This guy is a little hard to find. Here's a step-by-step guide.

1. Enter the main building

2. Before you get to the bar, there is a side door. If you took a left entering the building it'll be on your right. Vice versa if you went right.

3. Go upstairs

4. Haraggan is on the right side of the upper level. You'll pass an inkeeper and several bunk beds. He's towards the back.

My coordinates said 13,44 but I don't know that those will help you. Also, like many vendors, he sells out of the recipe as people buy it, so he won't always have it when you show up.

How to get to Harggan

1. Walk into the building
2. Take a left and go around the corner
3. Take a right
4. To the left there should be a tank, jump on the wall next to it
5. Jump onto to the tank and get on the top of it
6. Jump to the ledge that the airplane is sitting on
7. Take a left and he is standing right there

I tried to get this with my Lvl 80 without Blacksmithing. I didn't drop and it didn't drop. well it finally showed up after 1 day. You can only buy it if you have BS 215. So i showed up with my lvl 40 pal w/ BS 225 and bought it. The respawn looked more like 1.5 hours.

I can confirm that you do NOT need BS to buy and send this pattern. I needed this pattern for my Rogue and she did not have the flight path. Hopped on my mage (Tailor/JC) and ran in and bought the pattern and mailed it to my rogue.

I suppose this comment should be on the pattern itself, but I suppose the information is also useful here.

By "main building" they are referring to Wildhammer Keep.

Correct. You'll notice under the "Sells" tab for this NPC, Plans: Mithril Scale Bracers has a stock of 1.

I'm not sure how often it is re-stocked. But it is quite true that anyone can buy it at any time.... assuming it's in stock.

according to wow-professions.com it respawns ever 30 minutes or so.

This NPC no longer has the bracer plans. i camped him for 3 hours checking every 5 minutes for it and it never showed up... not sure if its just a glitch in my server but on my server he no longer has the plans

I camped him for 45 mins earlier and they were never available, got bored waiting so went back later and they were available, the spawn time seems to be longer than 30 mins though.

I camped this NPC for 2 hours to get the pattern. I watched a movie in the meantime in a mini window and grabbed it as soon as it appeared in the market pane.

arived here 3:20am and the Plans is bought up, so standing here w8ting for them to respawn. will update this after they poped back up so you guys get a clue on about how long the wating time is( not exactly tho )

After about 15 minutes of looking at this dude It occurred to me that his face is painted like the Ultimate Warrior (google it kiddies) which makes me want to punch him in the nose that much more. Seriously, how long does it take to write down Mithril Bar x8? Come on now.

I waited an hour for Harggan to spawn the bracer plans. Killed Gharash and Harggan had the plans instantly. I think they can only exist on one faction's vendor at a time.

Camped at the vendor with the screen open while watching a movie or something else? Make sure to close the vendor window periodically and re-open it!

When the recipe spawns it won't just "appear" if you already have the vendor window open with the NPC - you need to "reload" what he has available for sale.

He still sells the recipe with 4.03a

I went there with my twink - and checked - and it was not there. Then I killed Gharash (the horde NPC selling it) and logged back to that twink - and there it was.

His location has changed in 4.0.3 and is much easier to find. I had bought this on a previous character and had gone back upstairs to where he used to be and couldn't find him. So I did a /target Harggan and looked for the glowing green spot.

Basically, when you first walk into Wildhammer Keep, the first thing you'll see is the Innkeeper (the Keep itself is an inn since there is no 'real' one).

Once you see the Innkeeper, make a straight left (or turn West according to in-game compass) and walk literally five steps. He's right there, first floor.

You can't miss him :)

As of Jan 20th, 2011 I can confirm this pattern is still sold by this npc. I arrived and there was no pattern to be sold. I waited for 45 mins and still no pattern. I then proceeded to go to Stonard and kill Gharash the horde npc that sells this pattern. When I returned to Haggard the pattern was available for sale.

Leveling Blacksmithing on an alt, and I just grabbed the recipe from this guy, didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes :)

As a horde, I flown and kiilled Harggan and Gharash had the recipe when I was there five minutes later (after flying back). Server Time was 21:23 when I looted.

I flew to Gharash on my main while leaving my alt with Harggan. After my main landed at the nearest flight point, I checked Harggan again. There were no plans. So I got back on my main, killed Gharash, and swapped characters. I still had to wait 13 minutes for the plan to spawn. I don't think that technique works. The people who it "worked" for weren't resetting the timer, they were only killing time.

So, unless you're feeling really bored, don't waste your time killing the opposite NPC.

Brought my horde druid to this vendor, logged back on my paladin and bought the pattern. Right after I logged over and killed the vendor waiting 5 minutes for it to respawn, when it did respawn there was no pattern. So killing it to make it respawn does not work like it does in winterspring. Hope that helps some of your creative minds!

Alliance - flew to him today. Arrived 23:00, no pattern. Waited with his seller window open. At 23:12 closed the window and immediately reopened and the plan was there. As Glaornia said - don't just keep the window open, close and reopen it periodically.

Well I actually had quite some fun when I had to run away with my level 80 shaman toon from the badass 85 guard

and yes, confirming that the pattern doesn't respawn even though you kill him, you just need to wait!

i can confirm that when you kill the horde npc while he has the recipe then this guy will get the recipe killed the horde npc on my dk then logged back to my paladin and this guy had the recipe.

I waited at him for about 45 minutes and the pattern that he sold me was the Mithril Mechanical Dragonling. As a hunch I went to NPC Ruppo Zipcoil(since he sells the Dragonlings) and what do you know he had the Mithril Scale Bracers for sale. Hope it helps.

I got there at 13:00 server time and it was not there.
I checked every time a minute went by and it popped at 13:05.
If it isn't there when you arrive, keep checking and maybe we can narrow it down to something specific other than maybe every half hour.

Today, I waited 7 minutes for the recipe on an alt with no BS at all.

I logged out of that alt and into another, waiting in Swamp of Sorrows, who immediately killed Gharash. I then logged back to my alt standing beside Harggan. Total time to kill Gharash and relog and check again was less than 2 minutes.

The plans weren't in Harggan's inventory on my first check after relogging, but I checked again maybe 20 seconds later and they were.

1) Superstition or not, I got the plans from Harggan within 3 minutes of killing Gharash.

2) My alt without Blacksmithing was able to buy the plans.

I've been periodically checking Harggan for these plans. I've been checking for the last 5 hours, about 30+ inspections in that time... still nada. I have not seen any other players in this area. I'll continue to do research to see if something has changed.

Just got this recipe. Arrived at 13:19 - nothing there. Flew to a nearby Troll archie patch, did that then flew back so about 5 minuets later, and it was there in his bag. That's the final vendor recipe owned.

Gentlemen I have indeed found the secret to buying this pattern. Simply go with one of Harggan's own kin(Dwarf). I went in and bought it from it instantly, while my friends on Teamspeak tell me how dificult it was, while i read the comments here. Harggan is a true dwarf! He sold it to me because I am of his kin. Thank You Harggan, may Muradin rule the mountains for all eternity!

After trying for days camping and randomly logging in to try and buy the plans from Gharash, I decided to give killing Harggan a shot out of desperation. While leaving my mage camped outside of Gharash, I flew my hunter all the way to where Haggan is. I logged back onto my mage one last time to check and Gharash was selling the plans. Obviously, someone tipped Harggan off that I was coming for his head. This is proof Gharash is secretly working for the Alliance and is a spy and traitor.

I don't normally post to forums, but this site has been such a fantastic tool, I wanted to provide my input.

Went to check for the plans on Harggan. They weren't there. Spent maybe 5-10 minutes reading comments here and said, WTH, let me try the "kill the opposite faction" tactic since people are reporting mixed results. I kept my monk logged at Harggan, took my mage over to kill Gharash. I immediately logged back on to my monk at Harggan and the plans were there.

Could be coincidence. Could be on a set timer and I got lucky... but, this was 8/14/2013 at 06:53 EST... and I HIGHLY doubt it was seriously just an utterly random appearance.

So, yes, Harggan still sells the plans, so I assume Gharash does as well.

I went to kill Harggan to hopefully make the pattern spawn on Gharash but there's an NPC before him that's level 90. The highest level NPC near Gharash is 60. Alliance bias! >:( He one-shotted me as I'm only level 80 so I rezzed and made my way back to Stonard. While that toon was flying back my blacksmith (on my second account) checked Gharash again and the pattern was there. Out of sympathy, maybe? /lolsob

I waited for a while by Harggan, got impatient so I went and killed Gharash with an alt. Logged back on to the toon that was with Harggan and the recipe had spawned.

After an hour of sitting in the corner behind Harggan, a full hour of almost non-stop *right click vendor, hit esc button*, hoping to see this pattern appear, I have come to the conclusion that it is not worth the time. In that hour, I could have farmed up enough mithril ore to level past it with other recipes. My recommendation is to do just that, farm up the mats and simply bypass this accursed recipe. Not only will you save time, you will also save your sanity. Unless you are a completionist, then it might be worth it. Good luck and kudos to those who are determined enough to stick with it.

I have been standing beside this $%^&*! for 1 hour and 10 min, nothing. Nobody has been here since I got here. I have been staring into my screen the whole time so I'm more than positive I am alone. Kept refreshing the vendor every ~ 3 min or so. I even had /who open to see if there was someone here, but nope. I was the only one.

I feel like logging my horde alt just to kill him a couple of times.

Oh well. The journey continues.

I don't know if they have increased the spawn rate of it so I may just be lucky after getting it only 5 minutes after reaching him.
