damn asshole calls all mobs in final room to his help , if u didnt kill them, mine lvl 39pala(by that time) was wiped by a wave of around 7-16 locks+their minions. oops.... forgot to notice- iv been runnin straight to him so there were more mobs lol

Solo'd as a 24 druid. Cleared a couple of mobs near him 1st, then dragged him into one of the little cubicle things on the side. Mind blast's for 185ish, melee's for about 35 in bear form, periodically casts sleep on u the breaks it with a melee or Mind Blast, didn't mind control once, has about 1500 mana, and he ran out when i had him down to about 25%, needed to use a mana pot for this guy as the mind blast really hurts. Also immune to bash and warstomp.

The mobs around him cast dominate mind so clear them first.

thats mind control, dispellable by priest Dispel Magic or Purge... i think

This is one of the first good horde instances where it really takes a group working together to make it to the end - this is also one of the longer dungeons to get to the end boss, Aku'mai.

Ridiculously easy to solo. I went in as a 28 rogue and ended with 75% health. Immune to stuns and kick, so open with garrote. You do not need to clear the room before killing him.

I soloed him as a 24 Resto Druid. =)

Stealth through the instance to his room. Pick a back corner (I prefer the south) and kill the patrol that walks there without pulling anything else. Now you have a free corner to work with.

Pull with Starfire/Moonfire and run into an alcove so he follows. After that, the only spells I used were Moonfire, Rejuvenation, and Regrowth. Melee damage did 41%, Moonfire and Thorns did the rest.

His Sleep spell is useless, since he breaks it immediately, but it was annoying if he cast it while I was casting Regrowth. So you really only have to deal with Mind Blast (42%) and melee damage (58%).

Both drops are very nice for me at this level. :D

GL to others soloing this easy boss!

Edit: I should mention that the two patrols in the back of the room (if left alive) will run to the middle where he sits when he is pulled. This is only an issue if they are alive and/or you are too close to the middle when you pull. They are not "linked" mobs though. The one I left alive always reset to it's normal pathing after a few seconds.

Just make sure you don't light the four candles at the same time and you should be fine.

When attempting to solo him, kite him around a pillar so he is unable to hit you with his Mind Blast and Sleep ability, because you are not in his Line Of Sight (LoS).

He is easily solo'd , especially if you have an heirloom item or two.

so freakin' easy 2 kill as an undead rogue(lvl 30 Sub spec):open with garrote,then Ghosty,Hemo,and make sure u got Mind-Numbing poison on weps.Make sure u keep Hemo on always.When he casts Ghostly fast so u can get the dodge chance.

I don't know why, but I once saw him using Shiny War Axe instead of his usual Rod of the Sleepwalker

perhaps it was just my eyes...he did drop his axe, as well as the staff O.o

Effect range of his sleep is very short. When you see him casting sleep, jump back and you won't be effected.
