According to the blizz website's mount page, this mount has 60% swim speed increase.

you can get this mount by fishing at frozen sea
with very low chance

Now that mounts are as fast as as a given character's riding speed, has anyone clarified if this mount is still slow by exception, or is now as fast as any other land mount, provided the highest riding skill is trained on the character?

I'm not sure, about to go for the Sea Turtle now, will update if I get it, will also add in if it goes fast like 100%, if it does, then i'll be happy. I would also assume this would be the same, but you never know.

This turtle despite walking at walking speed does indeed now function as a fast aquatic mount just like its other turtely friend.

It's probably a bug, but an alt below level 20 isn't able to mount this from their mounts tab currently.
If you've discovered the same, here's what you need.

This Mount is now obtainable through ingame on the Black Market auction house in Tavern in the Mists starting at 36300 gold. I got mine for 38100g :)

Fished this up in a garrison raid group. Took about 6 hours of getting lunarfall carp and throwing them in and killing the npc that spawns.
