Some amazing summaries included here...thanks to all.
Wondering though, I'm into the Blood in the Sands quest line AND also deep into Revered with 7th Legion. No other quests are available from Halford Wyrmbane. Is it possible that the different quest lines must be done in order?

The reputation requirements listed in the helpful posts on here are no longer required. I was able to complete the entire storyline at Honored.

Anyone know if you completed the horde version of this and then faction change to alliance, would you need to redo the achievement on the other side? I see it completed on my ally toon now but with none of the prerequisites marked off.

This post is for Alliance who came here trying to find out how to travel to Zandalar without taking the time out to complete the achievement required to unlock it in Boralus.

*NOTE* The following method will NOT show you how to get the ability in your missions area in Boralus, however, this will show you how to get to Zandalar in a more roundabout but relatively easy manner.

First, you'll need to go to the Horde area in Kalimdor. Specifically, you need to go to the Darkspear Training Grounds you'll see on your map near Sen'Jin Village in South Duratar off the (south-east-ish) coast.

Board the boat you will see come sailing into the port there. (I rode on the crow's nest at the top of the mast to be safe, but the crew showed to be friendly toward Alliance)

I rode the ship to the port in Zandalar, jumped in the water easily avoiding any fights with hostile npcs on the dock, and then just as easily made my way by swimming to shore and then riding to the nearest Alliance Flight Point "Seeker's Outpost" following the shore to the east-ish.

Ready for war is simpley a hard achivment becuase of the time and how you have to look at wowhead basicly
