This is the worst alt "catch up" gear system I have ever seen. 250 flightstones for a RANDOM adventurer level gear. You could send an alt 10 items (2500 flightstones, not cheap) and they could open 10 Belts. Whoever came up with this needs a serious reality check.

I think this is an oversight from the dev team that the gear received is indeed from the mythic dungeon pool, therefore season2 loot, but still is ineligible for converting at the catalyst. My use case was to spend the flightstones for unlocking LFR tint of the S2 Set, however, I've tried each level of the upgrades (398, 402, 405, 408, 411) and neither of them is eligible for converting. Might worth sending in a bug report!

A very niche use for this is getting the rings for 象牙商人的奥獭 - I somehow managed to get 2 out of the 3 rings on one of my alts, then got the last from Algethar Academy quest.

I bought a full 2,000 flightstones worth, that's 8 boxes: 1 weapon, 2 cloaks, 2 necks, 3 rings. I am unhappy. Would this really be broken if you could target gear slots? It's only 398 adventurer gear
