Profession Overview. Here you'll find information on the perks of
草药学
, changes to
草药学
in Dragonflight, ways to make gold with
草药学
, and more - all updated with the latest information!
Changes to Herbalism in Patch 10.2
There is a new type of herb in The Emerald Dream called Overgrown. These herbs have a similar appearance to Lush herbs, but the glow is a bit more yellow (or is it just the atmosphere?)
When you harvest an Overgrown herb, you don't get the herbs right away. It spawns a treant that walks around and lasts for about 5 seconds. Farming the treant yields the herbs.
Some herbs that grow within the Dream have sentience, and will not take lightly to attempts to gather them. They will uproot and flee from their would-be gatherers, but those who are determined may still be able to gather materials from these creatures.
Why is Herbalism Useful in Dragonflight?
草药学
has always been one of the most useful professions in World of Warcraft, since so many professions rely on herbs, and those professions are heavily invested in creating consumables. Alchemists need Herbalists to gather raw materials for potions, phials, cauldrons, and finishing reagents, and those who invest in Inscription need Herbs to create inks used to make nearly all of their items -- runes, sigils, Dragonriding transmogs, profession specialization treatises, contracts, cards, scrolls, and more.
Making Gold with Herbalism
You can make money in Herbalism not just on the herbs, but on the rare side gathers you can get as well. There are five versions of Dragonflight herbs that give you guaranteed drops for
活力之气
,
活力腐朽
,
活力之霜
, and
活力秩序
, all important for creating Awakened reagents used in high-end crafting. It's also a source of
熔火甲虫
, which is used to create
八珍异域香料
, an important ingredient in some high-end Dragonflight cooking.
Since many things made with Herbs falls under the category of "consumables", there will always be a steady market for Herbs!
Learning Herbalism in Dragonflight
Unlike in previous expansions, you
must
learn Dragonflight Herbalism to pick any herbs in the Dragon Isles. In most other expansions, you could still pick herbs without the expansion skill; you just couldn't get skill from it. This is why it's very important to visit your Dragonflight Herbalism trainer before you go running off into the wilds!

Leveling Herbalism
The simple answer is this: herb everything you come across. Once you're past Herbalism 50, prioritize any herbs with modifiers (Frigid, Titan-Touched, etc), as the unmodified herbs will stop giving you skill points, either at 50 (white herbs) or 55 (green herbs).
The Herbalism Journal
Your Herbalism Journal is where you can track your progress with all kinds of herbalism activities. These traits will change based on your level, your Specializations, and any Profession accessories or tools you may be using. Here are two examples of journals from a low-level herbalist versus one with much higher skill:
As you can see, the journal fills in as you make discoveries. With the inexperienced herbalist, only the sections for Hochenblume and Saxifrage are started, because this herbalist has not yet found other types or varieties of herbs. The experienced herbalist has a much fuller list. The colored arrows indicates whether the herbalist can get skill from picking that herb, using the usual Orange, Yellow, and Green indicators, with no arrow if the herb is trivial. It also lists other skills the herbalist may have gotten through Specializations, such as the ability to Refine Herbs from Level 1 to Level 2 for the experienced one.
In addition, you can see information about the difficulty, as well as the modified Skill, Finesse, Deftness, and Perception the herbalist has built through tools and specializations.
Incidentally, there are also journal pages for some of the other expansions, although not all of them will have information beyond the skill level in that expansion's Herbalism. It will only show further information for those few expansions (e.g. Legion) where you got specialized skills in particular herbs.

Dragonflight Herbalism Nodes
Herbalism nodes in Dragonflight have two defining traits:
the type of herb you can collect from it
the node's modifier, which can give extra resources and/or debuffs. Herb nodes can only have 1 modifier.
Base Herb Nodes
霍亨布墨花
and
泡粟花
yield skill until Herbalism (50)*.
虎耳草
and
歪扭树皮
give skill until Herbalism (60).
Base herbs sometimes yield such standard side gathers as
熔火甲虫
,
被唤醒的种子
, and Knowledge-enhancing items such as
注能花粉
.
Knowledge Earned:
+1 Knowledge the first time you pick any new herb type. This earns a total of +4 Knowledge for each of the four base herb types.
霍亨布墨花
泡粟花
虎耳草
歪扭树皮
Incidence of Base Herbs
There are no apparently dedicated herb nodes in the Dragon Isles -- rather, there are some preferences.
Base Herb
Terrain
霍亨布墨花
Widespread in all terrain types
泡粟花
Along coasts, rivers, and inside damp caves
虎耳草
Found in greater numbers on high mountains or cliffs, but can appear nearly anywhere
歪扭树皮
Areas with dense forests or other foliage
Here are some facts about incidence of herb nodes:
There are a set number of herb nodes that will be up in any one zone at a time.
Any
herb node in the Dragon Isles can appear as either
霍亨布墨花
(very common) or
虎耳草
(less common to rare). While
虎耳草
has a slight preference for higher ground, it can appear in any terrain or situation.
泡粟花
and
歪扭树皮
will only appear in their preferred habitat, but these can all be replaced by either
霍亨布墨花
(very common) or
虎耳草
(less common to rare). A
泡粟花
will not appear where a
歪扭树皮
would appear, or vice versa.
Nearly all Elemental modifiers can appear in any terrain, although there are also type preferences that are listed below.
Important note to all herbalists:
The most common spawn to appear in any node is an unmodified
霍亨布墨花
.
Until it's picked, it cannot spawn something different, more interesting, or more valuable. If all players skip picking normal
霍亨布墨花
, eventually the entire zone could be replaced by nothing but
霍亨布墨花
. This is a common issue on highly populated servers. If you want to keep interesting things spawning, it's important to stop and clear nodes of unmodified
霍亨布墨花
. Consider this an exercise in weeding.
Herb Node Modifiers
There are six modifiers any standing Herb node can have:
Decayed, Frigid, Infurious, Lush, Titan-Touched,
and
Windswept
. These tend to be more common in certain areas than others, and every Herb node can appear with any of these modifiers. Most modified nodes also yield higher base herb rates. Five of the six also offer standard secondary
Rousing
item gathers.
Any herb node can spawn as either an Unmodified or Modified, with Unmodified being the more common.
Herbalists who specialize in specific modified herbs will get additional bonus effects from picking them. These are explained in more detail under Specializations.
Knowledge Earned:
You earn +1 Knowledge the first time you pick any new subtype of each of the four base herbs.
For example, you will get +1 Knowledge the first time you farm a
冷冽霍亨布墨花
, a
腐朽霍亨布墨花
, a
腐朽虎耳草
, etc. This will give you a maximum of +24 Knowledge points from discovery of each subtype. If an herb you pick is both your first one of that herb type and the first type of the herb AND modifier, such as
啸风泡粟花
, you would learn +1 Knowledge for the Bubble Poppy and +1 Knowledge for a Windswept version of the Bubble Poppy.
Five of the six types are
Elemental
nodes. This means that not only do they drop Rousing elemental items, but some of these can also modified with an ability called a
过载元素草药
if you specialize into Elemental herbs. This will be explained later in the guide.
All
Modified
herbs give skill up through 100. They are in alphabetical order, not in order of frequency:
Decayed
Node Type
: Elemental
Secondary Gather
:
活力腐朽
腐朽霍亨布墨花
,
腐朽泡粟花
,
腐朽虎耳草
,
腐朽歪扭树皮
Appears as a flower with an unhealthy-looking green swirl around the base. Picking a Decayed herb gives
遍体腐朽
, a 10-minute disease debuff that slows movement speed, reduces stats, and inflicts a small nature-based DoT. Jumping can help you clear the disease, but it's quicker if you have access to a disease-clearing spell such as
净化疾病
or
暗影斗篷
, or a potion with a disease curing property such as
灵魂净化药水
from the last expansion (these tend to be cheap and work well).
Herbalists can specialize in Decayed herbs, reducing the negative effects and giving special bonuses.
Decayed can be quite difficult to find, usually occurring in areas populated by a lot of nasty Elite mobs. Although it can be in any zone, I've found it most often in the Brackenhide Hollow area of Azure Span.
Herbalists with 20 points invested in the
栽培
sub-tree under
植物学
can sometimes get
被唤醒的腐朽种子
as a side gather. When planted in
肥沃的土壤
, it will spawn one of the four base herbs as a Decayed version. You can also buy
被唤醒的腐朽种子
on the Auction House; this is often the easiest way to get these herbs for Knowledge.
Frigid
Node Type
: Elemental
Secondary Gather
:
活力之霜
Cold winds swirl around the base of Frigid herb nodes. Clicking it will create a huge ice sheet around it that lasts for 12 seconds. This doesn't damage any neutral mobs, so don't worry about getting unexpected aggro.
If you can't blink, leap, or gate out of it and try to walk, you'll get the
滑倒
effect, knocking you down and getting Stunned for 2 seconds. You can also just stand still until the effect wears off. You can also just get on your Dragonriding mount and do a vertical take-off, whether you can herb while mounted or not.
Herbalists can specialize in Frigid herbs, which removes the Slipping effect and gives bonuses.
Infurious
Node Type
: Elemental - War Mode Only
Secondary Gather
:
活力暴怒
Infurious herbs
only
appear when you are in War Mode. While players who do not normally do War Mode do not need
活力暴怒
, which is traded for PvP gear, it's worth going after each of the four Infurious herbs once, since you do get valuable
巨龙群岛草药知识
Points for adding these to your Journal.
Gathering an Infurious herb gives
战斗狂怒
, which gives a chance when slaying enemy players to gain Rousing Ire. Further herb gathering extends the duration.
Lush
Node Type
: Standard
Secondary Gather
: None
Lush herbs are rich versions of the herb and yield more of the primary gather. Unlike the other affixed herbs, they don't offer a dedicated Rousing gather.
Lush herbs grow considerably larger than their normal counterparts. For example, while the Writhebark commonly appears as a low arch on the ground, the Lush version forms into a tall spiral.
Overgrown
Node Type
: Standard
Secondary Gather
: None
Overgrown herbs resemble Lush nodes, but only grow within The Emerald Dream. They yield more than an average herbalism node, but you have to work for it. You don't get the herb directly from the node; instead, you will need to chase after a spawned treant to farm the herbs.
Titan-Touched
Node Type
: Elemental
Secondary Gather
:
活力秩序
Titan-Touched herb nodes often in very out-of-the-way places that involve having to use Dragonriding to reach, and/or very close to dangerous mobs.
You gain
启迪潜能
when gathering a Titan-Touched node, which increases speed by 15%. Gatherers who specialize in Titan-Touched will also have their secondary profession stats increased by 3%.
Windswept
Node Type
: Elemental
Secondary Gather
:
活力之气
Windswept herb nodes appear similar to Frigid nodes, although they tend to be more like little wind vortexes rather than icy clouds. These are often found in high areas you can only reach through Dragonriding, but occasionally you'll find them lower down.
Picking a Windswept node will result in
轻风萦绕
, and you will be blown several feet away, twice in random directions, over about an 10-second period. This can be very dangerous if you haven't cleared hostile mobs for the area, or if you're standing near a ledge. Being thrown will not knock you out of Stealth or Prowl.
Other methods of foiling the Windswept:
Get the ability to herb while mounted (see below). Being thrown around on a flying mount does nothing harmful.
Use Slow Fall or Levitate to slow you down.
Make sure you have some
地精滑翔器工具包
s hotkeyed.
Try to summon your Dragonriding mount the second you pick the herb. Much of the time, you can get on the dragon before
轻风萦绕
hits.
Deploy your
时髦的黑色遮阳伞
before you pick. It works in the Dragon Isles (unlike other expansion-specific slow fall toys such as the
健壮巨龙飞羽
).
You can eliminate all the negative aspects of this by investing your first 40 Knowledge points into the
植物学
tree and getting the ability to herb while mounted. Just make sure you're mounted before you pick!
Herbalists can also specialize in Windswept herbs, which first reduces the amount of pushback, and later gives you an automatic slow fall if you go more than 40 yards.
Using the Overloaded Elemental Herb
Every herbalist receives
过载元素草药
the first time they pick an Elemental herb (Decayed, Frigid, Infurious, Titan-Touched, or Windswept). This item has a 12-hour cooldown until you open the the
控制元素
tree.
Opening
控制元素
allows you to reduce the cooldown by picking more herbs within the Dragon Isles. At the beginning, every 2 herbs reduces the cooldown by 1 hour, so you can clear the entire cooldown at once by picking 24 herbs. The first herb you pick only takes off a couple minutes, and the second herb knocks off the rest of the hour. You can further reduce the cooldown through Specialization points.
Out of the five, Decayed, Frigid, and Windswept give extra herbs and Rousing Essence. Infurious gives a buff and Titan-Touched spawns a portal that may or may not take you to another herb node (and it may or may not be an elemental one). Out of the three that do give extras, Windswept yields the most, but it will partly depend on whether you want Rousing Decay, Frost, or Air.
To use the
过载元素草药
, stand in front of the herb in question, cast
过载元素草药
, and you'll get a special effect based on the type of Herb:
Decayed
Overloading a Decayed herb spawns a
枯萎的歪扭树皮
that scales to your level. When killed, this gives more
活力腐朽
, in addition to whatever drops off the original herb.
You can overload Decayed herbs you get from using a
被唤醒的腐朽种子
in
肥沃的土壤
. Given how rare Decayed herbs are, this is the most certain way to get your overload credit for this. You can also make sure to do this in an area that's not surrounded by elites, which is where most Decayed herbs seem to spawn.
A face (?) only a mother could love.
Infurious
Remember - you must be in War Mode to get an Infurious herb.
When you Overload an Infurious herb, you get a 10-minute buff,
血腥过载
, which increases your size and increases your stats by 10%. It also knocks back any enemies that might be nearby.
Frigid
Spawns an
过载之霜
, a neutral Silver Elite mob that spawns
冰冷的草药
nodes. You can attack the
过载之霜
as well; it doesn't fight back, and more fades away than dies. It drops several
冰冷的草药
nodes that you can loot for random herbs and
活力之霜
, and then it disappears.
Overloaded Frost, Frozen Herb nodes
冰冷的草药
nodes look like giant ice cubes with
活力之霜
inside. These gives 2-5
活力之霜
per cube, as well as random
雪球
s. These can be looted before or after you kill the mob. You might want loot these before attacking the
过载之霜
, since other people can loot these as well and that will start the timer for them to disappear.
Titan-Touched
Spawns a Titan Portal. Make sure you loot the Titan-Touched herb before you touch the shiny portal. Now step through the portal to be teleported to a random nearby herb node. You won't get a portal back unless you invest all 40 points into Titan-Touched.
Note that the nearest herb may be deep in hostile territory. Be prepared for anything.
Windswept
Launches you into the air. While falling, you fall down through flowers in the air, collecting 2-4 random herb per flower plus
活力之气
. You need to steer to try to pick up as many as you can. It's a bit like some of the falling-through-circles World Quests from Shadowlands on a smaller scale.
Don't pick the Windswept herb right after you Overload it!
Overload it, get thrown into the air, collect your flowers, and
then
pick it when you land. Otherwise, the
轻风萦绕
effect will blow you off course, making it unlikely you'll be able to pick any of the herbs on the way down. Watching how the flowers spawn as you go up can help you plan your way down. You likely won't get all of them if they're widely scattered, but it's fun to try.
Don't Overload a Windswept herb that's directly underneath a tree or an overhang.
If you do and you hit an obstruction before you can get full height, it will cancel the falling-through-flowers part. You'll still get Knowledge and credit for having done it, but you won't get the best part of the Overload.
Advanced Trick:
That said, if you find a Windswept herb that is next to a straight pillar (absolutely NO overhang), stand back from it as far as you can to Overload and set it off. This gives you a chance to set off a situation where the herbs line up perfectly straight along the side of the pillar, meaning you can just aim for the top one and fall straight through every last one of them.
Growing Your Own with Seedlings
A rare side gather for all Herbalism nodes is a
被唤醒的种子
. While you're out looking for herbs, you may find a mound of
肥沃的土壤
-- this is where you can plant your Roused Seedling. Good places to look are near waterways.
Stand near the
肥沃的土壤
and click your
被唤醒的种子
. This will create a Self-Grown version of one of the four standard herbs, plus a few random Rousing Essence. Self-Grown does not count as a modifier in that it doesn't give
巨龙群岛草药知识
-- it's just for extra harvesting. Picking a Self-Grown herb also does not trigger
驭龙者之育
.
There are other Roused Seedlings you can get through the sub-specialization
栽培
under the Herbalism specialization Botany. You can also buy/sell them through the Auction House:
被唤醒的增殖种子
- sends out several nodes to pick of random herb types, all of which drop various Rousing Essences. You can get any Essences, even ones not normally found from herbs (except Rousing Ire, even in War Mode).
被唤醒的腐朽种子
- sprouts a random herb type in the Decayed variety. These can be self-grown and picked for first-credit Decayed skill on the four herb types, which is often much easier than trying to find them in the wild. You can even use your
过载元素草药
for even more
活力腐朽
, as well as Knowledge credit the first time you Overload a Decayed node.
被唤醒的焦躁种子
- spawns an
被激怒的幼芽
. Loot is terrible, but you can herb-skin it for a fantastic array of herbs and Rousing Essence. Can only be herb-skinned for goodies once per day.
Specializations and Knowledge Points in Dragonflight
Each Profession has its own Specialization Tree. Crafting profession trees focus on learning new recipes, creating items to improve your crafting, and increasing crafting Secondary Skills, which allow players to create better items. Gathering profession trees improve gathering yields, give better chances of collecting rare items, allow gathering while mounted, and even give one gathering profession a small crafting component. Secondary Skills (Fishing and Cooking) do not have specialization trees.
Unlocking Specializations requires a minimum skill level of 25 in that profession. You use Knowledge Points earned in various ways to unlock various branches of the Specialization tree.
What are Knowledge Points?
Knowledge is a new currency that you will acquire during Dragonflight. These points can be spent in your profession's Specialization Trees to improve your crafting ability.
Knowledge Point changes are permanent!
Once you use a Knowledge Point and save your changes, you will not be able to adjust it later.
The way you spend Knowledge is very important. While it is possible to learn everything a Specialization has to offer, this system is meant to take a significant time investment to maximize. Because
there is no current way to refund Knowledge
, choosing starter builds wisely is crucial.
Unlearning the profession and then re-acquiring it will
not
reset or refund spent Knowledge Points.
You will get back everything you'd learned through Specialization, as well as any unspent points, although you'll still return to Skill (1) and have to re-learn any recipes.
There are many different ways to earn Knowledge Points, including but not limited to first-time gathers, random drops, special trainers, quests, and Renown. For complete and up-to-date information on earning Knowledge Points, please see our guides:
Earning Profession Knowledge Points in Dragonflight Knowledge Point Treasure Locations
Profession Traits in Herbalism
Herbalists have three Profession traits: Deftness, Finesse, and Perception. These are raised primarily through Specializations. Although these can be more complicated, the tl;dr version is below:
Deftness:
Increases how fast you pick herbs. 3 points of Deftness gives +1%.
Finesse:
Allows you to extract more herbs from nodes. 10 points of Finesse gives +1%.
Perception:
Increases your chance of finding rare side gathers, including extra Rousing Essence and
注能花粉
. 10 points of Perception gives +1%.
Herbalism Specializations in Dragonflight
This section summarizes the three Specialization trees for Herbalism.
Herbalism Specialization Guide Herbalism Profession Tree Calculator in Dragonflight
Bountiful Harvests
Learning
大丰收
gives you extra skill when picking herbs. It also allows you to Refine herbs by combining 5 herbs of a lower quality to the next higher quality.
Refining is a nearly guaranteed money-losing proposition, since no quality of herb generally sells for 5x the price of the next lower quality.
You can also learn
园艺
,
树木栽培
,
真菌培养
, and
花卉栽培
, which improves your Skill when picking those herbs, giving you a greater chance to get higher quality. It also improves your Perception, Deftness, and Finesse for those herbs.
Given all these factors, it makes more sense to develop other trees before this one.
Botany
植物学
improves your ability to pick all herbs, thus improving both quality and quantity. Maxxing Botany also gives you the ability to herb while mounted in the Dragon Isles.
You can sub-specialize in
栽培
, allowing you to gather more seeds as well as different, improved types of seeds from herbs. This is not only fun -- it also gives you a chance to collect more herbs and more Rousing Essences.
栽培
also improves your Perception and the chance to get even more Rousing Essences. This should be one of your first sub-trees to fill out.
You can also sub-specialize in
熟谙
, which improves your use of your Herbalism tools. Further investment also allows you to cultivate herbs on plant creatures and gives you a chance to loot Rousing elements when gathering from them. It also gives you bonuses with Lush nodes. Plant mobs are not that plentiful, but the tree is useful for building other secondary skills.
Mastering the Elements
Choosing
控制元素
gives you +1 Skill per point when picking Elemental herbs. While you will now get the
过载元素草药
when you first pick an Elemental Herb, this tree allows you to reduce the 12-hour cooldown by picking herbs. It also improves skill picking Elemental herbs, allowing you to extract more Rousing elements from them.
You can also specialize in any or all Elemental herbs except Infurious, reducing or eliminating their negative effects and giving you greater Deftness, Finesse, and Perception gathering these special nodes.
Herbalism Accessories and Tools in Dragonflight
Herbalism allows two Herbalism Accessories and one Herbalism Tool to improve your Herbalism skill. Higher skill gives higher yields and a better chance to pick higher-quality herbs.
The great thing about Profession Accessories is that you'll automatically "equip" them when you pick herbs (your appearance will even change) but they will not actually replace your head armor, cloak, or weapon. The appearance may linger after you're done picking herbs, but it will change when you enter combat.
If you prefer to have your profession accessories and tool
not
appear as often while you're not picking herbs, visit
玛赫拉·折树
in Ruby Life Pools, /way 61, 70, to set your preferences for your display. Just ask her about Profession tools, and you will get the following dialogue. Choose the second option to limit how much you see your gathering equipment:

Dragonriding and Herbalism
One of the most useful things you can do to build your gathering ability is to invest some time into getting all or most of your Dragonriding glyphs. Thankfully, once you have done this on one character, you don't have to repeat the process on others, but your first gatherer should make this a top priority.
For more information about Dragonriding and improving your Dragonriding skill, please see this guide:
Dragonriding Basics in Dragonflight
Every Herbalist will have this question: can I herb while mounted in Dragonflight?
The answer is yes, but you'll need to invest 40 Knowledge points into the
植物学
Specialization tree to get that ability. Fortunately, this is also one of the best overall trees, so you're wasting nothing.
The two key features for Dragonriding that you want to focus on as a gatherer are Vigor and Vigor Regeneration when not flying. Mostly the Dragonriding skill path is linear, but there are a few points when you need to make choices. For active gatherers, these are our recommendations for the decision points:
Choice:
驭龙者的怜悯
over
驭龙者的突袭
驭龙者的怜悯
builds stacks of
驭龙者的怜悯
while airborne, giving you an absorb shield and 1% movement speed per stack (up to 10) upon landing. This gives you some protection and foot speed when you land near a node, which can help if you didn't land quite next to it as you'd intended.
驭龙者的突袭
can be dangerous for a gatherer due to the shockwave, especially since many times you'll find either Neutral or hostile mobs near a desirable node. You could turn a situation where you could have gathered in peace into a fight when it wasn't necessary.
Choice:
驭龙者之育
over
巨龙捕猎
驭龙者之育
will help you keep going longer between gathers. This was improved to increasing your Vigor recharge rate by 400% for 3 seconds. Anything that improves your Vigor recharge rate is great, since you're a start-and-stop Dragonrider. If you're a more casual farmer who just does this on the side of questing and fighting,
巨龙捕猎
isn't a bad choice, although
驭龙者之育
still gives you much better Vigor recovery. Even casual players may choose to land on a node simply for the boost.
Choices:
渴望苍穹
,
自在云霄
, and
浩瀚无限
At the end of your Dragonriding tree, you'll get to branch off into three choices. This is the order we recommend for a gatherer. You'll eventually get all three.
渴望苍穹
should be your first pick. Since gatherers are always starting and stopping, improved Vigor regeneration over time is a bit speedier than getting a sixth Vigor bubble.
自在云霄
generates 1 Vigor every 5 seconds. The only reason we don't take this one first is that this is a great thing to have in some zones but not as helpful in others. It's great in Waking Shores and Thaldraszus, where there are big elevation changes and it's easy to get those swoops going. It's not as useful in flatter ranges such as Ohn'ahran Plains or especially in Azure Span, where your opportunities for Thrill of the Skies aren't as good.

Did they make proffesions a little bit too complicated or is just my lazyness to read this guide in detail? And if you are an altoholic and end up doing all proffesions in the game all this reading to do before you even start its like you are in college again and you have a ton of homework.
I mean i wanted some changes, like personal beneffits. Once upon a time it meant something when you had a proffesion: a buff or an extra enchant etc. Its too much now!

I've been Herb/Miner on my Druid which is also my main since forever because there was no real benefit of being anything else except for small cosmetic stuff.
Am I now missing out on big advantages if I don't change my main to be something else like Leatherworking in Dragonflight or is it fine if I just stay Herb/Miner?

The npc that is "supposed" to hide your crafting/gathering equipment when you are not using them, does not work, no matter what I do, herbing and mining equipment still show up long after I have stopped gathering, and still show up when entering combat. I have to manually click the stupid icon off to get rid of the tools... Option to "hide" does not work.

I have a couple of questions :)
- Can you buy all the profession equipment or are you limited to only having 1?
- Can you put them in the bank or do you have to carry them around?

About decayed herbs: "...and inflicts a small nature-based DoT."
Are you serious?, my DK Blood with 151k hp, get ticks for 35k each. Even with Anti-Magic Shield, Vampiric Blood and Healing pot, I can't jump fast enough to avoid it to burn me out. Maybe it's a bug, or maybe I need mythic gear to gather herbs, but right now, unless you are a pally, a Rogue, a healer or anybody that can dispel diseases, you gather a decayed herb, you die, period.

Can someone explain me how to get level 3 herbs?
The herbalism book says for example
- Main difficulty 140 to gather the main component at its max quality (translated from french)
- I have 155 comp
I still gather level 2 herbs 🤔

Once you're past Herbalism 50, prioritize any herbs with modifiers (Frigid, Titan-Touched, etc), as the unmodified herbs will stop giving you skill points, either at 50 (white herbs) or 55 (green herbs).
Unless I'm mistaken, gather EVERY herb, even the lower ones. You need to cycle the lower ones out to give the higher herbs a chance to spawn.

Had a Titan Touched hurb Portal teleport me out of the map by mistake and forced me to use the service that moves you to the closest grave yard because the game would keep disconnecting me

I personally found the best way to level up to max for Herbalism (Mining also) was in Zaralek Caverns. The new "lambient herbs", and "metamorphic ore" are a titan sent! Be prepared, there are a lot of others zooming about doing the same thing, but you can max out either profession in an hour or so.
