Corrupted Blood Incident Is Helping Researchers With The Fight on Coronavirus
For long-time WoW players, the recent Coronavirus pandemic is not the first time they have been dealing with a global-scale disease. In September of 2005, with the original release of the

raid, a virtual plague broke out of the raid and proceeded to kill off entire servers for an entire week. Although the so-called Corrupted Blood incident did not cause any real-life deaths, the virtual pandemic did captivate scientists who played WoW.
In 2007, a research paper was written, mentioning how WoW's original disease spread could be used as a tool to model future epidemics in the real world, and now, more than a decade later, the same paper is being used to help scientists research a cure for the Coronavirus. In an interview with

, researchers mention how the Corrupted Blood incident is helping the fight on the most recent epidemic.

Visions of N'Zoth Assaults for March 13th(NA)/14th (EU) - Aqir in Uldum
It is the middle of the week, which means a minor assault flip has just happened on NA servers! The Amathet disappear from Uldum and the Aqir take over as the driving force behind the minor assault for the rest of the week. EU servers will get their minor assault flip at 8pm CET on Saturday.
With the assault flip, a new set of dailies and events are up in Uldum for people to complete. You have 12 hours from the assault flip to complete these dailies and events before the daily reset.

Ny'alotha Wing 4 LFR is now available, with bosses Carapace of N'Zoth and N'Zoth the Corruptor. The minimum item level to queue up is ilvl 410 and the two final bosses drop loot starting at ilvl 440.

Legendary Cloak Cap Increased to Rank 14 - Details and Requirements
After the Weekly Reset has completed in your region on March 10th (NA) / 11th (EU), the Legendary Cloak cap will be increased to Rank 14. This week, upgrading the Cloak will provide you with more Corruption Resistance, allowing you to wear more Corruption Gear without as many negative effects and more Sanity Resistance, making Horrific Visions even more lenient.
