This raptor, along with http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=1022 are the only two raptors without jewlry or feathers, making them great for a hunter looking for an unusual-looking pet without having to spend tond of time seeking out rare-spawns or hoping to get lucky and tame a one-time-only quest-spawned beast.

These raptors are "paired" with Jungle Stalkers, which makes them a bit trickier to tame. I rooted the Jungle Stalker with Really Sticky Glue which I'd saved from a low level (horde) quest, and started taming the raptor with a Concussive Shot, a Freezing Trap and Aspect of the Monkey active.

The Jungle Stalker started hitting on me after a while but managed to complete the tame. Remember to quickly teach your new raptor Growl and you should do fine.

Oh my, no need to neuter wild animals now, even if they do start hitting on other species. And shame on you if you're Draenei, who wouldn't want a cute baby raptor with hooves and horns?
