I figured this was coming, now that achievments are account bound. For this achievment one requires maximum skills in every proffession in the game besides fishing/cooking/archaelogy.
Here is just a quick rundown of all the proffessions you will need and what they are used for:
Blacksmithing:
Smith various metal weapons as well as mail and plate armor and other useful trade goods like keys, shield-spikes and weapon chains to prevent disarming. Blacksmiths can also make items from stone to temporarily buff weapons. Blacksmiths can also socket one-handed weapons, bracers, and gloves.
Leatherworking:
Work leathers and hides using such items as thread and salts into goods such as leather armor and armor kits. Leatherworkers can also make very low level cloth capes and, after level 40, sets of mail armor. Other things they can craft are different bags, drums giving various buffs and abilities, and riding crops.
Tailoring:
Sew all sorts of cloth goods, including cloth armor and many kinds of bags. Also weave raw cloth items such as linen cloth into bolts of that type of cloth. Other crafted goods are nets to slow enemies with, flying carpets to ride on, and magical threads which empowers items they are attached onto. Usually requires various types of thread to make finished items.
Enchanting:
Extract magical dusts, essences and shards for use to enchant various attributes, powers, and properties to all sorts of equipable items. Enchanters can also make a few low-level wands, as well as oils that can be applied to weapons providing a temporary buff. All Enchanters make their own magical rods which they need in order to cast enchantments. The disenchanting ability available to all enchanters could be considered the "gathering component" to enchanting.
Inscription:
Create glyphs that modify existing spells and abilities for all classes. Also creates buff scrolls which were previously only looted items and some offhand books and trinkets which often provides different spells. A scribe can also create vellums for storing enchantments performed by Enchanters for later use, scrolls which can teleport the scribe around in the world (or to a random location if the user is past the scroll's level limit) and Darkmoon Cards. Inscription comes with the ability to mill herbs to create pigments, needed to craft inks. scribes can enchant their shoulders.
Alchemy:
Mix potions, elixirs, flasks, oils and other alchemical substances (usually liquid) using herbs and other reagents. The concoctions you create can temporarily ward against any kind of magic and power any attribute. Most recipes require various types of vials. High level alchemists can also transmute essences and metals into other essences and metals. Alchemists can specialize as a Master of Potions, Master of Elixirs, or a Master of Transmutation.
Jewlcrafting:
Craft rings, necklaces, BoP trinkets, jeweled headpieces and all kinds of powerful gems giving all kinds of attributes to be placed in special armor or weapons. No matter what class you are, being a Jewelcrafter is always useful as powerful BoP-gems can improve any stat and attributes you need. The extra ability of Prospecting comes with this craft, which allows you to prospect minerals from raw ore (that has been mined but not smelted), thus supplying you with the raw / uncut gems you need.
Engineering:
Engineer mechanical devices, trinkets, guns, ammunition, goggles, and explosives, such as grenades, explosive sheep, mechanical pets, etc. Pretty much, being an Engineer gives you all sorts of unconventional and sometimes useful abilities. Usually these items are crafted with metal, minerals, and stone. Most engineering products can only be used by engineers. While not as profitable as the other professions, Engineering is often taken to be one of them most entertaining ones. Engineers can specialize as Goblin or Gnomish engineers.
Skinning:
Skin skinnable corpses for hides, leather, and scales. Requires a

. Gives increased crit.
Mining:
Mine ore, minerals, various gems and stone from protruding veins or deposits. Requires a
http://mop.wowhead.com/item=2901
. The smelting sub-profession uses a Forge to smelt the ore into bars of metal (Smelting works like a crafting profession.) Grants increased Stamina.
Herbalisim:
Harvest herbs from the ground and some dead mobs. Grants a haste buff.
This achievment will most likley require 6 toons to complete.

Already got 9 of the 11 Primaries to 525 on one account... this one will be easy.

Any idea on whether you need to have them all maxed
simultaneously
?
Otherwise it could be possible to, for instance, max some profs and get a "check-mark" for them, then drop them and switch to two different profs without levelling a separate toon. Has anyone tried this?

hiteSPARKYZ
In case it isn't clear, max level refers to 600, meaning you could only get this once Mist of Pandaria comes out and you buy it.
And a quick reminder, there are 11 different professions, meaning you will need 6 toons unless you want to drop professions.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

Got this today however it didnt 'Ding' the achievement for all to see and only showed in my achievements list when i logged out and back in again.
most dissappointed :(

Earned this today with 600 in all skills.
None of my qualifying characters were affected by racial +skill which would appear to require whatever their max is to qualify
Primary professions only, secondaries have their own achievement
习艺如参禅
Gives nothing except 50 points, which adds on to the 25 given by the previous achievement
多面手
for 5 trades for a total of 75 displayed. Did not even qualify to be in the guild news, wheras some guy winning 25 lvl 1 pet battles in a row did. Seems a bit lame really, given how much effort it took.

I am curious to you have to have all 11 professions maxed at one time or could you max a proffesion, drop it and get another maxed and still get credit? any confirmations?

Such garbage. Got this achievement today, but it did not give a pop up telling me I got it and it did not broadcast to the guild that I got it.
It just showed up in my achievement window as if it had always been there. I worked hard maxing everything and I got no sense of accomplishment at all because it wasn't given...

I have all but 2 professions maxed, and none of them are showing as completed inside this meta achievement.
So when you down rate something, why not go ahead and tell someone WHY while you're at it? Just a thought. By the way, these professions are still not showing in the meta. On any toon. Not even the ones I have maxed on that specific toon.

Why is there not a realm first for this if there is for each of them?

You do
NOT
need to have every profession maxed
simultaneously
.
You earn credit for maxing each profession with any toon and its assigned permanently as completed criteria on the achievement. That credit does not disappear if you unlearn the maxed profession. I just earned the achievement by unlearning Herbalism, maxing Skinning in its place, unlearning that and then maxing Engineering in its place.

done that except Leatherworking so far, this should give more points. 50 points for hours of farming, lots of gold spending, eventually not enough imho. At least a title or something would have been nice.

If I unlearn a profession and would like to pick it up again sometime, would I need to start over. It is herbalism and it is maxed out but I would like to try engineering. not sure that I want to lose everything that went into leveling herbalism

If someone is intending to go for Master of All (assuming simultaneously), primary professions planning is recommended. Considering that after skilling +11 profs, you don't want to be switching around just for additional bonuses that you haven't thought of before. Take note that all primary professions require 6 characters simultaneously. If you fancy all active specializations including two Engineers and three Alchemists you need to max 14 profs and 7 characters.
I will give notes about what prof to put on what class, role and in combination with what. In bold is alliance, cursive is horde, g&c stands for gather & craft.

Mining is the most annoying prof when it comes to planning gather&craft, as it supplies three underlying crafting profs. Engineering is the only prof beneficial for farming veins (gas clouds & Volatile Airs) and is the prefered partner. This allows you to take BS&JC as combo on another character.
Druids benefit greatly from Swift Flight Form when herbing: it won't cancel the form, although you are required to be on the ground this saves a lot of time. The same bonus applies to Skinning, although this requires dead mobs you usually need to kill yourself. Mining cancels Flight Form.
Herbalism and Mining is the way to go gathering wise, if you deem ignoring the Mining/Engineering tandem worthwhile. Even though Swift Flight Form is cancelled whilst Mining, Druids are still unarguably the quickest gatherers as they save time whilst herbing and can instant mount after mining.
When you take a gatherer, you'd want to combine Blacksmithing & Engineering, instead of BS & JC. JC is largely dependent on ores, the others on bars.
Character suggestions combining all of this the most efficient, using gather and craft (best for a casual player):
草药学

炼金术

德鲁伊
牛头人
.
采矿
&
工程学
on a

侏儒

.
铭文
&
炼金术
on a
地精
.
炼金术
&
工程学
on a

or
侏儒
, whichever applies.
And with a gatherer I'd change the top three as follows:
草药学
&
采矿
on a
德鲁伊
牛头人
.
锻造
&
工程学
on a plate
侏儒
.
珠宝加工
&

.

All eleven of the professions are checked and green for me, yet I don't have the achievement. Does anyone else experience this?
评论来自

This Achievement is NOT bugged, but the criteria display is sometimes wrong.
The criteria says: "Raise five different primary professions to the maximum skill level." Meaning currently in MOP you have to have 5 professions on 600, it does NOT count to have the criteria of the achievement marked "green" (this can happens even if you reached the criteria in previous expansions when the requirements were lower).
So log on to your toons and check if you really have 5 professions @ 600 - do not trust the achievement overview.

Disclaimer: I don't know much about WoW scripting or macroing. This is a result of some clever guesswork and hints from others.
So I have the "bug" where everything is green but I don't have the achievement. I wanted to know exactly which professions I still needed to max, and I came up with something. Enter the following (one line at a time) in the chat box (or use a macro for 6 at a time):
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 1)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 2)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 3)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 4)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 5)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 6)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 7)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 8)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 9)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 10)
/dump GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(7379, 11)
Here is my result at the time of this posting:
"Alchemy", 7, true, 600, 600, nil, 0, 171, "600", 5565, true
"Blacksmithing", 7, true, 1, 600, nil, 0, 164, "1", 5566, true
"Enchanting", 7, true, 600, 600, nil, 0, 333, "600", 5567, true
"Engineering", 7, true, 600, 600, nil, 0, 202, "600", 5722, true
"Herbalism", 7, true, 600, 600, nil, 0, 182, "600", 5569, true
"Inscription", 7, true, 600, 600, nil, 0, 773, "600", 5716, true
"Jewelcrafting", 7, true, 600, 600, nil, 0, 755, "600", 5571, true
"Leatherworking", 7, true, 600, 600, nil, 0, 165, "600", 5718, true
"Mining", 7, true, 600, 600, nil, 0, 186, "600", 5573, true
"Skinning", 7, true, 525, 600, nil, 0, 393, "525", 5720, true
"Tailoring", 7, true, 75, 600, nil, 0, 197, "75", 5575, true
As far as I can tell, the 4th and 5th sets of data is what we are looking for. The 4th number appears to be the max skill level registered to the achievement. The 5th number is the the skill level needed to trigger the achievement. By my results, I have had no characters that have leveled Blacksmithing, Skinning, or Tailoring to 600 (which is in-line with what I expected). It appears I once had skinning at 525, which I also believe is correct as I recall dropping skinning for enchanting on a character in Cataclysm.
What is still sort of puzzling is the green checkmarks besides Tailoring and Blacksmithing. According to the output, I've only had tailoring to 75 and blacksmithing to 1. If that's the case, why do I have green check marks? Maybe I had them maxed in Wrath, and they've changed the achievement data since then? I also noticed that the data on the armory page is very inconsistent as well. While blacksmithing, tailoring, and skinning did not have green checks, neither did mining or leatherworking. What a mess!
Anyway, hopefully this helps someone else out. It would really suck to drop a 600 profession to max one you didn't really need.

If you are power-leveling through this achievement, I suggest combining the following professions to speed the process and save you
a lot
of gold:
附魔
and
裁缝
Use your tailoring recipes and create items to
分解
and use those mats for enchanting.
制皮
and
剥皮
采矿
and
锻造
/
工程学
/
珠宝加工
Level mining first and then use
采矿日志
to create all of the necessary bars to level Blacksmithing, Engineering, and Jewelcrafting.
草药学
and
炼金术
/
铭文
Level Herbalism first and pick all of the necessary herbs to level Alchemy and Inscription.

If you're like me, you've had every profession at 600, for quite some time, but not had credit for the Achievement.
If this is the case for you, and your in-game Achievement shows you credited for every Profession, but not credited for the Achievement, go onto the armoury on battle.net and ensure they're all checked there. If not, see which one isn't counted on the Achievements list there.
Why, you ask? Because you might have levelled
附魔
on a
血精灵
. Or perhaps you levelled
珠宝加工
on a
德莱尼
, or if you're a masochist, you may have levelled
工程学
on a
侏儒
or
炼金术
on a
地精
.
Why is this important? Because although you've reached 600
附魔
on a
血精灵
, you've not reached the level that'll trigger the Achievement, which is currently 600 + Racial Bonus.
This means you must reach 610
附魔
on a
血精灵
, 610
珠宝加工
on a
德莱尼
, 615
工程学
on a
侏儒
, and 615
炼金术
on a
地精
.

"Maximum Skill Level" means 600 skill (in MoP). It does NOT mean the maximum your character can learn.
I had 600 skill on various toons in every profession except Tailoring, so I took a low level toon up to 150 skill (technically the "Maximum" it could learn). I actually got the green checkmark, so all professions were 'checked' as complete on the achievement tracker, but the overall achievement was still marked incomplete.
No shortcuts I guess - you need to grind it up to 600.

I wonder, why can't we search the armory and find out who has this achievement completed? Why does this achievement, arguably one of the best in the game, not grant a title "Master"? Why no realm-first?
