Remember that the building he is in is no longer the inn, though it used to be. It's the building at the very back of the area. The warrior and rogue trainers are standing to the left of it.

tombs are different, i have to get used to going into buildings that would normally not have anyone living in them. but as a undead that would be the first place to look, wouldn't it.

The lvl 9 bears now near the Bulwark also drop modest quantities of bear meat (and you have a moderate drop rate quest to kill them) so hold onto it for this recipe. You can get to 40 with the two stringy wolf meat recipes (drops off of the hounds all around Brill) and the spicy bat wing recipe which you can buy in the Brill Inn.

Here's what you need to know: as of Cataclysm, this guy is NOT located at the Inn, nor is he in a "building". He is located in an UNDERGROUND area that is accessed via the thing that looks suspiciously like the Agamand Family Crypt, on the westernmost edge of the settlement.
