Boy you must be OUTSIDE YOUR MIND! we're gonna do up-downs until blue is no longer tired, & thirsty!
Given that the spawning of the Torments is random, this achievement already feels like it's really going to suck. Watching them bounce between two of the 4 over and over? Buh.
This achievement isn't as bad as it sounds, but there is some RNG that will make it easier or harder from pull to pull.
First and foremost, the Torments that need to survive are adds summoned by the titans as the Coven tortures them. These adds will either be Torment of Khaz'goroth, Torment of Norgannon, Torment of Aman'thul or Torment of Golganneth. Each add does different things, detailed below.
Khaz'goroth - Adds will spawn in static locations near the edges of the room and channel flamethrowers at the middle of the room. Simply kill all but 1 and avoid dotting him, while avoiding his flamethrower for the rest of the fight.
Norgannon - Summons 5 adds in each of the little cubbies on the 4 sides of the room, which have 1 health and are immune to damage for 30 seconds. They simply try to walk towards the opposite wall from where they spawned, and do crazy damage to anyone within their purple circles. They are affected by all sorts of CC. When these spawn, simply pick one far away from where you'll be fighting the bosses and root/trap/paralysis it to keep it in place for the rest of the fight, as these have 100% uptime.
Aman'thul - Spawns a single add in each of the four quadrants that will cast a long cast time spell. When it completes, the add will be full healed and everyone in the raid will gain a stack of a DoT that eventually ramps up so high it kills you, though this takes a long time. Simply pick one near any other Torment(s) that you've saved until this point and leave it be.
Golganneth - Causes anyone within 2 yards of another person to nuke both players with chain lightning. Simply stay spread and leave one add alive.
One of these adds will spawned from their respective tortured titan every 90 seconds. As DemosthenesHPW points out, the spawning of which titan add spawns is random, meaning there are certainly some harder orders (staying spread the entire fight suck with some of the other abilties). However, a titan will not be tortured a second time until all other titans have been tortured at least once. Given the 90 seconds between titan tortures, this means this will be a 6 minute kill.
This also basically means you only need to worry about keeping 3 titan adds alive, since you can kill the bosses right after the 4th spawns if your group has the self restraint to get bosses low without killing. Since this fight will likely require you to stop DPS, and since some titan orders will result in a lot of damage, I'd highly recommend you bring extra healers, even if this means a DPS or two switching specs.
Will add anything I find when we do these next week, but this one seems straightforward, and basically requires a lot of self-control from your raid.
FrostyShot#1667 for questions about the metas. (Horde-US)
Not as hard as it seems.
The boss spawns several of the 4 adds every minute or so.
The most crucial part is you want to make sure that you do Aman'thul last or 2nd last, else you will die from high unavoidable aoe dmg from
. If Aman'thul spawns as the first 2 adds, you can either reset or just kill all the Aman'thul adds until you have all 3 of the other adds, then wait for Aman'thul to spawn last and then just kill the boss.
The other 3 adds are trivial.
-Norgannan - You can CC him. He does dmg if you touch him,
-Kazgoroth - spews avoidable fire damage in one position only (
-Golganneth - does avoidable splash dmg
Just keep each one of the adds alive in one corner of the room (Kazgoroth and Golganneth is stationary while Norgannan can be CC'd).
As of Shadowlands this achievement is pretty easy, just afk for 6 minutes without killing all the Torment adds and then nuke the boss.
Note that this achievement is very hard to solo, you will need one more player to get aggro on one Mother and keep it away from the other one to remove the
Tip: To avoid damage, you can crowd control the
by using abilities such as
Probably the harder achievement of the meta since if you are unlucky with torment spawns, you will surf the enrage timer. The goal is to have the healing add (aman'thul) spawn last AFTER you have the other 3 adds up and under control. If it spawns first kill them all and hope it spawns again (the stacking debuff will wipe you). For Norganon (old man wall of adds) assign a lock to perma banish one. For the fire adds leave 1 up at the back and ignore it. For the lightning add - just stay spreed out and leave it all but one alone. You MAY have to kill a set of fire adds again. Get the boss low (sub 5%) and stop all dots and wait - as soon as healing add spawns confirm you still have your other singular adds up and burn the boss.
The Dedicated & Openraid achievement group completed this on the 3/12/17. Average ilvl of the 30M group (3T/6H/21DPS) was 940+

Unlike the Kin'goroth achievement, you cannot get this one solo queueing in LFR.
It's difficult, but possible to solo this achievement as long as you can keep the bosses separated. Ideally, it's much easier if you do it with 2 players. I soloed it with my BM hunter on normal after 3 failed attempts.
I solo'd this on normal with my 120 hunter by using my pet to tank one of the bosses on the other side of the room. I killed off all but one of each type of add, but probably didn't even need to do that since I came back later with 3 and had a lot of trouble intentionally wiping on our first run.
Easy Solo for Pet Classes Level 120 Battle for Azeroth and Level 60 Shadowlands and Beyond...
1. Normal Difficulty.
2. Begin fight, doesn't matter which you target, one will teleport to the corner, and the other two have to be split by you and your pet.
3. Maintain aggro on your target on your pet, and use aoe attacks, because now the other one will be following you.
4. Move away while keeping your pet on your original target, and the other one now on you and they are finally split.
5. There are Four Torments:
Machinations of Aman'Thul will spawn multiple Torment of Aman'Thul adds. You need to keep one alive.
Fury of Golganneth will spawn Torment of Golganneth adds. You need to keep one alive.
Flames of Khaz'goroth will summon Torment of Khaz'goroth adds. You need to keep one alive.
Spectral Army of Norgannon will spawn a large amount of Torment of Norgannon adds. You need to keep at a minimum one alive.
6. They will be in a random rotation. Again, upon each torment, you must keep at the very least ONE add up and do not kill it. For me, the spectral army was my last one so I kept them all alive while I focused on the boss.
7. All the while, make sure the bosses are split. No worries if they move close to one another, you can always split them up again, but DO NOT accidentally kill a sole remaining Torment add if there is only one up.
8. With all Four Torment adds alive, kill the bosses.
10. Profit. Achievement Completed.
