Antorus, the Burning Throne
intermission, apply your
to either the Decimator or the Annihilator to generate more Soul Shards.
so you save time running with
, i prefer to place mine in the middle of the room so i can teleport back in.
going from the back of the room to melee. This will allow people to either stay near the boss dps'ing for longer or get back quickly after
Make sure you utilize your
as much as possible, if a mechanic is incoming make sure to position yourself so you can dps for the full duration.
to reduce the amount of time spent running when
drags you closer.
On this fight you want to consider playing
as you can proc this by having your imp cast
on people affected by
. I suggest making a mouseover macro for this.
On mythic difficulty you'll want to make sure you have Soul Shards ready to
the Screaming Shrike's (the bats), if these do not die in time they will eject the person inside the pod.
Make sure you cast
on the target that will make you hit the highest amount of targets since you'll be playing
. This way you will gain more Soul Shards, also the imps have to die before they cast.
The reason i suggest you play
on this fight is to stun the imps on the platform. Also, this means you should play
since you will reliably be able to proc this off cooldown.
Same as with Portal Keeper Hasabel you will reliably be able to proc your
so i suggest speccing into
Since a lot of the pacs on this fight contain 5-6+ mobs you'll also want to consider playing
as you will be casting
quite a lot.
I suggest using
because you will be able to use your imps
from people in your raid. Be careful with this as you want to make sure nobody is standing within 10 yards of the person you're dispelling.
Position yourself atleast 10 yards away from everyone else so you dont risk being slept by someone else.
You may want to place a
going onto the bridge. This will allows your tanks to take it and clear whatever might be on the bridge. This depends on the tactic you're using.
intermission and pop all your cooldowns on the adds. They take increased damage that decreases throughout the phase until the cast is done.
You can place a
going from one platform to another, this will allow people to get from platform to platform faster. Be careful with this as you might hit a
while traveling in the gateway.
You can use your
to get back into the group after running out with
. This is mainly only doable on Heroic as your mythic tactic may not allow you to do this.
phase you can use
to not drop below 100% movement speed. Make sure you dont run more than 8 yards away from people though as you dont want to trigger an
On Mythic difficulty you want to swap to the
as quickly as you can. I suggest using
on these as your
may not hit it before it's too late.
Make sure you dont cast
as your tanks are about to swap bosses. This makes the bosses take reduced damage so rather delay it a little bit.
The bossses have to be 18 yards away from each other, this is still in range of
so you may want to use this.
intermission you can cast
to stop an add. Keep in mind this means you either have to kill the add after banish runs off or unbanish it before it runs out.
I suggest playing
to proc it more or less off cooldown.
You can cast
to stop it from moving. This also makes it unable to take damage so it can be very useful. You can break this cc by casting
On Normal and Heroic make sure you have cooldowns ready 30 seconds after Argus reaches 40%. This means you'll have cooldowns for
During this phase you should mainly target the add taking increased fire damage since your
are all fire damage. Then use
onto any of the other adds and cast as many
during that time as possible. This is Chaos damage and will deal increased damage to any of the adds.
During the final phase you'll want to make sure to save Soul Shards to focus the
. These are going to be very high priority as they're casting
and if this finishes casting you will most likely wipe.
Tomb of Sargeras
100% single target.
Depending on killtime you may want to switch between
. If your killtimer is just before getting your 3 min. cd's up then
is probably going to be your strongest option.
Try your best to utilize
when he casts
, try to place your portal behind the pillars he spawns. This will allow you to portal into safety rather than spending time running to safety.
Do your best to cast
when there is 10+ seconds until Atrigan casts
and Belac casts
. This way you will avoid gaining unnecessary torment.
off to the side so you can either portal out when Atrigan casts
on you, or if you find yourself inside a
circle (the big purple domes). This will overall help your raid and reduce the amount of torment you will gain from these mechanics
You do not gain torment from having an Immolate on a target that's casting. This means you should ideally refresh Immolate when there's 2-3 seconds until a boss is casting.
Do your best to cast your Incinerates on the target where you will be able to hit the highest amount of targets when cleaving. This way you will generate more shards and overall do more damage. Also the adds have to die on this fight so the faster you kill them the better.
off to the side so you can teleport out when the boss starts to draw in the pools.
Depending on how much add damage you're going to be able to do you may want to use
on the right side of the room (looking in from the entrance) so that as soon as you need to reset your stacks you can just teleport rather than having to move.
Make sure you save shards for when Captain Yathae Moonstrike summons Moontalon. This means you'll be able to deal a large amount of damage by casting
on either the boss or Moontalon.
Do your best utilizing your
on reducing the amount of movement you need to do. This can either be by dodging
When there are 3+ targets up you should cast Rain of Fire instead of Chaos Bolt. If you have Havoc available this goes up to 4 targets. Keep in mind that this means all targets are inside the radius of your Rain of Fire for its full duration.
Depending on how much add damage you're going to be able to do you may want to use
This one is a bit more tricky, depending on what difficulty you're up against i would choose between 2 different talent setups. The first setup is as follows:
Normal and Heroic:
This talent setup is the standard single target spec for Destruction. The reason you'll want to choose this spec for Normal and Heroic is that adds will most likely die very fast where damage on high-health targets are higher priority. Therefore this is my recommended build.
This talent setup is the standard multi-target AoE spec for Destruction. On Mythic there are more adds and that's the reason this spec pulls ahead on Mythic difficulty. If your raid has a very high add damage and are lacking boss damage you may want to consider switching back to the standard single target spec.
The only real tip i have for this fight is to utilize your cooldowns such as Havoc to the best of your ability. There are a lot of targets on this fight and by playing it smart you should be able to pull some decent numbers.
When the boss casts
she will summon a bunch of fel and light orbs. Once stood in one of those orbs (of the same source as your debuff) you will gain a stacking damage increase. Try to align your second/third set of cooldowns with this debuff.
On Fallen Avatar there are 2 bosses in the first phase. However, since you may end up pushing into the final phase too quickly it's not always beneficial to the raid to cleave. Therefore you should choose Channel Demonfire rather than Wreak Havoc.
You should do your best at having 4+ soul shards ready for when the Maiden of Valor is casting her
, at this point you should Havoc the Fallen Avatar and damage the Maiden until she stops casting. When she is done casting you should not damage her until the next time she is casting.
When Kil'jaeden has summoned a
you will be knocked back from where the singularity is spawned. You can reduce your amount of downtime by utilizing your
Keep in mind you can also utilize your
to your raids advantage on this fight
When the boss places a
on 3 raid members or a
on your tank you should do your best at killing these quickly. Make sure you have saved some soul shards and your Havoc for this
