These wolves practically kite themselves. As a level 8-9 hunter, I'm able to take minimum damage by constantly walking backwards in a straight line. The wolves will constantly try to apply Threatening Growl (until you get the debuff) on you, which has a 1-second cast time and a very small range. In one second, you are able to be out of range of the howl and able to pull off an arcane shot/sting/concussive shot.

This is as far as I know the only hunter pet in WoW with an on-click sound effect.
After being tamed, if clicked on this wolf, and ONLY this wolf, will respond to your clicks with 3 different bark sounds.

Drop rate is bad for me, killed about 10 wolves, only 3 teeth so far...

Best pet for a new Tauren Hunter to start off with. Good damage, cool-looking and their ability is kinda like Battle Shout.

Since the Shattering this wolf seems to pounce and appear behind you when you attack! As a newbie hunter I was wondering if these keep that ability?

Firstly, does it have the ability when you tame it at level 10? And secondly, if it doesn't, does it learn the ability later on?
