Recommended Gear for Fury Warriors in Shadowlands
What is the BiS Fury Warrior gear?
With many different sources of gearing and loot scarcity in Shadowlands, targeting your absolute Best in Slot gear isn't entirely realistic; instead, we've created a Best in Slot list from the ideal Fury Warrior raid drops found in Shadowlands, from Mythic Dungeons, to help you decide what to prioritize.
Season 4 Best in Slot Gear for Fury Warriors
With three raids worth of gear to choose from and several new special effect pieces of gear from Mythic+ dungeons, the best gear is greatly expanded from Sepulcher and includes various pieces which may not be immediately obtainable to all players. Due to the Creation Catalyst carrying forward, players will also be able to create maximum level tier gear in slots they weren't able to before. Note that Fated difficulty Sanctum of Domination gear will
include Shards of Domination sockets in Season 4.
There are no new Legendary item ranks in Season 4, however, which means that they will now be lower item level than other pieces of epic gear, resulting in a shifting of priorities. While before, it was optimal to place legendaries in high budget slots such as helmets, it will now be more beneficial to craft them in lower item level slots such as wrists or belt. Ultimately, the difference is exceedingly small however, so the choice is yours.

Lords of the Dead
Best Gear to Buy with Dinar and Upgrade
is a new currency in Season 4, available through a three-part questline which requires defeating 10, 20, and then 30 unique raid bosses over the course of the season. Players can then spend the currency in order to buy up to three pieces of special effect raid gear from a vendor in Oribos. This allows players to ensure they obtain important items without relying on the randomness of looting it themselves.
While items bought this way are obtained at the base Fated item level of 278, any fated item may also be upgraded to Heroic or Mythic quality with another currency obtained from defeating bosses on those difficulties. This allows players to eventually upgrade lower difficulty Fated items, including those purchased using Dinar, to Heroic or Mythic difficulty.
Because items bought with Dinar start at normal item level and it will take longer to acquire the currency to upgrade them to Mythic, it may be a good idea to hold off on making purchases until you are able to upgrade the item, in case you happen to loot one of the items as a raid drop or from the Great Vault. Otherwise, these items also have the highest priority for upgrading.
If you happen to have any leftover Dinar, feel free to spend them on secondary trinkets for off-specs or other types of content, though keep in mind that only items with special effects can be bought with Dinar, limiting Fury Warriors to specific weapons and trinkets. After weapons and trinkets, excess upgrade currency can likewise be spent on upgrading whatever pieces of gear are weakest, although tier set items can be supported with the Creation Catalyst system.
Fury Warrior Tier Set Bonuses
Armaments of the Infinite Infantry
- Raging Blow deals 15% increased damage and gains an additional charge.
- Raging Blow has a 20% chance to grant Recklessness for 4 sec.
The four piece bonus causes Bloodbath and Crushing Blow to become available when Reckless Abandon is talented, but does not generate extra rage.
The Fury bonuses are very strong, predominantly aimed toward single target which the specialization has been lacking this expansion, but also providing increased value in sustained cleaved. Although the four piece bonus comes with some amount of RNG, it tends to proc quite often due to the frequency Raging Blow is used, particularly when combined with
, to the point where Whirlwind can be dropped from the rotation almost entirely. Most importantly, the set has particularly strong synergy with the Necrolord covenant ability
and the legendary
, placing Fury in a very attractive position once the full set is acquired.

Mythic+ Best in Slot Gear for Fury Warriors
Dungeon "BiS" is very flexible and should not be taken as a hard rule, due to the fact that obtaining higher item level gear from raid, the vault, or elsewhere can easily upset the balance of secondary stats, resulting in a completely different combination of items. In reality, you will always want to combine dungeon gear with at least the current raid tier set, even lower difficulty versions, along with the highest item level gear you have available.
That said, there are a handful of items which are better
Mythic+ dungeons than raid, specifically trinkets which are more tuned to dealing continual AoE damage and the special Karazhan set,

Best Fury Warriors Trinkets in Shadowlands
DPS trinkets tend to be very straightforward, as their damage is not affected by class damage buffs such as Enrage and Siegebreaker. Therefore, direct damage dealing trinkets should be used on cooldown as much as possible, unless aligned with specific boss damage taken increasing mechanics, and stat increasing trinkets should similarly either be used on cooldown or aligned with burst phases.
The best trinkets include:
continues to be the best overall trinket, especially available at competitive item levels in Season 4. Although it has been nerfed by 10%, the increasing item level more than makes up for it.
is very powerful, but also dangerous to use. Each application increases a different secondary stat, but also applies stacking debuffs: increasing damage taken, reducing healing taken, applying a permanent bleed, and reducing movement speed. So while it is very competitive, it also has a high likelihood of getting you killed.
is generally the best on-use trinket, stacking well with other buffs for high burst damage. Although its cooldown does not naturally line up with other abilities, most encounters won't allow more than two uses, so the final cast can be delayed to line up with Execute phases.

Best Items to Upgrade with Valor Points for Fury Warriors in Shadowlands
Points is a currency used by players to upgrade items from Mythic+ Dungeons, either from running Mythic Keystones or from the Great Vault, up to item level 298.
You can obtain Valor by completing Mythic+ dungeons or completing daily callings. You can learn more about Valor in our in-depth guide.
Earning and Spending Valor Points
When upgrading Mythic+ items with
, you will normally prioritize weapons and trinkets, although these may be instead acquired through the use of the new
currency. Valor acquisition is uncapped in Season 4 however, so do not worry to much about efficiency, and instead simply prioritize raising your weakest pieces or those items you are likely to use the longest.
Items to Prioritize in the Great Vault for Fury Warriors in Shadowlands
When selecting your weekly reward from the Great Vault, you'll prefer higher item level pieces when possible. Prioritize weapons early, since they give the most throughput for a single item upgrade. High priority trinkets will be your next best option, followed by items with a higher stat budget (typically Helms, Chests, and Legs followed by Shoulders, Gloves, Belt, and Boots).
Continue to favor high stat budget items over low stat ones. If there's a particular item in your gear set with a low item level then you can also select that over making minor item level upgrades to other pieces. As a bit of a cheat sheet:
Weapons → High Value Trinkets → Tier → High Stat Budget Gear (Helms, Chests, and Legs) → Everything Else

There is no one-handed item level equivalent to the Mythic N'Zoth sword, Devastation's Hour
This is incorrect since.
has the same item level (Mythic Carapace).
Is the Belt mentioned above really the preraid BiS Belt? I thought crit/vers are the two stats you dont want? I thought haste/mastery are our best stats so i would rather take the Belt from "De Other Side" which has hast/vers or the one from "Necrotic Wake" with Mastery/vers.
Why you have delete Pre-Raid "Best in Slot" Gear ? I don't go in raid, I just play in mm+ so can you put them plz ? =) Thx you
weird doesnt see any haste chestpiece etc..
you guys missed about 12 item slots on your heroic alternative list and I guess just gave up? ...
9.0.5 and STILL no BIS list for shadowlands fury warrior.
Please add BiS m+ list. Every other class guide has one. Why doesnt fury and arms have one?
I'm probably dumb but why are "Phial of Putrefaction and Overwhelming Power Crystal " listed as bis when both anima field emitter and inscrutable quantum device show as bis single AND multi on your sim results?
Thanks for the list, i use it to make my bis :)
Sooo What about One handed weapons?
Are they completely obsolete for Fury Warriors?
