This mob may be summoned by killing many
热毒牙幼蛛
s in the Forbidden Jungle area. She appears on a small rise in the middle of the area.
She can be a tricky kill if you're poorly geared and not quick on the adds. During combat she'll call in many, many
热毒牙幼蛛
s from the surrounds. Fortunately they die in one hit and aren't a problem if you have decent AoE.
She is tameable by hunters, but the main reason for summoning and killing her would be that she drops a fun and useful item:
热毒牙卵囊
.

This mob is a great way to get your guild Critter Kill Squad. Simply do not kill her and stay in combat. Keep killing the waves and waves of critters that come your way

The
fastest
spot to farm critters is in the Forbidden Jungle (cords 18,45) in Karsarang Wilds.
The area is a small loop full of Feverbite Hatchlings and in the center of the area there is a small mound where
Feverbite
is located.
Feverbite
has a short respawn timer and I've usually been able to get her to spawn after doing just one single loop around her mound.
Feverbite
is an excellent way to farm additional critters due the the massive amounts of Hatchlings that spawn and gather at your feet during your fight with her. As long as you don't kill her the waves will continue to come about every 8 - 10 secs and will continue until she is killed.
I'll gamble that two guild members could easily farm 10 - 15k+ critters an hour if one ran the loop while one farmed
Feverbite
when she spawned.
Nice, quick and easy.
(edited to correct coords, thanks Joyouslydead for pointing that out.)

Spawns about 50 critters every 15 seconds. Approximately 12,000 an hour.

Best place to work towards the Critter Kill Squad for your guild achieve here's some details if you're interested.
I have done a bit of critter farming and Feverbite is by far the best place to do it.
Here's how I did it for those that would like to know how to do it the simplest way possible.
I highly recommend using a hunter for one because your pet can take all the damage of misses Feverbite and you just sit there and kill all the hatchlings as they come.
Recommendation for a hunter.
-A turtle is my favorite pet to use with this situation because your pet isn't do any damage but turtles are more "durable" than other pets (more health, better armor, and more healing taken).
-Marksmanship is the best spec that I used because I only used multi-shot as my AoE and there is the nice chance to reduce the cost of that spell by 50% and if you have thrill of the hunt as a talent it's even better so Marksmanship is best for this situation.
-Equip one of the dinkiest weapons you can find which is most simply done by getting a gun from the ranged weapon vendor in Thunder Bluff. And I mean dinky here, not the best one the guys sells but the dinkiest of them all.
-When Feverbite is getting low on health, which will take a while, just dismiss your pet and feign death. Her health will reset and then you don't have to wait 11 minutes for her to respawn. And then of course summon your pet once more when you are ready to engage her again.
-Make sure your pets Growl is on as that will keep the queen on your pet, I like to tell my pet to Stay which is in the pet spellbook and I also put my pet on passive so no more damage than necessary is being dealt to the queen
-One more tip, don't wait for there to be a large amount of the hatchlings to arrive before killing them just keep a fairly steady attack when there are at least 3 hatchlings there because the little spiders come to the defense of the queen so if you're not attacking her at all you may have to wait longer for them to come to here defense.
I can't say that the hunter is the best class to do it with because that is the only class I've tried it with but it was a piece of cake and there is no need whatsoever for a second person to help.
Hope this helps some people.

Probably goes without saying, but it's a ridiculously easy fight if you're a Destruction Warlock. The embers you'll generate from killing hatchlings just to summon her should put you at or near your max, and the ones you'll be killing non-stop just by 'shielding' yourself from the swarmers will give you embers faster than you can spend them.

I had to kill approximately 150
热毒牙幼蛛
s before Feverbite spawned (second time it took 100 Hatchlings).
Yet I'm getting nowhere near the 12k kills per hour that others mention, it's looking more like 4k per hour.

I've gotten this item several times now. Each time I went back to get this item after using all the charges, I did the same thing to get Feverbite to spawn:
I simply started at the tree directly behind where Feverbite spawns and killed the tiny spiders. I went in one entire counter-clockwise circle around Feverbite's spawn point killing the tiny spiders until i made it back to the original tree. Feverbite spawns every time. I've done this once a day for 6 days now so its seems pretty reliable.
It may be timer based on how many spiders you kill in 1 minute because it takes me less than a minute to spinning crane kick my way around the circle. Or it may be just a straight number of kills required to spawn her, but I have found this way spawns Feverbite every time.
Is it sheer luck? I'm not sure. I'd be awfully lucky to be able to repeat the same result everyday like that though. Hope this helps someone!

This is so ridiculously easy (but rather boring) on a hunter. I'm a beast master hunter so I have Spirit Bond which helps but, you don't really need it. I used a cat, I didn't want to use any pet with an ability like Spiked Collar because I didn't want Feverbite to take any damage. Also I'm lvl 90 so I didn't have to worry about her being too hard... anyway...
If there's any guild out there that hasn't gotten Critter Kill Squad yet, make your hunters do this, at least for a little bit:
1) Go to Krasarang Wilds (18,45) and start killing spiders. I ran around and hit Barrage as I was running and turned around in circles because Barrage was cool like that. But multi-shot works well too and once you get Feverbite up you don't really need Barrage anymore anyway.
2) once Feverbite is up, get her on your pet. Stop shooting her though. Just use growl. Also, put your pet on passive. Then, use the "Move To" command and move your pet somewhere convenient where you will have lots of space but still be in range of your pet.
Now you should be able to move around freely with nothing on you and your pet should be standing in one spot, not attacking but with Feverbite attacking him.
3) Position yourself close but not too close to Feverbite. I stood about 5 steps in front of her front legs. Then turn around so you don't face her.
4) Heal your pet. Once the critters spawn and run to Feverbite, they will attack your pet, you can get them to attack you instead by healing your pet and for some reason this doesn't take the aggro from Feverbite off your pet. The critters all run to you and surround you...
5) Back up. You should have enough room to back up far enough that now all the critters are in front of you but YOU are still in front of Feverbite and therefore have no chance to shoot her.
6) Hit multi-fire. Boom, approx 50 or so critters dead. Walk forward again.
Rinse and repeat.
Your pet has Feverbite's attention, you keep your pet healed and the critters on you and Feverbite takes no damage at all.
You can go like this for hours... until your eyes bleed.
If, for some reason Feverbite changes aggro and attacks you, just get your pet to growl. That might cause your pet to attack even if it's on passive for some reason, just hit defensive and then passive again right away and he'll stop, Feverbite will be back on him and all is good again.
We had about 1500 critters left to get our achievement. Took like 1/2hr. Got another 2k just for $%^&s and giggles (there's another achievement to get 100k but you don't get anything for it) and then quit.
Happy farming!

A priest can do this with absolute ease (at level 90, ilevel around 490). I used my off spec, Holy.
Simply, aggro Feverbite, wait for the spiders to come (around 50 to 60 of them every 10 seconds), kill them with Mind Sear (for only a brief second), and heal yourself up as per needed.
Using Mind Sear only touches Feverbite a little, which is important, as this way you can kill three to five thousand little spiders without resetting her. When her health gets too low (it is a pity Feverbite doesn't heal herself), run away and reset her. Then aggro her again, rinse and repeat.
My mana never went below 80%, Using only Flash Heal and Desperate Prayer every now and then, keeping Shield up (when you want, it is not necessary really).
I have killed another thousand whilst typing this comment... :)

So I started killing hatchlings - a tedious process, given that they were not targetable - Boss spawned, I killed it, then as I was dealing with more spiderlings as I moved to loot the corpse, it despawned, never to return no matter how many hatchlings I killed. I don't think I will be returning to such a pain in the but task for a 3 charge gimmick.

As a mage you can simply keep her polymorphed and her wave of hatchlings will continue to pour out towards you, and if they do stop coming simply pop ice lace or a low damaging spell and re pop polymorph and she'll heal up the damage and never die.
Easy way to get your guild the achievement hope it helps!
Sincerely,
Drkpenguin of Proudmoore
(Note put your pet on passive if you're frost because it will break the CC)

Still a great place to get your Critter Kill Squad achievement. (Can you say Armadillo Pup). As a lvl 100 Rogue simply stand with your back to her and use Fan of Knives once the hatchlings are all around your feet.
Pop Recuperate occasionally to keep your health up (though it only drops a small amount) - and use Evasion on CD.
If Feverbite's health starts to drop you can use Shadowmeld (if Nightelf) and/or Vanish. Using NO poisons will keep her health from dropping much at all. The calculations in other posts are close to what I experienced. Happy (pet) hunting!

If you are using her to farm critter kills, when she gets low on health just run around her little hill and she will reset.
