Looking forward to sending him on missions... Does he only have a 32.33(repeating of course) chance of survival though?
I will look forward to having him as a follower and putting on my jenkins title again.
Nice. But as long as he doesn't come back with any whelps.
Note to self: Do not let him near dragons or rookeries.
+X% Bonus Chance on getting Chicken as loot? Sweet-o.
For those who don't have a clue what are the others talking about:
Leeroy Jenkins, often elongated with numerous additional letters, is an
named for a player character created by
in Blizzard Entertainment's MMORPG, World of Warcraft. The character became popular due to a video of the game that circulated on the internet.
Leeroy was actually a fan-made Paladin character created back in the "Vanilla" WoW on the server US-Laughing Skull. The
video originally titled "
A Rough Go
" has appeared on
May 11, 2005
. The video took place in the original 15-man version of the raid instance:
and described the UBRS Rookery whelp event.
The video has become a World of Warcraft phenomenon. After much debate and controversy,
<PALS FOR LIFE>
, Leeroy's guild, have admitted that this was a staged promotional video. They maintain, however, that it is essentially a faithful re-enactment of a true event.
Due to the character's popularity Blizzard decided to add numerous remembrance in dedication to Leeroy to their games, such as
- grants this epic follower!

Here is a Paladin that don't know how to bubblehearth.
Leeroy, you're moron!
he has his devout shoulders.
finally, he can heal better now because he has more mana.
It is just too perfect that they made the threat he deals with the best
a large number of enemies
For reference :
Where Leeroy Jenkins came from :)
If you didn't recieve leeroy,
I got cheated out of Leeroy follower on this achievement, we did it today and when Leeroy got to beast room, he pulled one of the two ogre guards blocking the entrance to the right and i noticed it and attacked the ogre to get aggro while the rest of my group was in beast room, i died saving him, group killed the add we all got the achievement but i did not get Leeroy, my guess it was for being dead. made a ticket got this response./s]
As you can probably imagine, the most recent expansion patch, while improving the game immensely overall, did bring with it a few glitches here and there. I wish I could somehow convince Leeroy to join you on your garrison myself but that is something that we simply cannot do. :/ The fact of the matter is, when it comes to widespread bugs like this, a more permanent fix must be put in place. These usually come in the form of hotfixes. While I do not have an ETA, rest assured we are aware of and are working on a fix. In the meantime, I'll go ahead and send up the details of your report .
edit: if you did not get leeroy the first time just re-do the achievement process, i received it after i went to help a friend get his.
Video detailing how to get Leeroy Jenkins as a follower, what we did, and so on.
We had enough time to loop back to Leeroy at the end, so I include footage of the
entire progression path
Leeroy takes as his makes his way through the instance at the end.
Enjoy, and I hope it helps.
I'm think this follower increase chance to fail mission. =)
How to do video ->
Today I found out the hard way that if Leeroy dies while looting the Son of the Beast (with the fire still up at the corpse) you will get the achievement (as that is probably triggered shortly after the Son of the Beast is dead) but you will
get him as follower. Given I have the classic title I was pretty bummed when this happened.
DO NOT! Try to clear the room BEFORE you ressurect him! The icon to rez him will not show up! You have to rez him then try clearing the room!
Leeroy, wherever you are today...thanks for all the original UBRS memories <3
all of us in wow
How to guide: He lies next to the 2nd boss. Ress him, then quickly start killing all trash>kill boss>kill more trash>kill a miniboss>done
As a note for Garrison Invasions, Leeroy is a great follower to have to patrol with you during Invasions due to his high DPS thanks to his Crusader Strike and Divine Storm (The latter of which heals. It damages enemies and heals allies).
n.n like it!
All trash between Leeroy Jenkins resurrection point and Son of the Beast, including Son of the Beast, must die. Those two orcs hanging out in the corner? Think they won't attack Leeroy? Think again.
All Trash Must Die.
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but good ol Leeroy is dead in the UBRS rookery behind Kyrak on the floor. R.I.P. Leeeeeeeroy.
Since there seems to be a lack of information about how to actually complete the achievement I am going to link the Fatboss video guide to how it is done. I came here searching for how it was actually accomplished and left with nothing but why the achievement is in the game in the first place and 20 posts about that. Yes there is a video below but it is not in English and it is hard to discern the actual points just from watching it.
So, good luck, enjoy and.. LEEEEEEEEROOOOOOY JEEEEEENKINS!
Yours truly and the sexiest paladin ever,
Leeroy Jenkins ftw
Is definitely my choice during invasions. I get gold more often with him probably due to his massive heals.
should have a unique trait where your mission launches as soon as you drop him in a slot, regardless of whether the follower slots are full. This would be a fitting tribute to his namesake and quite a handy trait when you have a mission success rating of 100% before it's full or otherwise want to launch a mission without a full compliment of followers.
ehh... i already have the achievement where I got the "Jenkins" title. Does this mean I have to do BRS again to get the follower?
I have decided to do inside test of all my Garrison Followers how much
they can pull against Training Dummies.
I did this to find out which Follower is the best to take on a patrol during Garrison Invasion content.
Each test took 1 minute.
I'm not testing bodyguards here.
After few hours of "training" it turnd out that the winner is…
He does some sick dps (also aoe) and even sicker healing. That makes him King of Garrison Invasion companion.
does more dps, she doesnt heal and she tends to die during invasion.
Honorable mentions are:
- for best dps.
- for most bizzare style.
- good single target dps.
- good single target dps.
- good aoe.
Below You can see test results for all my active Followers.
As you can see Followers' iLvl scales with their DPS (Leeroy is an example here).
I will be adding new followers as soon, as I'll test them.

It strikes me as funny that for
the new achievement
and to get Leeroy as a follower, you have to make sure that
no matter what
you have to make sure that he gets nowhere near any mobs at all!
If he does, he dies :)
People need to stop fangirling over Leeroy. Who was he? He was a guy that charged into a room of dragons after waiting a short time thus wiping his raid. Fangirling over such a person promotes bad behavior.
Considering that Leeroy is a human, Alliance garrisons will get further mileage with him as they can have followers with the Humanist racial trait.
WHY? In the world? Would blizzard give him the "Counters Minion Swarms" ability? Has Blizzard never seen the video?11one11eleven!
When you talk to him in your Garrison he starts off with:
"It's not my fault"
It appears you have to get the achievement on each character to have him unlocked.
Hehehe i just got him on mine 12th char and i am so supriced of on of his traits :D :D
-> Incress succes... on mission with udnead :D :D :D
Realy ? :D
Paladin is best friend of undead :D So why not ?
Is it just supreme irony that Leeroy came with Epic Mount and gets missions done in half the time, or is it this way by design? Lol.
My Leeroy came with double Divine Storm. Only follower I've ever seen with two of the same ability. Just Leeroy bein' Leeroy.
Just to note if you ever going back to him for old times sake (or something of that nature) you must resurrect him after Kyrak. He becomes un-clickable if you continue and down the next boss.
Unfortunately, none of the text instructions I found were able to get me through this. So here I present what I learned:
You must have someone in your party with a built-in ability to resurrect dead people. Items don't seem to work, and if you don't have the ability then you won't be able to get Leeroy or do the achievement.
Set dungeon difficulty to Heroic.
Enter dungeon portal inside the mountain and kill everything you can. This will enable
and open a door for you to continue.
Kill all NPCs and the first boss,
Leave the room with the first boss. In the next room,
do NOT go up the ramp in front of you,
as this may disable your ability to rez Leeroy. Kill everything in that room, including
Stay in that room, and do not go up the ramp, until Leeroy has been successfully resurrected.
Leeroy's dead body will be on the ground near where Kyrak was originally standing. The player with the resurrection ability should click his body. If you do not have a resurrection ability, clicking the body will accomplish nothing. Leeroy will resurrect, and you will get a 900-second "chicken timer" at the very top, center of your screen. You must kill
before this timer expires.
Continue forward in the dungeon. Leeroy will stay where you left him. Kill everything. (The purpose for this, I believe, is to prevent the NPCs from attacking Leeroy when he finally starts moving.)
and continue on, killing all NPCs.
Right before you encounter
, you will enter a room with mobs and cages, with the doorway to the Ragewing encounter on your right and another room on your left.
Do not enter the room with Ragewing or do anything that will begin the Ragewing encounter.
Kill everything in that room, including the two guards in front of the doorway. I don't believe you have to open the cages, but I did it just in case.
Go to the room on the left. Kill everything, then kill
The jury is out as to whether or not you can loot the body at this point, but it's probably safest to just leave it alone so the corpse won't despawn.
Wait there until the chicken timer expires. Leeroy will say something in chat and start moving toward your location.
Wait until Leeroy arrives. This will take a few minutes. He will move to the location where Son of the Beast originally stood, pause for a bit, then move to where the body is. He will loot the body, talk a little, bit, then you will get the achievement and the follower.
At this point you can loot Son of the Beast. Feel free to either leave or finish the dungeon. The Leeroy follower comes in as a purple at max level, so no leveling is necessary.
Leeroy will die from a single hit from the Beast. Even if you're soloing the instance at higher-than-intended-levels.
So make sure to kill the boss before Leeroy reaches that room.
Strangely, he is too far away to be ressed even if you are next to him.
Leeroy is an epic a character as you'll ever find! Why isn't he in the Paladin Class Hall? He certainly needs to be!
