I'm at 59 以物易物砖头 as of yesterday and this is without any exploting and doing everything possible to get my hands on them.
As such I suspect in the next few days these should start appearing on the AH in much higher and cheaper quantity.

Ponzo is quite a nifty trader. Initially, it costs 80 bricks. Once you reach renown 12, you transition from bricks to boulders and he now charges 40 boulders.
You can trade in your bricks to boulders at a rate of 3:1, meaning that it now costs 120 bricks! (But since you now should find boulders instead of bricks, you should still be quicker in gathering them)

Are any of these currencies account bound? It's a grind to get bricks/boulders/ponzo cream/timeshare vouchers. It would be nice if when 1 character maxed out Loamm rep, then all the alts could get some of the recipes.

The quest that you can pick up from your companion snail, called "Bartering Boulders", seems to be what actually has you switch over from Bricks to Boulders for purchases.

I'm renown 12, but have not picked up the quest - Ponzo still shows me items purchasable using Bricks.
