Bananas
. The barrels roll slowly from the sides across the room untill they hit a player, the boss, or the opposite wall.
The key is to have eagle eyed players ready to right click on them to start riding, or to get out of the way of them so none are wasted by accidental crashes.
The easiest way to complete this seems to be to tank Ook-Ook near the middle of the room, slightly further away from the entrance. This way there is less chance of a barrel hitting the boss without it being ridden by a player, and plenty of room for the group to get to a barrel before it hits a wall.
Have your two most mobile dps running around the room jumping on barrels and guiding them into the boss, and have your remaining dps making use of the debuff to slowly grind him down ensuring a steady supply of barrels.

How Did He Get Up There?
Find a way to get the Hozen Clinger to let go in Stormstout Brewery on any difficulty.
Hozen Clinger
Bopper
Additional Tips
This is one of the few achievements in the list which you can not only solo (once the 1st boss is dead) but can actually be slightly easier to do so.
Once you kill the 1st boss, pull the first Bopper you see back through the doors and kill it. Once it's dead loot the hammer that it drops and head up the ramp to the over looking balcony with the three large wodden distilleries and the Hozen hanging from the tower, as pictured.
Once you get there, stand underneath him and force a Hopper to come over to you. As it gets into melee range it will set off the fuse on its keg of explosives.
It is the explosion from this keg that you will use to knock the Hozen down from the still. A little practice in timing might be needed, but you need to use the hammer you have looted at the start, to knock the Hopper up in the air when his cast is about half finished. This should cause his explosion to detonate in the air and hit the Hozen, granting you the achievement.

Hopocalypse Now!
Smash 100 Virmen with a single hammer swing in Stormstout Brewery on Heroic Difficulty.
Hoppling
Hopper
Bopper
Additional Tips
This is one thats easier said than done, but simple to explain.
As with the previous achievement, you want to pull the first Bopper you see back through the doors, but this time
not
kill it. Instead you want to have one of your party members keepit occupied in the boss' room without killing it.
The other 4 members will run up the ramp dragging all the adds they meet with them untill them get to the balcony, and then jump over the edge back into the starting room.
Simply keep doing this over and over, rounding up as many adds as you can and keep kiting them up the ramp untill you have enough to smash at once.
Once your group is satisfied that they have 100 Virmen, they can jump over the balcony one last time and kill the one Bopper that you've kept from the start.
Who ever has aggro on the huge train of Virmen can loot this hammer, and then head back up the ramp, gathering all of the trash one last time and grouping them up for one large hammer blow.
Temple of the Jade Serpent
Important -
Lorewalker Stonestep
should be defeated before fighting Wise Mari!
Hydrophobia
Defeat Wise Mari without being hit by Corrupted Water, Hydrolance, or Wash Away in Temple of the Jade Serpent on Heroic Difficulty.
Wise Mari
Additional Tips
Thankfully this achievement is individual for each player which makes it far simpler.
The
Corrupted Waters
in the sunken areas of the floor can be avoided by staying on the stone paths around the room, however periodicly in phase one when fighting the four
Corrupt Living Water
Mari will erupt areas of the floor with
Hydrolance
. This can be negated by staying by the far door of the room alowing you to stay far enough away from all eruptions.
As you start phase two it is imoprtant to stand at Mari's back as he starts to cast
Wash Away
and then keep moving along the stone platforms jumping over the areas of water. Dpsing as you go untill he dies.
Simple enough to prepare for, but the slightest wrong or missed jump in phase two can easily break your achievement.
The Lurker's lil' brother.
Cleaning Up
Defeat the Sha of Doubt in Temple of the Jade Serpent while under the effects of Purified Water.
Sha of Doubt
Additional Tips
Once you kill Wise Mari you gain the debuff
Purified Water
which lasts 5 minutes. This is why it is important that you kill
Lorewalker Stonestep
first
if you are planning on doing this achievemnt.
Even with the Lorewalker dead you still have to make your way through three packs of trash and
Liu Flameheart
before facing, and subsequently killing the Sha of Doubt. Very difficult in your average pick up group, and probably very tough for most players in 463 gear.
Seeds of Doubt
Defeat the Sha of Doubt in Temple of the Jade Serpent while under the effect of 4 Seeds of Doubt on Heroic difficulty.
Sha of Doubt

"We made a video tutorial on how to complete this achievement, you can view it here:

The easiest way to do this is to get the boss to extremely low HP (less than 10%). Have one person assigned to click the crystals, and make sure when the add phase occurs that his add is killed first, so he can run around without risking death. Click all four crystals, and then make sure your party kills any remaining adds before the phase ends, or the Sha will heal a lot.
Each crystal puts a debuff on your raid and does damage. The debuff increases damage taken by 25% per stack, so you take 100% extra damage with 4 stacks."
Scenarios -
Pub Crawl
The Perfect Storm
The Perfect Pour
Brew the Boomer Brew without anyone in your party being hit by Lightning during A Brewing Storm.
Additional Tips
What should be a very simple achievement can be easily ruined by other players taking the damage.
The lightning strike causes a 10 yard aoe around the lightning rod, about 5 seconds after it is first lit up by the storm.
When the lighting aoe hits it will ignite one of the two kegs either side of the rod. It is these kegs you must douse to move on to the next stage of the scenario.
Because the aoe is large enough to hit the kegs around it, if the next lightning stike is on an adjacent lightning rod, then it will hit anyone trying to douse the flaming keg from the previous strike.
The kegs stay lit for a long time though, so there is no need to rush to them and get yourself hit. Simply move away from any incoming lightning, see which barrel is set alight, make sure no lightning is going to spawn near it, then click. Repeat.
The easiest way is just to have two players stay out of the rod area killing the Saurok that come, and one player focusing on dodging the bolts and dousing the kegs.
Shazam!
Don't Shake the Keg
Defeat Borokhula the Destroyer in A Brewing Storm without getting hit by his Swamp Smash.
Borokhula the Destroyer
Additional Tips
When you reach Thunderpaw Refuge and kill the few Saurok attackers inside, you can begin the final stage of the scenario, a fight with a giant Saurok named Borokhula.
During the fight Borokhula will cast Swamp Smash on is current target.
Swamp Smash is a conal aoe, very similar to
震荡波
and can be seen by the rumblings on the ground before he casts it. While this is a much reused attack by bosses and an easy one to move out of, if you are the one with aggro and your team aren't helping you kill the saurok attackers, they can easily overwhelm and daze you causing you to get stuck in the blast.
His second attack Earth Shattering, causes a series of spikes to spawn under your feet and impale you. Simply running while he stands still to channel them is enough to counter this.
Shockwave
Party of Six
Finish A Brewing Storm with all six Thunderpaw Guardians still alive.
Thunderpaw Guardian
Additional Tips
Guardian
Brewmoon Festival
Yaungolian Barbecue
Complete the Brewmoon Festival Scenario without the village being set on fire.
Additional Tips
A simple awareness and dps check for the scenario.
The Yaungol attack the village in five very specific areas. On the bridge East, from the caverns South, and down the road West, with 2 smaller groups at the dock and near the grain silos.
If any of the Yaungol that attack these areas aren't tanked or killed and manage to make it past the Panderan town defenders, they will move to the center of the village and throw some torches setting stuff on fire.
Either splitting your group up a little to attack all areas at once, or focusing all your attacks in one area at a time will both work perfectly fine.
However splitting up to keep the yaungol in combat at the edge of the village can help if you really lack dps for some reason.
Unless people are afk or there for the 1st time this one is almost a free achievement for completing the scenario.
A stray Yaungol playing with fire.
Binan Village All-Star
Personally use each of the Brewmoon Festival defenses:
Additional Tips
This achievement is even easier to get credit for at each stage, yet completing it all will take far longer.
Each time you enter the Brewmoon Festival, the village will be set up to defend against the Yaungol in one of six different ways.
Before starting any of the encounters around the map you can see which defense will be active in your scenario.
Briaw Shaw - Next to the bridge / inn
Vale Marksman - Asleep next to their cannons
Tian Disciple - 5 of them around the village
Barrel of Fireworks - Near each Yaungol attack
Krasarang Wild Brew - Dotted around the village
Derpa Derpa - By the town gong
Briaw Shan
Vale Marksman
Tian Disciple
Barrel of Fireworks
Krasarang Wild Brew
Derpa Derpa
Big Beach Brew Bash
Monkey See, Monkey Kill
Defeat all bosses of the Big Beach Brew Bash.
Additional Tips
In any Unga Ingoo scenario instance you will get Captain Ook and four other random bosses around the island (plus a totem in the south).
All very easy to kill, but waiting for the right one might take you a few tries.
Thankfuly the optional bosses in here can be killed after the end of the scenario, so you can search and kill at your leisure once Captain Ook is dead.
Captain Ook - End boss
Ookie
Grooka Grooka
Protected Unga Keg
Ba-Bam
Chihozen Binono
Rik Rik
Buried Treasure!
The Keg Runner
Complete Stage 2 of the Big Beach Brew Bash before the third wave of hozen pirates arrives.
Additional Tips
Once you start stage two of the scenario, Hozen will start to come from the pirate ship in the north across the water in boats, and up the beach to steal brew from you.
To get all 100 brew before the third wave of hozen comes takes a little bit of planning and some teamwork as the 3rd wave will come in 4:00.
As soon as phase two starts, two of your team should be making their way up the hilltop to the summit and kill the Boss Hozen at the top. From the summit there are two zip lines, who ever is closest to 30 brew should take the line back to camp while the other takes the second line down to the cave and loots as many brew as they can, even if this means they spill some (any spilled brew isn't lost and can be looted off the ground).
One of the party will have stayed behind to kill the five initial attacking hozen. Once killed this third member should start to follow the rest, picking up any mugs along the way, grabbing the large keg from the totem half way up the hill, and heading back to camp with as close to 30 brew as possible in order to defend the beach from the first pirates at ~1:00.
At this point you should around 60 brew and another 30 incoming from the cave, requiring you to get 10 or less from the mugs in the beach area.
If for any reason you think you'll be short on brew, the beach defendes can take the zip line across to the boat in the SW for another easy 25. (Map Above)
Pirates Inc.
Spill No Evil
Complete Stage 2 of the Big Beach Brew Bash without Brewmaster Bo getting razzled.
Additional Tips
This is significantly easier as there is no time limit to the achievement.
The easiest way is to have two players guard the beach with cannon fire and bombs, and let the third player take thier time on various bosses and meander back with brew when ready.
99% Sand, 1% Beer, 0% Hozen
Monkey in the Middle
Defeat Captain Ook without him getting an orange.
Captain Ook
Additional Tips
Other than it being currently bugged, this achievement should really be given on your first kill so long as you keep your eyes open for the mechanic.
During your fight with Ook, he will start to become afflicted by scurvey. At this point he will ignore his main target and chase after a newly spawned orange for it's curative Vitamin C.
It's at this point that one of your group members should also stop attacking and run after the orange. Provided you get there first Ook will now start to chase you to get it back.
Your choices then are, run away, or throw the orange to another player so he chases them instead.
Easy, fun, and achievement rewarding. What more could you ask for
You big bullies
Crypt of the Forgotten Kings
It's a Trap!
Step on a floor trap in the Crypt of Forgotten Kings scenario.
Additional Tips
A rather strange achievement this time. I assume before they're done it will turn to the opposite 'Dont stand on any traps during the scenario' but time will tell.
There are traps all over the floor in random places. Anyone who has quested in the mountains of Kun-Lai should be familiar with the appearance of the marked stone trigger pads, though here the damage caused by the resulting trap is a lot higher
Triggered lightning trap
Fancy Footwork
Complete the Crypt of Forgotten Kings scenario without anyone taking damage from a Cloud of Hatred.
Additional Tips
This is intended to be more of a collection of other people's experiences than my own personal guide, so if you see something missing please help to fill it out.
Add any comments and suggestions on the guide it's self below, and I'll try my best to update it with other people's notes.

For Seed of Doubt in Temple of Jade Serpent, you'll have to defeat the boss with 4 stacks of debuff called "Seed of Doubt".
The debuff is given by an clickable crystal which appears above the two brazier behind the boss during the Figment of Doubt phases. In other words, you'll have to sustain 4 waves of Figment of Doubt phases. Figment of Doubt phases is on a timer of 1.5mins so make sure don't kill the boss too fast.
Seed of Doubt do an initial 50,000 shadow damage to whole team and causes players to take extra 25% damage each stack, so healing will be getting more and more intense as it stacks. Make sure everyone in party is topped up before click the crystal.

Glintrok N' Roll
I can't confirm if this one is actually working but some tips on how to deal with the adds.
Glintrok Skulker: The one that stuns, move backward (the tank) to make the cast fail, keep doing it until he dies
Glintrok Oracle: The healer, kill this one first as he does a very good AoE heal and the interrupts got a bit nerfed.
Glintrok Hexxer: CC this one, his debuff is a DPS loss, so dispel it ASAP, if he gets immune to CC kill him after the healer.
Glintrok Ironhide: This one is pretty nasty but can be shutdown by any interrupt/stun/disorient effect, the aura applies only to his allies (our enemies) not to himself.
Other important thing is that if you kill Gekkan first the adds will remain with the immune CC buff, as time is very important here you can opt to kill him after all the other are dead.
Mosh Pit
I think the damage of the skill got buffed, I got killed after getting stuck on it (can't use skills/50k damage per second while on it), maybe its better jump onto the blades with the adds when he is almost ending the cast.
And Stay Dead!
They "fixed" the Mass Resurrection Spell, but over tuned it, right now 10-20 (i was shocked by the number of adds that came), the real problem is that they stun (removing dodge/parry and maybe block) making you die on the third time they stun you (you need to burn a cooldown on every stun else the damage you take is way too big).
Ling-Ting's Herbal Journey
The Hoplings can be tracked (beast), making it very easy to find the missing ones.

Having done the majority of the achievements (I need four more, and only one of them I'd actually consider a challenge - that's the 5 minute last 2 bosses in Jade Temple), I'll put my thoughts on some here:
Glintrok Rock n' Roll - I'm sure someone's probably already mentioned it, but the balcony can be jumped over (although it's more difficult than some other jumps), making this achievement trivial. Virtually every pug I've been with has gotten it.
Empowered Spiritualist - can be done on normal mode. It may or may not be unintended - while it seems like something that could be a heroic achievement, it's also not on the meta.
And Stay Dead - now working as intended. You can kill Whitemane before the Judicators despite what the achievement says, but you can't complete the encounter until the Judicators are dead (basically, either Whitemane or Durand must be the last mob to die).
Attention To Detail - for people that usually use 3D portraits like myself, the achievement is much easier if you disable them.
Keep Rollin' Rollin' Rollin' - barrels are able to smash into Ook, but it appears that if they aren't controlled by a player they don't contribute to the 20 barrels required. As such, it's much safer to overshoot the 20 mark in order to guarantee success. Really, just have your dps only do dps via the barrels, and you shouldn't have an issue.
Hopocalypse Now - as a tankadin in 463 gear, we waited until I had 120k AP from vengeance as an indicator, then used the hammer (we tried at around 80k AP and didn't have enough mobs). The mobs spawn infinitely until you enter the second boss' platform, so as long as you're healer and tank are surviving, feel free to let them keep stacking.
Hydrophobia - if you're having great difficulty avoiding the corrupted water, consider Levitate. It works a fair amount of the time. However, I actually preferred going for the achieve without it, as it does screw up occasionally, and it may not be worth the risk.
Cleaning Up - the fastest way to get through the three Sha before the final boss is to CC them. Given how little CC people are using in heroics, most forget that they can do this - though bringing a group that can CC 3 elementals is another story, so you may have to accept burning down one or two.

The corpses of more than 13 Justicars, she needs to resurrect for this achivement, are found in the left wing of the cathedral, so make sure it is cleared.
Then do the following steps:
1. Kill Commander Durand.
2. High Inquisitor Whitemane comes out.
3. Damage her until she resurrects Commander Durand to prevent being stunned by her while killing the additional justicars. DO NOT let her cast Mass Resurrection.
4. Kill Commander Durand for the second time.
5. Let her cast Mass Resurrection.
6. Pop cooldowns and bomb the Justicars.
7. Kill High Inquisitor Whitemane.

I'd like to offer a few notes, since I've been running groups to help others get these achievements over the last few weeks. These may not be the best ways to do the achievements, but they work time after time. Here are some things we've discovered:
Shadow-Pan Monastery:
Hate Leads to Suffering - this is much easier than you would think and no one ever needs to meditate (which can cause the boss to die before that person has reached full hate again). Just go to the island on the right after Sha (46, 65) and get a buff from the shrine called
Unerring Blades
that negates the 90% hit debuff. After that, the hate only affects the healer, so they can wait until his health gets low to jump into a black puddle.
Scholomance:
Attention to Detail - this is so much easier with either the model script or
addon
. When you look at only the head, you can't see that only one of the Barovs has the skull belt, which is how we identify it so quickly. Black gloves (not red or orange) and skull belt (much easier to identify than shirt color). If you're running this on challenge mode, I would suggest the addon to compare the models of Barov and your current target.
Polyformic Acid Trip - you can get the vial on normal difficulty. Since Slate only drops 1, this is the best way to get up to 6 copies of the buff (due to there being 3 copies of the vial), though a group going for just this achievement can kill all 6 bosses in the hour that that first buff lasts (assuming you queue for the next heroic after killing only the boss you need). The empty vial is unique; every time you use the nearly full, half-full, or nearly empty vial to get the slate buff, it will create an empty vial in your bag, so you cannot use the vial if you have an empty one (this is very important).
Scarlet Halls:
Most Pit - it has been noted that all 8 adds have to be in blades of light at the same time and they have to die. Adds that live (or people that live) do not always count toward the achievement (and Blizz won't give it to you if they can't confirm dead adds). Furthermore, they have to die in the
last
Blades of Light (if he does another one without catching 8 adds you will fail). Just dps the boss to 10-15% and wait. Stand at the top of the stairs and hold him and the adds, jumping down on the opposite side he goes up. This will make the adds not jump into him as he spins away. If adds are standing on the stairs as he passes on the ramp above, they will be grabbed, so jump quickly. As soon as you have 8 adds, let him grab them (usually jumping straight down just as he starts to go up the stairs will work) and kill him when he returns. Note that RA only counts 8 total adds killed by blades, so ignore it for this achievement.
Siege of Niuzao Temple:
Return to Sender - just a quick note that you need to not dps the shield at all in order to have enough time for bombs. The mantid flying overhead will leave when his shield is down, so have your group focus only on grabbing bombs. The tank should stand on the side of his shield where the adds spawn (west side) and drop a consecrate, D&D, bear symbiosis consecrate, or something to that effect that will keep the adds off the healer while everyone throws bombs. I just swiped them as a cat when my healer ran by and kited them while I grabbed bombs. Bombs will continue to fall for a few seconds after the shield drops, so keep grabbing them and throwing them at the boss.
Stormstout Brewery:
Ling-Ting's Herbal Journey - the 30 hoplings are shared, just like the jade quilens and teh golden orbs from Extra Credit Bonus Stage. If your group all needs the achievement, then everyone can drink tea and grab golden hoplings. A druid cat with track humanoids is very helpful (they are the only green dots in the first half of the instance except for Auntie) or the buff from
Blackened Worg Steak
if you don't have a spare druid. There's no counter, unfortunately, but you can just run around chasing the word "Golden Hopling" on your map.

I'd like to add here that today our group got credit for
Attention to Detail
by killing her before she splits. No need to track scripts or scrutinize this way!
