Anybody aware of how to farm these? I'm stuck at 4 and want to get 2 more in order to purchase an upgrade in my sanctum.

So i changed cov's on the quest that i was meant to get them and now i just cannot obatin them... anyone got any tips?

To receive your first 5 Redeemed Souls, complete Chapter 1 of your covenant campaign up to and including 充满希望的消息 and report back to your covenant. Once that's done, you'll get a weekly quest in your covenant sanctum to collect 5 more souls from the Maw. The number of souls you can collect per week increases automatically when you reach Renown levels 15, 24 and 32. Renown is also earned through weekly quests. You can advance up to 3 Renown levels per week up to 24, and 2 per week from 25 to 40. To see how many souls you have, talk to your sanctum upgrade NPC.

Supposedly we got 5 of these for free? I never got any, and on this character I did the full story line. Could I have spent them already somehow?

I went to the Maw today and souls were showing up on the map to be collected even though I don't have the weekly quest? It's Monday. I went around grabbing every one that I could until I got Eye 5 and left but it's saying I didn't collect any?

If we get 5 救赎之魂 a week and there is no other sources in the future it looks like it will take 49 weeks to unlock all the Sanctum Reservoir upgrades. A total of 242 救赎之魂s. You will also need a 92k 贮藏心能 for all the upgrades.

The 囚禁之魂s you free in the Maw are totally different from the Redeemed Souls you use for sanctum upgrades. Your first 5 Redeemed Souls come from doing your covenant campaign up to 充满希望的消息. After that there's a weekly quest in your covenant's sanctum.

Oh joy, completed the quest second week and did not receive the 5 redeemed souls. And no, Im not part of the covenant change bug because I did not change covenants.

for some reason these do not show up in the currency tab, the only way to check them is to view the Sanctum Upgrades panel at your Covenant hub

So is there like absolutely no other means of obtaining these but the five per week? I've got 11,000 anima and nothing to do with it because all the covenant upgrades take redeemed souls.

What’s the catch-up mechanic on these?

I switched covenants during the 3rd week so I should have total of 15 souls by now with my new covenant but I only have 10. I got 5 right after I switched and another 5 from the weekly quest where I needed to save 5 from the Maw.

I haven't seen this mentioned in any of the other comments so I hope this helps answer some questions:
You start by recieving 5x from the Weekly maw quest in your covenant.

As you increase your renown, you will receive occasional the "Soulkeeper Upgrade".
Renowned Levels - 15, 24, 32.

There are rumors that you can get a maximum of 20 per week.
So this leads me to assume you will get:
10x per week at Renowned 15.
15x per week at Renowned 24.
20x per week at Renowned 32.

I think the pattern for renowned increases is 2 per week (Although someone correct me if I am wrong).
Starting 5, 5 for the first 7 weeks, 10 for the next (4 or 5) weeks, 15 for the next 4 weeks, then 20 every week after.

So 5 + (5x7=35) + (10x5=50) + (15x4=60) = 5 + 35 + 50 + 60 = 150.
I saw you will need 240 to get all of them.
So 240 - 150 = 90/20 = A bit more than 4 (so 5).
So it will take, 7 + 5 + 4 + 5 = 21 weeks to get all upgrades if playing from the very start.
Optimal catchup on a new character/covenant will take 12 weeks total assuming you are playing your alt after the first 16 weeks.

My math and timing may be off. Someone feel free to check me on this.
Hope it helps all the people who are worried about this taking forever.
We will have it done by Feb/March - Just before the first major patch I'm assuming.

Travel to Oribos and do WHAT? This is so typical of Blizzard's inability to explain their inventions. I've gone through a number of web pages on this and have seen no clear presentation on the steps necessary to acquire 'redeemed souls.' Explanations vary; some indicate I get 5 gratis right away while others say I don't get any until doing quests like 'Do What We Cannot.'

5 souls per week when u need tons of them for upgrades. the worst gating i've ever seen.

While there is a catch up mechanic for renown there is none for this.

Hi all

I get this Quest from 灵魂向导戴丽雅 from My Covenants ( I Think You should have same ).

On This Weekly Quest You need to Rescue Souls in the Maw Best spot to get them 33 44 That can take even 5 min, souls are mark on minimap line small ghosts ( on mini map is showing 45 56 but don't go there and behind bridge to ease to die xD anbd is very low number of souls - i don't know why Blizzard mark this quest over there xD)

5 Souls - 1-14 名望
10 Souls - 15-23 名望

Is looks like will be more souls on higher 名望 but i can't see any quest maby will be some new one.
