While using levitate you cannot take damage from ground lasers, only from orbs
评论来自
Pwuebear
This fight will push your awareness skills to the limit. It spawns three lasers on the ground, two moving horizontally, and one moving vertically; each of them fading in and out as they move across the floor. When the laser is fading out, it will do little to no damage, and when it is at it's brightest it will more or less one-shot you (the timing on moving through the lasers is very strict though, so do this with caution), you can also jump over them (the latter being the recommend option and the least likely to get you killed).
Futhermore, there are cannons shooting multiple pulses in a straight line that deal approximately 230k physical damage. The cannons at the sides shoot two-three (covering mostly a 90 degree area; shooting roughly 33° and 66° degrees for the
二元干涉者
and 0°, 45°, and 90° for the
三元干涉者
), while the
五元干涉者
in the center of the arena shoots five. Disruptron will active these cannons one by one during the fight and will announce it in yells for each one. A red arrow will indicate which cannon is active and firing. When you reach ~30% the cannons will start to shoot pulses more rapidly.
干涉者Mk.3R-Alpha型
will also cast
静电充能
that can either be outranged or you can use stuns or knockbacks to interrupt it.
Tips & Tricks:
In the Alliance encounter you can negate the single vertical line if you hug the north wall, whereas in the Horde encounter you can negate every second horizontal line on the south or north end, as the lasers stop a few yards before they reach the wall. You can also make clever use of
漂浮术
to avoid the lasers entirely, and there are certain static points in the arena area where casters can stand (with levitate) and not take any hits from the disruptor cannons - if you stand at the very end of the wall away from the flames of death on enrage, just a few steps away from the center of the wall, you will be able to dodge everything without moving or at the very least only side-step slightly back and forth.
This latter trick is working again with patch 5.3 and the lightning fields will not kill you when they move underneath you.
There seems to be an issue with this event in the Brawl'gar Arena in Orgrimmar, where you always get hit by the lasers if you are jumping them while on the grate area, plus the Penta-Phasic Disruptor appear to be bugged on and off and activates when it shouldn't.
The lasers were fixed for the Brawl'gar Arena with Patch 5.3 (but I still see reports of invisible pulses from the penta disruptors).

Disruption DK Guide:
Preparation:
Spec: Unholy Blight / Purgatory / Asphixiate / Death Siphon or Death Pact / Blood Tap / Remorseless Winter
Buffs: Raid + Earth Shield
Items: Pots and Health Stone
Symbiosis
1) Pre-pot and pop Army of the Dead
2) Pop Pillar and Unholy blight right away at the start and any DPS trinkets
3) Jump beams and dodge orbs
4) Stun the boss when he casts static charges #1 and #2 with Asphixiate and Remorseless winter. The timing for Remorseless requires you to pop it before he starts channeling. This allows your ghouls to keep attacking.
5) When the boss reaches 35%, everything gets crazy. At this stage, pop all CDs again, including Pillar, Ghoul, Pot and Empower Rune weapon. Use healthstone, death pact or spam death siphon if you get hit.
6) Don't forget soul reaper!
7) Use AMS and IBF to dodge static charge as well. AMS can prevent the Rain of Fire at the end from killing you, giving you a few more seconds to DPS.

Killed it (with levitate) as an elemental shaman (ilvl 494) with the fire coming in the background.
Best place to stand as alliance, ranged and with levitate is a bit left from the center and all the way down to the wall furthest away from the berserk fire (did got knocked down once when standing in/close to the wall so i advise to walk a yard or 5-10 forward).
You kinda need levitate to beat enrage if you are a weak dps class unless you got 500+ ilvl gear.
Horde got it a bit easier as there is an area where one beam doesnt comes 50% of the time and no orbs will hit you there.

Alliance version:
The easiest rank 8 encounter if you're a ranged class, and have a levitate ability available.
The white orbs won't reach the middle of the southern wall, which basicly turns this fight into Patchwerk as long as you remain in that position. (Only be aware of any eventual static charge casts when he comes near you). About 90K dps required to beat the berserk timer.

VERY hard fight for melee.
Finally managed to kill this guy as a Retribution Paladin (510 ilvl), obviously no levitate, and minimal buffs. The most frustrating part of the fight for me was dealing with the middle turret, which even on its own can be annoying. The end of the fight is absolutely chaotic, and saving all of your cooldowns for the last 30 seconds is pretty much required. Rocket boots from Engineering helps to jump over the dodgy lasers towards the end when you get two or three next to each other.
This fight is absolutely brutal for melee DPS, and would be much easier if Disruptron actually followed YOU with a weak melee attack, rather than running around like an idiot.
Such a shame that the majority of Disruptron kills are not legit, and were cheesed with levitate. Getting a legit kill on this fight, especially as melee DPS, is very impressive. Good luck!

Not only Levitate no longer works in 5.2, but the lasers on the floor seem to be a little higher than before, meaning that you can be accidentally hit while jumping over them.

If your any class other than priest and you did this with levitate your kill isn't legit as far as I'm concerned.

Notes as a 516 ilvl Surv hunter for this fight (without levitate):
This took a lot of attempts, I practiced when there was little or no queue, using drums, flask, food, prepot. Between the end of the last fight and when you get ported in, I got hyena (attack speed increase), cat (mastery) and wolf (crit chance) buffs by dismissing pet/calling next pet (you have to do it fast, can click on the pet buff spell while dismissing). Used thunderhawk (spell dmg debuff) during fight and last pet was tallstrider (armor debuff). Put a ice trap where he spawns to get a free LnL.
Talents: Dire Beast, Crows, shorter disengage cd, Aspect of the Iron Hawk (almost mandatory)
Without Iron Hawk, I would generally be one shot by any laser.
Glyphs: longer disengage distance, heal per disengage, spirit bond
In the horde arena, I found that jumping the lasers while in the lower metal pit area a lot harder than in the side/raised area. Stuck to the sides, and close to the middle (away from the cannons). Each of the two width moving lasers will have a side it doesn't reach, so if you stick to a long side, you can avoid one of those lasers. You can disengage over lasers (especially good toward the end when width lasers become clumped). Deterrence sometimes work to negate laser damage, but not reliable.
Pop everything at 35%, although remember that a healing pot could be better if it lets you survive another circle hit and you have enough dps without it. BM spec will have a considerably shorter fight since you can pop bloodlust at the end.
As a side note, it is actually possible (though I found it too unreliable) to avoid lasers without jumping by standing in the spot they cross as they blink out (look up youtube vids and you might see them). Spots are very small though, and the safe spots changes during the fight.
Dps was 105K or so. Gear allows you to shorten the fight length, but it's mostly about not dying. GL
Spammable macro you can use (change the pet numbers and ability names if necessary):
/castsequence Dismiss Pet, Call Pet 5, Dismiss Pet, Call Pet 4, Dismiss Pet, Call Pet 3, Dismiss Pet, Call Pet 1
/cast Cackling Howl
/cast Roar of Courage
/cast Furious Howl

I found it much, much easier to pass the beams when i zoomed in quite a bit. I usually play zoomed out as much as possible, but as i tried close-zoom, I survived a lot better with deaths being from stupid things instead of jumps that seem bugged.

For me it is extremely random how I take damage from lasers. I jump as perfect as I can and it doesn't help. Radomly I take damage or not. Can't figure it out

Just want to point out that I got the giant eyeball down, and am hitting the enrage on millhouse and epicus, so I can handle their mechanics with little trouble, but I die in seconds if they throw this guy in to fight me.
He's in a diferent class altogether compared to the other 3 rank 8's so hopefully he gets some sort of slight nerf to make the lasers less ambiguous or w/e. He just doesn't feel possible as a melee right now and if we have to beat him to fight the new bosses he's going to be a giant ****block for alot of people.

Make sure you don't jump off the floor grates. They are slightly lower than the normal floor and will not get you high enough to jump over the lasers sometimes. Know this and you will survive them much easier.
**Edit: Quote from blue post for patch 5.3 "Bizmo has raised the floor in his arena to hide the bodies. Or... maybe to improve the sight lines. We’ll never know for sure."
I believe this will no longer be a problem in patch 5.3 and beyond.

Disruptron Mage Guide
Spec
As of 5.2. your pretty much going to have to do this fight in fire spec. This is an extremely high movement fight and both frost and arcane simply are not going to be able to pump out enough dps on the move.
Talents
1. Presence of mind
2. Ice Barrier. I recommend this over temporal shield because during phase 2 you will want as much mitigation as you can possibly get. Ideally you will want to get into phase 2 with ice barrier still on yourself but off cooldown so that you can get hit and put ice barrier right back on yourself.
3. It really doesnt matter. You wont be using any cc's during this fight.
4. Either cauterize or cold snap. Both are very strong in this fight. You won't be able to take Greater invisibility because when you go stealth it will cancel the fight. I found cauterize to be a bit more helpful for dealing with phase 2, but both cauterize and cold snap are great choices for this fight and you should choose whichever one you feel is most beneficial to you.
5. Nether tempest simply because it deals the most single target damage.
6. I recommend invocation. Incanters ward could be a decent option as well, but ideally you want to not get hit at all before phase 2 which means you will be losing a lot of initial burst damage with incanters ward. Since your pretty much going to be scorch spamming throughout the fight your going to need every bit of damage you can get to beat the enrage. If you decide to take incanter's ward just keep in mind that you will likely be running the enrage very tight. If you take invocation try to cast evocation for a second time around 40% right before he transitions to phase 2 (if you feel like your not going to have time dont risk it its not worth getting hit by a beam).
Glyphs
1. I used glyph of combustion for extra burst damage. With glyph of combustion use combustion right off the bat and it should be off cooldown by the end of the fight.
2. I used glyph of armors. The orbs that get shot around the arena deal physical damage. Since you will be using molten armor this will give you an extra 10% damage reduction against the orbs.
3. I used glyph of ice block. During phase 2 you will want to press yourself up against a wall to avoid as many orbs as possible, particularly from the middle cannon. I often found myself having trouble transitioning into phase 2 because i couldn't make it to a wall in time before the middle cannon activated and obliterated me. With ice block glyphed you will be able to ice block as soon as phase 2 begins and blink yourself right up against a wall as soon as you come out of ice block without having to worry about blinking into an orb. And if your already up against a wall when phase 2 begins then just use ice block whenever you normally would and enjoy an extra 3 seconds of immunity.
Rundown of the fight
1. Cast evocation, pre-pot, and cast mirror images before the fight begins.
2. You will most likely have to pop all of your offensive cooldowns right off the bat in order to beat the enrage. Presence of mind and combustion should be available again towards the end of the fight.
3. A random cannon will be chosen to begin firing orbs. Try to figure out which cannon is currently firing the orbs and get to the opposite corner from that cannon, this will allow for the largest possible "safe zone" from that cannon. If the middle one is activated you have two options: A) Run to a wall to get as far away as possible. or B) Try to follow it's safe zone. The middle cannon has a safe zone that rotates clockwise around the arena, however this can be difficult to follow at times since you are constantly trying to jump beams.
4. Dont be afraid to use blink. Blink will allow you to go right through lazers and orbs you might otherwise have a tough time avoiding. It is also very useful for getting to the other side of the arena when a cannon activates near you. Also if you end up getting hit by his stun (although you really shouldnt be that close to him as a ranged dps class if you can help it) you can blink out of the stun.
5. When the boss gets to 40%ish try to get to a wall (I recommend either the front or back wall since you will be the farthest away from the middle cannon but any wall will do) and pan your camera straight up. Being against a wall is the safest place to stand in the last phase and will allow you to avoid the most possible orbs.
6. At 35% he will transition into phase 2 and all of the cannons will activate.
7. Ideally you will want to be full health going into the last phase with all of your defensive cooldowns still available. You are probably going to get hit quite a few times during this phase so use everything youve got to stay alive. Healthstones and healing potions are tremendously helpful during this phase, especially healthstones since they inherit your crit chance and as fire your going to have a very high crit chance.
8. Combustion and presence of mind should come off cooldown during this phase, dont worry about stacking a giant ignite before hitting combustion, you will be hitting beserk soon so just hit combustion as soon as possible.
9. If you hit the enrage your only shot is to ice block if you still have it up and hope that your dots will finish him off. If your having trouble with the enrage your best bet is wait until you have more gear or try again and just hope for better rng. Fire can be quite an rng spec and getting a good ignite rolling at the beginnning when you hit combustion can make a huge difference so dont feel to disheartened if you hit the enrage, you can likely still get the kill with good rng at the beginning.
Good luck!

Seemingly impossible for melee. He likes to chill on the grates, which are lower than the actual floor making it impossible to jump over the lasers. As a 520 melee, I say theres no way, unless you get extremely lucky and he avoids the grates the entire fight

While people may suggest some bugged ways to avoid the lasers, if they do exist, they'll be fixed at some point. Let me list here a legitimate way to handle the laser.
Two notes at first:
1) If you jump on the grates (in the Horde version at least, I can't speak for sure about Alliance), you'll still get hit by the beams. Sorry, I know it sucks, but that's how it is.
2) Due to the the way grates work, this fight is currently extremely hard for melee. This guide applies more to range.
The trick I found to this fight is getting the rhythm of how the lasers go. They always go in a very predictable fashion, with the only RNG being the cannons.
When the fight starts, run somewhat to the left. Jump the first laser that comes from the left. From this point on, you want to spend most of the fight on that narrow grate that's close to the wall, but not literally touching the wall (if you touch the wall, your camera will often spin weird and cause you to die). One of the lasers stops when it touches this narrow grate, so by standing on that narrow grate, you won't have to deal with the laser. This remove one possibility of messing up and gives you better dps time due to reduced movement needs. You'll still need to jump the laser that comes all the way to the wall and the one that goes longways.
The cannons represent the only RNG in the fight. If the cannons are along the left wall, you'll rarely have to deal with them except when jumping a laser as these cannons don't generally hit the grates on their own sides. If it's a cannon on the right side of the room, while you'll technically have to dodge cannons, the orbs are very spread out by the time they get to you, and most won't affect you; the few that do, you'll have PLENTY of time to see and plan how to dodge. The bad cannon to get is the one in the middle. It's perfectly manageable, you just have less time to react. There aren't a lot of tricks here other than just dodge it; it's harder than the others, but being along the grate will get you about as far away as possible.
When the short-ways laser hits the wall, you'll need to jump it, move a little bit out to give yourself time, and then jump it again when it comes back. From this point on, LEARN THE TIMING OF THE LASERS ON THIS WALL. The timing of the lasers absolutely never changes. For the first half of the fight, you'll alternate getting a short-ways laser you have to jump and one that won't go past the grate (you won't have to jump). This portion of the fight is very easy.
About halfway through the fight, you'll start getting the lasers being very close together. While you might try to use some trick to jump them both and go to the other side of the room (and this could be fine), I wouldn't recommend it. If you go to the right side of the room, the lasers start overlapping each other around the time the boss will be hitting his soft enrage, which is utter hell. Rather, learn to have fancy footwork for the one or two times the lasers on the left wall overlap one another and you'll be fine. Remember, even when they overlap, one stops at the grate and the other doesn't, so with a well timed jump, you can jump over the one that goes to the wall and land on the grate so that the other laser doesn't affect you. However, what I'd recommend is, once you get good enough at the first half of the fight that you're not getting hit anymore, once you start getting a round or two that the lasers are completely overlapped, simply STAND ON THE GRATE, DON'T JUMP, and POP A COOLDOWN. The lasers hurt but they don't one-shot you, and if you've done well so far, you should have a cooldown available to not die. By standing on the grate, one laser will run over you and the other will stop, and the lasers will spread out again to let you jump the far-moving laser when it comes back. Once you do the fight enough times, you will know which set of lasers this is; it occurs around the 0:45 to enrage mark. Once this occurs, the lasers will move out of sync, and they'll be relatively easy to jump during his soft enrage, which is when you need it most (if you move to the right wall, they'll be aligning like this during the soft enrage, making it very hard).
Otherwise, save ALL cd's for the end of the fight. The soft enrage is a cluster of cannon-fire. Obviously these don't flat-out one-shot you, but even with really good footwork, you're going to get hit by some of them (probably), so you want to keep this phase as short as possible.

5.2 + 5.3 elemental shaman tipps. (no levitate)
this is a fight that is probably easier for an elemental shaman, than most other classes. downed him 3 days ago. here some tipps:
Glyphs
- glyph of unleashed lightning (must have) -
obsolete in 5.3
- glyph of flame shock (for some extra healing)
- glyph of Spiritwalker's Grace (some extra mobility, no other glyph would be helpful)
Talents
- ancestral guidance (goes well with ascendance)
- primal elementalist (best mobility)
for the Pull I used:
- primal fire elemental
- brawlers prepot
- shamanistic rage (will be ready again after 1 min)
-> try to get him to approx 35% without using any other cooldowns. you can even cast a (lesser) healing wave if you drop low, depending on your ilvl. with ilvl 517 and 127 k dps i didnt come close to the berserk.
-> only jump the necessary lasers. (not off the grades) if you hug the left wall as horde, you dont need to jump the slower one of the 2 laser.
At approx 30% to 35%
I used the following makro (make sure flame shock is freshly renewed):
/cast bloodlust (for dps)
/cast Stormlash Totem (for dps)
/cast Spiritwalker's Grace (for LvB during ascendance)
/cast Ascendance (for DPS)
/cast shamanistic rage (self cd)
/cast ancestral guidance (for awesome heal)
/cast astral shift (for the first crazy 6 seconds)
(you might have to click it more than once)
and then LvB, LvB, LvB...+ jump lasers
I downed him shortly after ascendance stopped. it took approx 15 serious trys
didnt need healing pot or anything like that, but make sure you have some, just in case.
------------------------------------------
for learning the fight I recommend:
try to jump the lasers without doing any damage and try to reach the berserk. this way you can get used to the lasers quite well.

finally managed as enhance shaman.
At start i only popped brawler potion, searing totem and earth ele (as EM/PE build) and took it slow.
at around 1min to the fight ( when fire elemental can be dropped), i looked a safe spot, popped everything i had (forgot to use 2nd pot though :P) and nuked the living snot out of the bot. Astral Shift + Shammy rage saved my butt there as 2 beams back to back were coming towards me in the end.
I really really recommend saving haste cds and fire elemental a bit later. I had many tries where I went full nuke at start but at best managed to get it to 16%. The discs are just too much in the end.
Also the elementals deal quite the majority of the damage during the fight. For me even only their normal attacks did 2mil+ of total. Also do not glyph fire elemental. That is a BAD idea.
currently 523ilv with full ToT gear

EDIT: Ignore any suggestions that you get vengeance, you don't, but again, with the self heals from blood it makes the last burn very survivable. You just have to play smart, using dancing rune smart, putting up double diseases with it and double soul reaper with it.
After dying to this fight infinite times as frost and unholy (both are absolutely viable if you play them right, just felt like changing it up) I decided to try this fight as blood. This fight was made considerably easier as blood. You have to have a ton of gear for this to be viable (520+ iLevel) but if you have the gear, going blood makes this fight much easier. I was able to take a laser on purpose to get more veng to beat the enrage.
Talents: Roiling blood (doesn't matter honestlyly), purg, Asphyxiate, Death Pact, Runic Corruption, and Remorseless winter. Glyphs don't really matter, glyph for AMS and Vamp blood, last one really doesn't matter.
Make sure you start the fight with a prearmy and prepot, outbreak, get to 60 RP, pop dancing rune, plague strike and icy touch (your dancing rune will also do it and get double diseases up) and just death strike / heart strike / rune strike spam. Death Strike is barely less dps than heart strike but the blood shield will save your ass for the discs you will take (it's okay to take these, vengeance will be needed). Use asphyxiate for the first cast and pre remorseless winter for the 2nd. The cast is 5 seconds and remorseless is also 5 seconds so you need to use it a second before he starts casting. If you're an engineer you can also put a frag bomb into your belt which will stun him. Pet stun too if you're unholy. at 1 min pop your ghoul for more damage, pop dancing rune on CD, make sure you soul reaper on CD that damage will be needed and it helps. Save AMS for the enrage so you can keep dpsing and if you did things right purg will activate after ams fades for another 3 seconds of dps. Good luck to everyone trying this, this boss is the most awful anti melee npc blizzard has ever created.

If you try to jump over the highlighted parts of the beam, you'll die if they're lit-up. I wouldn't attempt to jump over if I were you though (even though I actually did on my kill).
Also an interesting trick I found was being transformed by

after using this I one shot him, as I took the appearance as a good reference to the point where I needed to jump. - Let it get close to the transformation and then jump.

Tips for Rogues: use first pre-potion before boss appeares, save your bursts for last-phase (35%). On the last phase the boss will activate 4/5 machines - its your time ti burst. Put smokeboms under yourself, kidney boss, use 2nd prepot and deal as much dmg as u can. And also get "Cheat Death" from talents to have second chance.
And check this video (Rogue):

Completely impossible with current hit detection and glitches, if you have anything above 30 latency. I've tried jumping the lasers early, tried late, tried what looks like a middle ground... ALWAYS get hit. Every time. No timing for the jump seems to work at all. I'm doing this as a paladin, and even Speed of Light isn't getting me over the lasers.

After watching a very skilled ret paladin beat this guy on his first try, I finally beat it later the same day as an alliance warrior. Seeing as there are currently no vids of warriors killing this guy on youtube, I thought I might post a few things that helped me both in general and as a warrior.
Regarding bugs - I found, like many other people, the lasers are bugged sometimes - in the sense that to clear them you need an absolutely perfect jump, while others can be a lot more relaxed with the timing. This seemed to occur on certain fights rather than just individual lasers. I think, but am not at all certain, that it may be due to either of the following things - moving at the start of the fight, before disruptron spawns, or perhaps due to race hitbox sizes. What I do know is that on the day I killed it, I had no trouble with the lasers when not moving at all at the start of the fight, and when using a Vrykul horn to increase my size (I am a dwarf). This was in contrast to earlier attempts where I couldn't even clear more than a couple of lasers without being hit despite jumping in the same way and with the same latency. Oddly I may have even had bugs in my favour towards the end as visually I appeared to be hit by at least one laser and a couple of discs yet did not die despite having only minor cooldowns up and already being at half health.
As for warrior tips - I would advise using glyph of hindering strikes to slow him without needing to use hamstring. Macro all of your cooldowns (survival and dps, including any useful racials and colossus smash) into a single button ready to pop at 35%. I didn't use shield wall, but if you find you need to survive longer in the last phase it may be useful to glyph it for a 60% damage reduction and use that as well. Don't forget that intimidating shout can be used to interrupt the stun without having to charge him. In terms of good trinkets to use - the shado-pan assault trinket due to its expertise (Disruptron can parry, and you can't be too picky with positioning here) plus it is likely to proc for the second time at about 1:25 or so which should be when you're getting close to 35%, and perhaps the spark of zandalar. I didn't use this but it would be reasonable to expect it to proc around the same time. Ji-kun's feather could give you an extreme boost to your burst DPS in the second phase but is unreliable - I wouldn't recommend using it unless you have no other strong trinkets or your gear is at a level where you need such a proc to occur to kill him quickly enough. Obviously, SoO will introduce a few more powerful bursty trinkets which will be even better for the second phase.
That's about it, apologies for the wall of text - good luck with the fight!

Managed to kill this boss today (in 5.3 without levitate) after I found out one very important thing. (skip the next paragraph to directly find out what I did)
I was in the same situation as most people posting here: Jumping over the lasers simply didn't work about 80% of the time, even when executed perfectly with 30ms latency. So I began to experiment and tried out all kinds of strategies found across the web: Standing still at the beginning of the fight, changing the size of my character, jumping extremely early, jumping extremely late and so on... but nothing really seemed to work.
Since that 80% failure rate per jump made it impossible to progress I nearly gave up and decided that this boss would be unkillable for me until they fix him - but then I toyed around a bit and finally found the HOLY GRAIL for laser jumping:
-> DO NOT HOLD DOWN YOUR MOVEMENT KEY(S) WHILE IN THE AIR!
Using this technique my "laser-failure-rate" went down to nearly 0%, I finally was able to progress the boss and downed him within the next hour.
It seems that holding the movement keys while in the air causes an invisible animation ("moving feet"?) that extends your characters hitbox downwards in the vertical direction, thus making laser jumping extremely difficult.
This would also explain why certain people have extreme problems jumping over the lasers and others can do it with ease - it depends on the personal habit of holding down the movement keys while in the air or not - I had to change my habits for this fight the hard way ;).
This was done as a gnome warrior with no size-changing buffs, up to now I wasn't able to verify this technique with other races. If some people could confirm my theory this would be a very interesting discovery and may be also relevant for example if Blizzard should create a Raid encounter that involves some kind of "laser jumping".

Killed this as blood, got sick of dying while playing frost spec.
Such a ranged biased fight imo.
Anyway what I did was I avoided the lines, but I soaked up the white-ball things, they provided me with around 70k vengeance which helped me easily beat the enrage timer.

Couldn't find it in any official or unofficial patch notes, but the damage of this boss seems to have been significantly reduced. Beat him on patch day after failing to do so at least 50 times as a rogue because of his soft enrage at the end. Spheres seemed to only be doing 60k or so, laser lines maybe three times that.

This fight is a testament to WoW's horrific collision detection. On horde side there no point even jumping because 9/10 you will get hit anyways.
edit: they seem to have nerfed this fight quite a bit. It's easier to jump over the lasers again, and the damage is much, much lower

As of 5.4:
Levitate works.
The laser jumping issues might be because of latency and it might not. I almost never lag or have bad latency and certainly didn't on all my attempts on this chump. The lasers are VERY picky with positioning and timing (the same positioning and timing seeming to change from attempt to attempt). There is no rhyme or reason to the laser jumping. I found it to be almost completely luck based. Plus as a melee you have to actually stop hitting the boss sometimes in order to avoid the lethal damage from the lasers since he doesn't follow you at all. This is how I justified levitating through the fight. It works on lasers but not on orbs.
Still save your cool downs for 35%. You will get hit by an orb and loose your levitate. You will want your defensive cool downs for this part

Can they just fire the moron that coded that?
edit: Reasoning: Exploited with levitate. It doesn't collision detect correctly. Invisible stuff hit you. Can't be interrupted but stunned. WTF. Another proof the game is written by a mage with a priest in group.

This is quite annoying for a melee. Killed him today with 566 warrior (Horde) barely surviving.
DO NOT try to run and jump at the same time. Tried this more than 10 times that way. It is impossible to avoid that damage if you are doing this.
Instead stay put and jump just before they reach you. It is even possible to do a corner jump that way.

I did this as a Combat Rogue.
My suggestion is to take
Glyph of Cheap Shot
combined with the talent
Prey on the Weak
.
What I did:
Just before combat, prepot and stealth.
Immediately open with Cheap Shot, Slice and Dice, Killing Spree, in that order.
Continue to DPS normally while dodging lasers and orbs.
When Disruptron gets close to the 35% mark and casts Static Charge, do a 5-point Cheap Shot.
Using Prey on the Weak's damage buff, pop your potion + AR + SB macro and DPS as hard as you can.
As the stun wears off, pop Smoke Bomb and pray that you'll finish in time.
Since Killing Spree cannot be used safely at any time other than the start of the fight, you can get the most mileage out of it by using it with the PotW damage buff on the opening Cheap Shot. When glyphed, the buff lasts longer.
Likewise the Cheap Shot should give you some time to jump in place while dumping as much DPS as possible on him while he's stationary.
That said, it will take some time to familiarize yourself with the lasers and to overcome the inherent RNG in this fight. But keep going! You'll get it eventually.

Killed this yesterday after several sub 5% wipes by cheesing it a bit with these items from TI:
气泡老啤酒
馥郁老啤酒
薄雾老啤酒
Popped all three at the start of the fight. This cut down on the cannon fire considerably up until Disruptron activated all of the cannons.

You CAN PvP trinket out of his stun! So, in the event that you don't CC or run out of the range just pop your
Insignia of the Horde
(
or Alliance
) and go to town.

Okay so this guy was actually really easy.

All the commotion going on in there - ignore it for the most part.
Don't let it overwhelm you.
I ran to the left side - targeted him when he came out and launched everything on him right away. Pet, Dire Beast, Stampede, and all the cool downs I had. The only thing I did - was occasionally jump when the red beams on the ground passed underneath me. I had to use a pot once.
Burned him down otherwise.
The sonic thingies never even touched me and I think I got hit maybe once or twice by the red beams. Just jump when they get close and they pass harmlessly underneath you either backwards/forwards or side to side...

Ugh, all these posts with tactics...
1)get 550+ gear
2)start fight
3) 1-shot boss(seriously, you shouldn't have any problems with DPS at 550+ gear)
4)? ?
5) PROFIT!
i personally killed him in 522, 549, 579 and 589 item lvl, gear "nerfs" disruptron like nothing else. You don't need any skill literally at 580+ ilvl, just facetank it and push your rotation buttons.

Just found out that
碎裂护符
works in this fight. I took zero damage from lasers and solar beams. Might get handy if you make a mistake and there is too much stuff to dodge. You can just run through everything with this and take zero dmg.
Might get fixed in future though.

nice comments, but an actual straigt forward guide would be handy.

Disruptron has 10.47 million health (87,250 dps required in 2 minutes)
The central pylon cannon thing has 8.72 million health (requiring an extra 72,666 dps).
As an Australian (260ms), Horde (love those grills) Melee (...sigh...),
I found it simpler to burn the central pylon down quickly first, then swap to Disruptron.
I was able to get significantly better uptime on Disruptron & take substantially less damage along the way.
And as a general comment: I did not enjoy this fight. The melee vs ranged difficulty was ludicrously & unenjoyably imbalanced. It took me a couple of dozen of attempts as melee... and then I one shot it with a 20 ilvl lower ranged.
