do we have to complete a solo to get the cosmetic or can we get them in group?

mount is very special as it can currently be used to mount in the Maw while other mounts cannot.
To get this mount you need complete the all 8 Twisting Corridors Layers. The mount is account-wide and can be used on your other characters.
My progress doing the all 8 layers (195 ilvl BM Hunter):
Each Layer has 18 floors.
Layer 1: ~54 min.
Layer 2: ~1hr 6min. Reward:
死亡追寻者
.
Layer 3: ~1hr 40min.
Layer 4: ~1hr 50min. Reward:
被统御者的头盔
.
Layer 5: ~1hr 32min.
Layer 6: ~1hr 46min. Reward: Title.
Layer 7: ~2hr 11min.
Layer 8: ~2hr 07min (12/18 floors). Reward

.
Total Time Spend: ~13hr 10min. I don't finish the layer 8 because blizz disable Beta servers, but you can get a good sense.

Just finished this up on Proudmoore-US.
209 Blood DK, ~3.5 (give or take... it was probably longer, but I lost the chat timestamps) hours to clear.
I've never been so happy to never see a zone again. Until the next time, of course.

If your run starts in Fracture Chambers or Upper Reaches, you can buy
贪婪的心能单元
to get
髓吸挖掘者
(by using it on the casters; see the page for Ravenous Anima Cell). This can make the run so much easier even though the anima power provides no immediate advantage.
This causes you to get enough phantasma to buy all anima powers from the next vendor (and potentially some other vendors as well).
What worked for me was buying it even on other wings (on floors 6 and 12) just in case the next part was Fracture Chambers or Upper Reaches. If yes, it means you are almost guaranteed to buy everything from the next two vendors. Floor 18 bosses can easily one-shot even tanks (tested on ilvl 196 BDK), so it is best to think long-run.

205 Vengence DH Here.
So, unfortunately I dont have any OP unbalanced skill or anima power for torghast. Stacking Immolation Aura is nice for fast clear on regular mobs, but god damn Floor 16.
I'm a Venthyr. I picked up every dodge chance I got. At the and I had %80 dodge chance for 20 sec for 30 sec windows. But mobs just one shotted me, when they breached that dodge. Some packs are not skippable with 4 elites. 50K dps with 4x2M health with adds one shotting is impossible. At least for me.
Use your friends to complete Layer 8.

Been clearing this with some friends, all around 200 ilvl, prot pally, resto druid, unholy dk. Layers 1 and 2 were very easy, just a long slog. The floors actually get easier as we got deeper because of the insane anima powers. Was hoping to come on here to see if it stays this easy all the way to layer 8. I guess I'll just have to update as time goes on. Torghast tower is much more interesting with friends, these twisting corridors layers take an hour+ and from other reports the higher you go the longer it seems to take. It is fun seeing what powers your friends stack (resto druid doing tens of thousands of dps with roots?)
As the unholy DK I've found I need to think long term and plan out my anima spec in my head. There are a few powers when stacked together turn lackluster powers into godly powers.

Managed to finish this today on My Unholy DK extremely easily thanks to OP Anima Powers. A very obvious strategy in my opinion is to stack
Monstrous Concoction
, it scales well with every type of stat increase and allows for great damage. Next obvious strategy is to combine
Undertaker's Crown
with
Lich Robes
(stacking) and
Skull Bloomer
(stacking). It allows for permanent self heal and strong damage. On Layer 8 this would not be enough to not get one shot on later floors which is why health and damage reduction powers are key.
Boundless Fortitude
with
Tome of Swordplay
allows for great uptime on IbF,
Creeping Decay
(stacking) turns DnD into a great dr cooldown (works well in conjunction with
Death Turf
). Combined with some generic +HP and dr powers makes you invincible.

As shaman enhancement 201 ilvl it is very challenging. The first 5th floors are really easy at this point, but especially the 7th and 8th are really hard. Without luck on anima buffs, I got stuck once at layer 8 floor 12's boss. I tried it again and managed to complete it.
Health bonus + 2x elemental earth cooldown reduction is very important. I would say that the increasing jump buff was also fundamental to beat the last boss as I could quickly jump away when getting hit hard while earth elemental was dead. Probably only important if you are not lucky enough with dps buffs.

Cleared this today as a solo 202 ilvl ret paladin. While through-put powers are obviously important, it cannot be emphasized enough how vital health boosts and defensive boosts are to success here -- floors 16 and 17 are absolutely brutal with how hard the elites and floor bosses hit you. Be very careful with your pulls. I went the entire layer with 5 lives, only to lose all five on those final two floors and killed the floor 18 boss (10 million health btw) by the skin of my teeth.
In my opinion, the soulforges layer torment (10% of health lost via fire damage every five seconds) is by far the easiest to deal with and worth rerolling your start until you get it -- buy a ravenous anima on the third floor and use it on the first caster to get the 65% flame resist power, which makes the torment pretty much ignorable for the rest of the run. My floors 7-12 were unremarkable Mort'regar, just slow and easy. I thought I got lucky with getting Skoldus as my 13-18 floors, but those torment dogs can also hit like a freight train if they get an uninterrupted cast off at the highest floors, so don't underestimate them. Total of two and a half hours spent.

Finished this today with a party of 4
Brewmaster Monk (me)
Resto Shaman
Ele Shaman
Retri Pala
With 5 stacks of
腐蚀药雾
and various other healing and crit buffs and the 975% dmg and healing buff on
骨尘酒
I was reaching upwards of 2mill DPS on some bigger packs much to the frustration of the rest of my party who were getting 1 shot many times over. Also able to build a 0 second cooldown on Touch of Death which was very helpful when walking around with 400k HP.
Would definitely recommend going as a party and never alone.

Completed solo as a 206 ilvl Outlaw Rogue, completion time around 1hr 45 minutes I think-
Last boss took about 3 minutes to kill and had 12 million HP. xD
Obviously boss strategies will change based on which ones you get, however for any outlaw rogues out there-
Run Retractable Hook talent (Shorter CD on Grappling Hook)
Run Marked for Death talent (Lots of trash = free CP = more CD reduction)
I personally run Elusiveness, which will be explained why in a second
Get 3 Slippery Wraithcoils (Grappling hook CD reduction)
Get Restless Onyx Geodes (Grappling hook procs free 15 second long versions of Crimson Vial, Cloak of Shadows, Evasion and Feint*)
*If you run Elusiveness you'll get a 30% damage reduction plus the 40% AoE reduction, so Elusiveness makes all 4 buffs good
Hopefully Get First Steps (400% more damage on your next finisher to all enemies with 8 yards of your grappling hook cast)
Get as many Unceasing Chainlinks and Last Blades as you can for DPS powers, they're quite strong.
Other DPS powers are fine too, stat ones are always nice too of course. Health increasers are super important because you don't want to get 1 shot, of course. I had about
300k HP by the end of my Layer 8 clear and the last boss melee'd for 200k or so damage, so yeah, grab those too. I'd recommend just clearing everything on every floor possible.
Tip- You can walk in and leave Twisting Corridors over and over, and this will change the floor you start on AND the first power you get.
Do this until you get First Steps, as the huge damage boost will make the first 6 floors super easy, and by the time you get above Floor 12 you will REALLY need the DPS.
Basically if you can get those grappling hook powers and the talent, every other finisher will get grappling hook off CD, which means you use it on cooldown, so you get more
free combo points and free defensive procs. It is feasible to have all 4 active at the same time, especially if you roll the Truebearing buff.
Even with all this though, you need to remember to use your CC and utility to the best of your ability. Our DPS really isn't that crazy in Torghast, so we rely on strong utility and immunities
to be able to do this. There are plenty of other powers that are good too, like the Crown of Obstinance which reduces cast speeds of enemies by 30%. This 30% stacks with our Numbing Poison,
meaning bosses cast speeds will be slowed by 45% which makes it really easy to interrupt/stun/gouge/etc all the casts that we need to.
Good luck!

Cleared solo as 185 Warlock, took about 2 hours a layer on average if full clearing every floor.
I had the best luck with rolling my starting floor as assassins/seekers because they are significantly less dangerous than any other torment imo and generally I would try and get Spiced Mawrat for 100% life as starter power as well as this drastically reduces the RNG factor as to whether you find an abundance of max life powers or not as getting clipped by aoe/cleave in the final floors will very likely kill you otherwise and losing your Infernal Intimacy stacks at Floor 13+ is basically the end of the run.
You have such high chance of getting epic powers from bosses that I felt this was the safer option over opting for Infernal Intimacy straight away but YMMV. Maxing out pet life, pet damage, infernal intimacy and other "uncommon" DPS powers was never a problem but the availability of defensive powers varied wildly in my runs.

Cleared it as a mage with the help of a DH.
We discovered that since I could summon rats when I summoned my mage table and he had an anima power allowing him to be in demon shape for 6 more seconds when he killed a rat.... Well I started to summon the heck out of them (using the power that shortens the cooldowns every time I fire a spell, 3 slow falls in between each summoning). He was able to stay as a demon for the whole 3 floors that we had left to clear. Pretty neat to discover that even at the end of the 144 floors you can still find new combinations!
Last boss had 18M hp and lasted 20 seconds.

I completed this as a Vengeance demon hunter, although not solo all the way. VDH's don't have really godlike Anima powers. The best ones to stack are the immolation aura 100% damage, 400% infernal strike, 70% hp glaive throw (only 3 though), immolation aura 50% soul cleave increase. Rest are garbage. Even if stacked correctly, bosses took well over 3 to 5 min to kill (offensive wise, ofcourse stacking crit multiplier, hp, versa are mandatory).
Not to mention, I failed layer 1 for the first time, layer 6 and layer 7 because not a single HP increase came along, so I just called it on floors 13/14 (After boss 2, it ramps up insanely).
My advice is to do this in a group. Like it's so much easier. We completed layer 8 yesterday in a group of 2 druids (restoration and balance), and a retri paladin. I had maybe 2 hp increases. Would 100% die if I would have been alone, but since we had 2 druids with godlike convoke powers, the boss with 56 mil HP lasted for a min tops.
For me personally, it was very fun to do, I had a blast doing it, just the randomness of the Anima powers, the RNG of which you obtain, and the fact that some classes have a bad time versus some being literally one shot machines, is a tad disturbing, but still. Worth every minute.

Want a (relatively) easy mode as MM hunter? Get these powers:
霜寒魔杖
: must have and is the cornerstone of the build. You will be able to kill absolutely anything (even floor 18 boss) before the health starts regenerating. Unfortunately, this power is quite rare, so you can't do it on every run.
斯科杜斯之笛
: stack as much as you can. I think maximum is 3 (+75% damage)
灵钢齿轮
: root effect needs to be triggered to activate the power, but it shouldn't be a problem
威严鹿角碎片
if you're night fae. Is also stackable to increase damage bonus
穿刺望远镜
, also stackable
if you get any of "increase secondary stat with some penalty" powers, take those as well
the rest will be a mix of more common DPS powers (
死灵毒液
is particularly good), Tar Trap slow+size and max health/healing boosts
Then you simply combine these effects to have extremely powerful burst:
Double Tap
Hunter's Mark
Throw Tar Trap
in front
of the target - you need them to move to trigger Binding Shot, which won't happen with 95% trap slow
Use Binding Shot to pull the target
Start the normal Wild Spirits/Trueshot rotation with lust, Torghast damage pot and whatever else you want
For smaller mobs use whatever is available (trap and mark are usually enough).
With this approach I instantly melted all the elite mobs and gatekeepers, and killed layer 8 floor 18 boss in 6 seconds with 1.32mil DPS.

Managed to solo it on my iLvl 190 Warrior. Went with Arms spec for quicker
判罪
with Knockdown (
破傲者铁砧
), Cleave (
横扫攻击
) and
invulnerability due to (basically) infinite
剑在人在
with
不羁坚韧
.
I personally consider
破傲者铁砧
the most important Anima Power, followed by
贪婪剪除之刃
.
So when starting out you should make sure that you get either one of them from the very first Anima Cell.
I've had runs where I only ever got one of the two. But especially without
破傲者铁砧
you will have some
serious survivability problems on the later floors with casters, since
剑在人在
will only make you immune to
most physical attacks. The only other danger on later floors are Archers and Interceptors since
剑在人在
won't
protect you from their ranged attacks either.
Most other powers are pretty useless. The only other two powers of interest would be
扭曲的绞索
and
阴燃惯性
, since you will be
doing nothing but charging / jumping into a pack and using
判罪
with
横扫攻击
all day long. Once
横扫攻击
runs out
be sure to focus down the casters or archers as quickly as possible.
Should you get unlucky with your floor 18 boss and get one that drops gunk on the floor even through the constant knockdown, you should also
aim to get
奥古迪姆之拳
so you can reposition them out of their gunk and charge into them for the extra damage through
阴燃惯性
.
At the end I had around 150k HP and my DPS was around 180k. The fight took about 3 minutes but with no real danger of dying at any time.
Though I was lucky and got
崩毁之护
and the last boss vendor, which allowed me to ignore
帕特里西安·克伦威尔
's
罪恶蔓延
gunk for half the fight.
After that I just had to reposition him with
奥古迪姆之拳
a couple of times.

Also a quick note; The affixes i.e Coldheart Debuff giving Health % to mobs and so on, seems to be random depending on the day.
I was doing some layers at 4-5 am in the morning and got same affixes every new layer until reset time hits 8am where it changed and it was 2 new affixes for the remaining.
Bonus fact: the last boss on floor 18 layer 8 with Coldheart Buff (45% increased health) had 11.87M health (it was the Obleron Devourer)

Well, it took me 3 attempts, but I finally beat TC today! Here was my experience:
On my first attempt with 5 people, we ended up on floor 16 with almost no lives left. The mobs hit us super hard, like one-shot hard. We finally lost our last lives to an elite mob with chains/shackles (the ones you can only get out of by stunning the mob. By this floor, the chains were practically a one-shot mechanic). That was game over.
My second attempt was also with 5 people. We made it to floor 18 with 10 lives. The boss was Binder Baritas, and it just decimated our 10 lives (and then some) in one pull. By the time The Tarragrue was on his way up, the boss was still at half health. Not sure how we are expected to beat that boss.
My final attempt was with a group of 4 (tank, healer, and 2 dps). I was very surprised at how well it went. By the time we got to the final boss, we had only lost one life, and I had 5 extra ones in my bags. I even had some ravenous anima cells I had been saving for the last 2 floors. The boss took a while to die, but none of us died even once (except for my poor pet).
I think it really boils down to rng (as most things do with this game) and what wings/bosses you get. Some are definitely harder than others. Each run took about 2 hours to complete. I recommend buying all the lives you can in case you need them. And reset the instance at first if you get layers you don't like or are too hard to handle. If it helps, our group started at Coldheart Interstitia (the one with the giant owls), and all the layers after that one were pretty manageable.
Good luck, everyone!

Just completed Layer 8 TC on 211 Resto Shaman, Venthyr covenant. Got help from many different places but never saw a decent solo all in one spot guide (especially for resto sham) so wanted to share what I learned the hard way in the hope it might be a game changer for someone here. I've organized my thoughts into two sections. One for
general gameplay
tips for ALL specs and one for Resto Sham.
General Solo Tips
:
RNG is a real thing. Having said that, its not an excuse to not do all the things that are controllable and make the difference between you clearing and not clearing Layer 8. The increase in difficulty between the 1st 7 layers is largely linear but there is a decent jump when you get to the 8th. There is a huge difference in difficulty between faceroll specs (mostly tanks but some dps) and the have nots:) but this guide will help the latter I hope!
Floors
: There are certain floors that are easier than others. I can assure you that my failed run with 2 Coldheart Interstitia and a Skoldus was not enjoyable. Having said that this is not something we have control over beyond the first 6 (re-entering) I mention this if you get bogged down and then kill that 12 level boss to be greeted with one of the harder floors you should definitely consider aborting the run to save your valuable time which is a huge issue with this challenge. My successful run was 2 Soulforges and a Fracture Chambers fyi. Fracture Chambers gives the largest opportunity to build phantasma. More difficult floors include Mort'regar, Coldheart and to a lesser degree Skoldus Hall IMO.
Ravenous Anima Cells
: Different than their counterparts these 250 phantasma items sold every 3 floors are crucial for specs that are not rolling through. You must take the time to become familiar with their powers which are based upon which floor you use them on and which enemy you throw them at. They are NOT random! As an example, Soulforges with the stacking fire damage causes most non heal/tank classes to cringe with despair I am certain, but if you purchase the ravenous anima cell which bestows 65% fire resistance when used on a Mawsworn enemy, all of a sudden Soulforges becomes a highly desired floor.
Fyi...there is also a ravenous cell for Coldheart death puddles that turns them into healing puddles which is also very effective so don't despair there either. There is a guide which is fairly easy to find on wowhead that summarizes these Ravenous Anima Cell powers. Please see below addon as well.
Ve'nari in the Maw
: It is very important you attempt to max out on whatever stygia based purchases you can make from your daily Maw. Whether you like it or not your adventures in The Maw are linked to Torghast success! Ideally you become Exalted and have access to all perks. Ones you should strive to get prior to attempting Layer 8 TC are
Possibility Matrix
The extra powers this imparts to your choices were OP for me, they really made a big difference.
Loupe of Unusual Charm is a no brainer which gives you an anima cell for 5 phantasma at every vendor in Torghast, Rank insigna: Acquistionist, Ritual Prism of Fortune, Mawtouched Miasma really makes annoying Mawrats insignificant, and for that final Floor 18 boss fight Phantasma Infuser can be a lifesaver especially if by the end you have 100 phantasma to spare.
Anima Power Selection
: No shortage of opinions on best/worst and options in regard to these online. I think you should decide for yourself through trial and error the best balance of Offence/Defence. For example I saw a video guide that said you should strive to balance them out but if you are a healer spec this is not advised as you may need more offence (I know I did) Having said that we are often forced to stack the area we want due to some cells only offering just def or just off powers. Be very careful to select powers which compliment the ideal gameplay for your spec. So if you play a spec that is almost all instant cast spells and has recommended stats of crit and vers don't bother with an offensive haste buff over a better defensive power even if you are looking for offence. Buy the venom based crit buff powers at each vendor. Clear as mud?
Be wary of cells that promise wondrous powers with devastating penalties. I never tried it but the Cilice of Denathrius has inspired some very spirited debate. Sometimes a downgrade in one area IS worth it but it is based on your specific spec, the direction your current run is trending in, which floors you are on and which powers you have selected up to that point. If you have more than enough in one area maybe it makes sense to sacrifice 25% healing for a massive increase in a desired area. There is no set answer its a case by case decision.
Miscelleneous:
Make Sure you ADJUST YOUR TALENTS to compliment a solo Tor'ghast run. Many talents you use as no brainers in raid or mythic groups are almost worthless here and others you dismiss regularly, become much better.
As an alternative to minimizing your game screen and being ambushed by a hunter npc spawning and killing you while you look up a Torghast power on Wowhead, you could download the TORGHAST TOUR GUIDE ADDON. It modifies your UI slightly to give you useful tips and info on most aspects of TC.
On the final 2-3 floors become more STRATEGIC. You don't need to kill every NPC to progress. You should have the majority of the powers you need to kill the final boss and if you don't, you likely are going to fail anyway! No need to continue being a phantasma ^&*!@ and risking a couple valuable lives on Floor 16/17 if you are sitting on 1,000+ for the final vendor.
Strive to buy EVERY OBSCURING ESSENCE POTION available at each vendor you encounter if possible. There is no way to predict who the final boss will be (besides hologram beside broker on Floor 15) so stock up just in case. Note: There are situations where you may want to pass on 1 or 2 of these if you are really short on phantasma and need it for a crucial ravenous anima cell or a vital anima power specific to your class that for some reason you haven't gotten yet thanks to RNG.
Resto Shaman Talent Specific Tips
:
Whether you are a primary spec Resto Shaman or an Enh or Ele who wants an easier route to your mount (because it is easier) there is a shortage of really specific tips for us. I am by no means an expert, just trying to pay it forward. Please comment if you can enhance or add to my tips by all means.
First, rearrange your talents. Ditch Cloudburst Totem which while a staple of every dungeon and raid you've ever run, is virtually useless in here. Almost all the healing buffs you will get are focussed on Healing Stream Totem so stack that bad boy plus general healing increases and obleron endurance (HP increases) and you will be in very good shape. Ditch Torrent/Undulation and take the instant heal Unleash Life. Also recommend Static Charge which when combined with purple capacitor buff is very useful. Spirit Wolf talent is obsolete with all the various speed buffs in Torghast. Try for Marwat harness, power jumps, 60% close to wall increases or spirit wolf 20% increases instead. Don't seek these out just take them as you go when the other choices or of no value to you or you have extra phantasma to burn. Echo of Elements is Mandatory. Do not waste any anima cells on extra talents beyond what you choose here. Stack crit/vers buffs.
Best of luck!

I've wasted well over 14 hours just on Layer 8 Floor 18 wiping on overtuned last bosses who have 1shot AOE mechanics and I am sick and tired of this.
Like cool in PVP you do an arena you get destroyed by the other team and you get some Honor, In PVE M+ you deplete a key but you still get Valor and Anima and 1 item drop.
Hell, perhaps you even have some fun doing Arenas or M+ but excuse me, where is the fun in Torghast? If it's solo it's tedious because it's lonely and and repetitive, if you go with others it becomes heavily overtuned and requires 100% focus from floor 13-18, so the whole experience and hours you put into it are NOT enjoyable and then what do you get if you wipe on floor 18 after 2-3 hours of playing...absolutely dog*!@# nothing...not 35 anima pat on the back, not stygia, nothing...It's honestly some of the worst and most overtuned content the game has to offer and it has had me seriously considering unsubscribing once and for all.
I've spent well over 14 hours total in Layer 8 which is already more than the time it took me to get from 1 to 7 and I have gotten absolutely nothing. No fun or enjoyment in any of my runs, extremely sweaty unnecessarily overtuned bossfights with mechanics I simply cannot deal with when they become overwhelming, no progress bar with % towards any reward, no anima, no nothing just wasted time which I pay monthly for btw.
Whoever made Layer 8 should get fired and god forbid even worse.

well. After 210+ gear this is just boring walking. Where every1 dies on 2-3 gcd. Ofc it depends on anima. But if you choose right you will be overpowered even with worst random ever. Because during all 18 lvls you get around 100 anima powers total. Layer 8 was pretty unlucky for me. Got power for +5% to int for every floor only at 11lvl and epic powers around lvl 12 (when gathered all possible @#$% epic traits) but it doesnt rly changed situation. Pretty same as when I was lucky. Last boss of 8 layer dies with this log: "Your Flamestrike hit Warden Skoldus 5,031,220 Fire. (1,647,457 Overkill) (Critical)". After lvl 11-12 if you clear everything it becomes too simple at least for casters. Yes you can suddenly die from 100k bolts if decide to afk before pack of mobs. But usually no1 lives longer than 2-3 gcd. 500k+ pyros (up to 2kk with combust+trink) dont give a chance to any1 rly hurt you.
small tip: try never to start you ascension if debuf like "fire" or "+hp". It becomes pain at higher lvls. Better to catch random summons of soulhunters or hunters. Also this debufs can repeat. So after 12lvl you can get same as debuf as you have before. At least once I had only summoning debuf of 2 types and nothing more. For some strange reason final bosses inside one layer can also repeat. I met same boss at lvl 6 and lvl 18.

Just completed it as 206 Fury Warrior Venthyr. Last boss was 8.7kk hp. Died in about 1min doing me nothing.
Probably could achieve on 200ilv or even below. The pure dmg comes from anima, not from your gear.
This run took me around 2h, but I also made few bigger breaks at Broker Shops as they are safe zones.
If you won't get few certain animas, you will have really hard time here or even get stuck at higher floors.
Few tips to save some of your time:
If you enter the layer and see it's Soulforges - just leave and reset. Soulforges debuff presist till end of TC, and trust me you don't want to keep this DoT on 12+ floors. It's absolutely the worst perma-debuff possible in Torghast.
You can reset the 1st major anima power you get at enterance. Just get in, see what you get, get out.
In my opinion the best opening Anima power is
贪婪剪除之刃
, as by floor 2 you will have Condemn as a part of rotation. Other good openings are
阴燃惯性
for bursts or
秘制香料
for HP pool (which doesn't matter that much till floor 12+)
Buy
贪婪的心能单元
at floor 6 in case you get to The Fracture Chambers or The Upper Reaches.
髓吸挖掘者
is far the best source of anima if you are lucky to get into these wings, i got over 4000 during 6 floors of that segment, it's enough to boost phantasma and buyout shops till end of the game.
袖珍灵魂牢笼
is also great option for
贪婪的心能单元
use, as it's averagely ~15 Soul Remnants boost, which is must have for dps and perma Enraged Regeneration from
不羁坚韧
.
划刻小刀
got on early stages is ~15 free anima powers.
To make boss/single elite fight easy, try to get
破傲者铁砧
, with high haste and Condemn ~1,4s, you can stunlock the boss for whole fight.
TL;DR.
Everything that boost hp is good, but having ~150k is enough, everything that boost haste is good, every Condemn boost is good, find a synergy between shouts, heroic leaps, and burst-windows. Pulling big groups of adds is the best way to die, all of my deaths came from too big pull and geting CCed.
If you do this solo as i did, put some music, podcast and slowly get floor via floor, it's not a race ;)

Just solo'd this as a 208ilvl Disc Priest. Kryian Covenant, but other than a speed boost/dodge buff my covenant didn't make too much of a difference for me.
I did get extremely lucky with the tower types and anima boosts. And it was probably the most fun I had completing a layer of Twisting Corridors. Everything just dies when you fear them >:)
I ended with almost a million hp (LOL) and the last boss had almost 6mil hp.
I took a some good advice from
sk8ter2000
's comment - if you get the Soulforges at first, just reset. You can't really control the rest, but hopefully luck will be on your side.
I will also usually spend all possible phantasma at the vendors for anima cells (not really the ravenous ones unless you want a harness or
Purifier's Flame
if you get Mort'Regar Tower) and also on the extra power ups available and extra lives if they are beneficial. Don't be like me and accidentally use a ravenous cell on the vendor themselves - it will turn them into phantasma and they will be dead for the rest of the run :'(
Things to focus on for anima - Definitely try to get
Catharstick
(try to stack),
Dark Technique
(try to stack as well) with
Pandemonium Loop
,
Volatile Phantasm
, and
High Priest's Invocation
if you aren't running the
Psychic Voice
talent. With that being said, focus on boosting your HP/stamina whenever possible, also try to get anima powers that reduce your Fade's cooldown, reducing your Psychic Scream's cooldown, also extending its' duration, and powering up your Shadow Word: Death ability. These will all work together to make you almost invincible, and deal a ton of damage.
Other great abilities that helped me a lot were
Rat-Corpse Bag
for more SWD,
Fragments of Obscurity
, and I chanced upon
Roots of the Dreamtree
from a bonus objective which increased my health 100% but gave me a very annoying slow - though in the end it was doable and not that bad. It was nice to have because the more health I had, the more damage my fears were doing. And of course I didn't die and just took damage which kept my catharstick powered up and basically one shotted mobs.
My rotation was fear the elites, and if they didn't die use Fade to drop an illusion while you wait for Psychic Scream to come off cooldown, then fear again. For smaller mobs, stick to your regular dps rotations and throw in some catharstick Shadow Word: Pains, Shadow Word: Deaths, more SWP - things die pretty quickly for a healer lol
Sometimes it takes over halfway through the run for these abilities to start coming together, but hang in there, take the time to clear everything, kite, and good luck!

198 geared holy paladin cleared layer 8 and dabbled at lower levels with alts. It is possible to do all layers despite the ilvl disadvantage, but it does require a bit of caution and some avoidance of bad RNG. This post will be for solo play as I haven't tried this in a group.
Don't take
德纳修斯腰带
unless you have already gotten several high tier health items, you end up just getting near one-shot by basic mobs and it essentially forces you to one-shot the final boss before your CC runs out. Don't blindly assume that you will get enough health items later, my worst run by far offered only 4 health choices across all 18 floors including the brokers, ultimately resulting in me getting one-shot by an auto from the final boss despite having 50% damage reduction through
凇心之羽
.
It is quite likely that you will lose at least one run to not getting enough health options, you should be picking these up "almost" regardless of whatever the other options are. The easiest runs are those where you stroll into the last boss with 300K hp and can afford to take your time without worrying about crazy damage spikes oneshotting you. The bare-minimum I would aim for is about 120K health, although I have cleared successfully on 90K on lower floors.
Only a very few choices fall above health in priority. Certain SSS+ tier picks
反抗死亡
and for paladins,
无限荣光之圣言
can save an otherwise doomed run and trivialise the final boss.
Depending on which area you start in, you will be applied a torment that will stack all the way up to the final floor. You get a new one every 6 floors. You should restart until you get either of the "when out of combat, sometimes get attacked by maw seekers / shadestalkers." These are quite easy to work around and spawn quite infrequently even while you are out of combat, you can easily get through an entire run without ever seeing it trigger - especially if you remain in combat by attacking a mawrat and leaving it alive or by tossing out ranged spells at vases as you pass. As this is the torment that stacks the highest into the run, essentially neutralising it like this is a great start - certainly better than a percentage buff to floor bosses/mobs or the increasing max hp damage from the flame floor.
As your starting choice of anima power is also randomised, you can also aim for a good starting power as well as the torment of your choice. If you have the patience to restart enough, go for
which you are all but guaranteed to max out by the end of the run. Eliminates a lot of bad RNG if you take the time to do it.
Broker buys: Venari's reputation purchases can greatly expand your selection here for powers, but on floor 3 and 6 you should prioritise buying a
贪婪的心能单元
above all else. The first orb is so that you can keep an eye out for
失落的泥仆
- full-clear the floor first and then come back to this mob. When you attack BUT DO NOT KILL this mob (beware his low hp - if you can't attack without killing - try dragging your auto attack to the hotbar and using it), he will drop an anima power and run to the exit at which point he will cast escape at the entrance to the next floor. When he is casting his escape spell, use the orb and you will open a portal to a treasure room with a bunch of vases to break and around 5 powers to grab out of them. Very worth it and you get a good chunk of your phantasm back for the investment as well.
The second orb that you buy on floor 6 is purely for the chance that you get the soulforge floor and the max% hp torment that comes with it. Flameforge masters, forgekeepers, mawsworn firecallers/flametenders and any fire elementals will all drop a 65% flame resistance buff when you tag them with the ravenous orb - which works on all flame attacks and the torment itself as it follows you up the floors. After getting this buff, you should barely notice the max hp damage after getting a bloodgorged leech or something similar. As long as you have two ravenous orbs in your inventory, you can pick up whatever else best suits you from the broker - again prioritising health if it is offered. If you don't get soulforges by floor 13, you can throw this at whatever mob you feel like to grab their buff. Check out the ravenous orb page for a full table on what you can grab, many of them are somewhat useful but none of them are quite so important as the two previously mentioned.
Fighting: For big packs or fighting multiple elites, don't be afraid to blow everything to kill a few of the mobs and then just run away. This isn't like a dungeon, everything will leash eventually if you run away enough - this WILL also reset the stacking damage buff on the elites as well, so its extra handy on tough floors where two elites are close together and get pulled at the same time (try pulling the small mobs around them first - you may manage to attract the attention of only one of them if you lack CC).
And finally, fix your talents (and legendaries if applicable) before you go in. CC works perfectly well on bosses and mobs alike, although all elites do gain a stacking damage buff over time that prevents infinite stalling for most classes. Some legendaries, like frost mages
恐怖冰锥
may have little value in raiding or mythic+ but have some massive value in Torghast if you are trying to salvage your run from some bad luck.

Not super hard for 275 balance druid in 9.2.5. Coldheart is a good choice; since the escalating debuff doesn't make enemies deal more damage, just buffs their health.
