I'm currently levelling a mage with frost AoE, so I thought I'd stop by and comment on all my spots.

The ghouls just outside of the crypt-thingie in raven hill are pretty good, great cash, trash and cloth drops, all melee and easy to kite around, although they are a little bit spread out, which would be my only complaint about them, Oh, and some of the ghouls spawn worms when they die. Usually not a problem, as they just die to the blizzard, but if it's a close call and you're wanding, they can get you on occasion.

this guy defiently doesn'y drop 4g/kill like its showing up on my computer. Acording to thottbot it only drops around 60 copper

Fun fact about this mob: It has the lowest NPC id in the entire game. This means that it was one of the first, possibly even the first mob ever created for WoW.

So by the look at the ability's of this mob it is: combat rogue, feral druid, Warrior, Priest, Mage, A engineer, Steward of Time, a Arcane charge, a scroll, a Bladefist's Breadth, and a hearthstone. Wow this NPC sure has got around

I dont remember the last time a mob had all expense paid flights through caverns, and travel sized defibrillators. I think somewhere along the line, some one just started adding random things to the ability page.

I would rather not fight this mob seeing it has flight form and bearform...
Aggro: MAARGHH (Flightform).

What I noticed lately is that after I killed one another one shortly after would come out of the ground near certain graves. After that I started being a lot more careful.

This mob drops Ghoul Fang, needed for the quest The Totem of Infliction.

You may want to do this quest at the same time as The Night Watch.

I don't believe it works that way. I am pretty sure WoWHead captures the NPC ID from the game itself.

It's wrong. The first NPC is Waypoint, deleted in some early patch. ID #1.

True, but that still makes this NPC one of the first NPCs in the game. :)

This is probably the only ghoul variant which these days has not a single special ability besides melee combat.

Look up "imp minion" hes like "Dane --something's" pet, has ID of 2 this isnt lowest :)

...One of them was in Elwynn Forest today, south of Goldshire. And it wasn't evade bugging or anything, it aggroed the Warrior I was leveling.

Considering that the earliest of all WoW pre-alpha screenshots clearly show Duskwood, it would make perfect sense for this NPC to be one of the first implemented, if not THE first hostile NPC.
