Rotation & Abilities
Only Night Elves and Blood Elves can play Demon Hunters.
Demon Hunter primarily use Warglaives in Legion, but can also equip other 1H weapons.
Demon Hunters start off at level 98.
Creating a Demon Hunter on a particular server requires a level 70 character on that server as well.
increases Attack Power and Physical Damage Reduction while

Demon Hunters are on the
Conqueror Tier Token
, sharing tier tokens with
Tier 19 set:
Soul Cleave refunds 5 Pain.
Soul Cleave reduces the remaining cooldown on Demon Spikes by up to 3 sec, based on Pain spent.
Tier 20 set:
When you consume a Soul Fragment, all enemies within 10 yards deal 5% less damage to you for 6 sec.
After using Soul Cleave, you gain 2000 Versatility for 8 sec.
What makes Vengeance Special
: A demonic elf who uses the magic of the Legion against them. A vengeance demon hunter is an aggressive, fast-paced tank that rips souls from the enemy to use for their own benefit.
: Pain, generated via attacks and taking damage. Soul Fragments, which are minor healing orbs that spawn far from the demon hunter and are consumed by various abilities.
, which directly reduces physical damage and increases your chance to avoid attacks.
, a big finisher that heals more the more pain you spend on it.

Demon Hunters have custom emotes, hair, tattoos, skin color, and blindfolds. Legion helms and chests have different appearances when equipped by a Demon Hunter.

Changes in Patch 7.2.5
Damage of all abilities, including talents, increased by 15%.
redesigned: Parrying an attack increases your Pain generation by 20% for 5 seconds.
can only be extended to a maximum of three times its base duration.
cooldown reduced to 1.5 minutes (was 2 minutes).
total healing increased by 20%.
now costs 30 Pain (was 20 Pain).
periodic damage increased by an additional 22%.
will not absorb a killing blow of more than 200% of the player's maximum health.
has been increased by 10%.
now costs 25 to 50 Pain (was 30 to 60), and now heals for 6.6 times Attack Power per 25 Pain spent.
redesigned: Consume all Soul Fragments within 25 yards and then explode, afflicting nearby enemies with Frailty for 20 seconds and damaging them for 3.0x Attack Power fire per fragment. You heal for 20% of all damage you deal to enemies with Frailty.
is activated and a
buff is already present, the values of the two buffs are now correctly averaged.
When Soul Fragments are created that exceed the cap of 5 active fragments, the oldest fragment is now automatically consumed if it is within 60 yards of the Demon Hunter. If it is more than 60 yds from the Demon Hunter, it despawns.
