The Crone is the Main Boss of the Theater Event with Dorothee, Roar, Tinhead and Strawman.
Not much to say about her. Just Tank her constantly and DPS her down. Watch the health a bit and she is no Problem.
She always stays focused on the Tank, and occasionally cast a debuff that let some people around her to fly slowly in the Air. This lasts only a few seconds an doesn't do any Damage.
What else can I say, she is a free loot :)
Good Luck.

As Zerahul said, she's total tank & spank. The only part to mention is that you do in fact need to kill Roar, Dorothee, Tinhead, Strawman and Tito before you get to face The Crone.
A very fun boss fight for those finding the ever stale Naxx, AQ, BWL fights to be tiresome.

Ok, since there doesn't seem to be any sort of a guide for this fight on WoWhead that I have found I'll put it here.
The Fight consist of two phases. The Chaos and the Crone.
-Chaos
You have you Dorothy, Roar, Strawman and Tinhead and Tito all coming out (in that order) and attacking your group during this fight.
Dorothy is soft but has alot of HP. She stays *mostly* stationary and casts frost bolts completely randomly. They hit for anywhere from 1k - 2.5k frost damage. Thats all she does. Just DPS her down.
Roar is a major X factor in this fight. It is absolutely critical that he is imediately dealt with as he is one of two of these mobs that can and easily and very quickly will kill your soft targets. He hits cloth for around 2.5k - 4k and hits very fast. He also moves EXTREMELY fast. Roar hits a tank for about 1.8k damage. To save mana, he is a beast, and as such a hunter can fear him. However, when the fear comes off make sure a tank is highest on his threat and ready to pick him up.
Strawman comes out next. Strawman hits hard, moves slow and has AoE fear. He is also a relatively soft target and has slightly less HP than Dorothy. Strawman, being made of straw, takes heavy damage from fire spells. Additionally fire disorients him. Making him walk around as if blinded or scatter shotted, this is not interrupted by melee, ranged or spell damage and can be effectively kept on him for the entire fight by a skilled warlock or mage depending on whats available to you.
Tinhead comes next. Tinhead can EASILY wipe your entire group in under a few seconds if not dealt with promptly. He hits VERY hard, moves VERY fast and has a cleave which incidentally, hits VERY hard as well. Tinhead will go straight for a healer when he becomes targetable and will not be diverted easily. He is also immune to taunt. Frost Bolt will reduce his movement speed though and it stacks. Once the maximum number of frost bolt effects have been stacked on him he moves at roughly 10% of his normal speed.
Now for Tito, he comes out of Dorothy shortly after Tinhead is released. Tito is a Small dog (Go figure) that hits cloth for roughly 1k at moderate speed. He hits a Hunter or Warlock pet for about 400-500. He's just an annoyance and another X factor that needs to be dealt with. He has roughly 50,000 HP and very low armor. Can be killed very quickly.
After ALL of these mobs are killed The Crone herself Spawns. She has about as much HP as Dorothy and comparably squishy. The only random thing to worry about here is a whirlwind. It will toss people up into the air and is hard to get out of if it catches you. Make sure people spread out before the last mob dies, because The Crone spawns Immediately.

THE EXECUTION.
Based on the information provided I'm sure many of you can form a relatively good strategy to work with the group you have. If your still having trouble here is a suggestion.
-Healers spread out alone the railing.
-Melee DPS (Thats the rogues) in front of them ready to get on Dorothy.
-Both tanks in the middle
-Ranged DPS at the edges
-Dorothy comes out first RIGHT in the middle. ALL Unoccupied DPS'ers on her.
-Roar comes out next, 1 Tank ready to grab him with taunt and a few sunders. Tank him for a few seconds.
Strawman pops out now. Your warlock / mage gets on him right away (from a distance) and starts blasting him with fire spells as frequently as possible. He should now be immobilized.
-DPS should still be on Dorothy. Make sure no one is near the back of the stage. NO ONE.
-Tinhead spawns now. Hunter has to be ready to distracting shot it to MAIN tank. Hes not tauntbale so tanks gotta build agro on it while moving. Kind of walk him back and forth on the back of the stage. A mage will start stacking Frost Bolt effects with Frost Bolt(Rank 1) so as not to get premature agro. After that the mage can go all out to get it off the tank. Make sure frost bolt effect stays on him and start kiting him back and forth at the back of the stage where the warrior was walking him. DO NOT drag him through your group. He will cleave inadvertent targets and one or two shot your healers.
-Hunter continues to infrequently fear Roar to save on mana for the healers healing that tank.
-Tito will have spawn shortly and Dorothy should be very close to dead. Put a hunter pets on Tito, once Dorothy is dead have a rogue evasion tank. Burn Tito down as fast as possible.
-Scarecrow is now the target . Kill him while he remains disoriented.
-Now focus your DPS on Tinhead. He still cleaves inadvertant targets so becarefull.
-After Tinhead, Roar is still getting tanked/feared. Roar is easy. Your raid can top off HP, healers can regen mana and people can get spread out to get ready for The Crone. Finish Roar quickly and she spawns immediately.
-The Crone is easy, Doesn't hit too hard, doesn't have much HP, easy to build and keep agro. The only random factor is the whirlwind. Avoid it well enough and you win.
Grats on beating hardest event in the Theater.

hunter genwedar i got a question, our warlock was spamming searing pain on the strawman, but suddenly it just didnt affect him anymore and he ran in and killed the warlock, tomorrow when we are gonna try the crone again, we will do it like this :
DPS= nuke down dorothy
hunter, scare roar when he spawns and a offtank takes him
strawman, we will have both mage and warlock fire nuking him
tinhead = the maintank will take him into a corner and tank him there,
and our hunter pet will take tito when he spawns
and the kill order will be : dorothy - tito - strawman - tinhead - roar
our mt will be loaded with health so hopefully he will be able to stay alive on tinhead ;) but we'll see, i'll tell you if this works out.

Dont tank Tin man.. Just let your tank use 5 sec on him and then kite him at the end of the stage from 1 side to the other over and over again... he will fast start to slow down and your tank will only get a hit or two once he turn around.. ¨
This way you only have to cast a Rejuv/Renew once a while on him.. should be enough when the kiting starts

Summary:
1. Kill Dorothee
2. Gain threat on Roar
3. Tank Strawman (and kill)
4. Fear Roar
5. Gain threat on Tinhead, apply frost & kite (Mage)
6. Kill Tinhead
7. Kill Roar
8. Kill Crone
Dorothee is untankable and will attack at random, so have everyone unleash full DPS and burn her down as fast as possible.
Now, each add is not spawned (or "enabled") at the same time. Dorothee and Roar are attackable upon engagement, followed in 15 seconds by the Strawman, and 15-20 seconds later by Tinhead. Strawman is tanked in the Southwest corner. The off-tank should build aggro on Roar until Tinhead spawns, which will keep Roar coming back to him for the entire duration of the fight. The off-tank leaves Roar as soon as Tinhead engages and leaves Roar to be feared by the warlock. If you have a hunter, you can have warlock fear Roar as soon possible to minimize damage and have the hunter misdirect to OT and distracting shot roar while he is feared.
A mage starts to cast frost spells at Tinhead when the tank has some aggro, and when 8 stacks have been reached the warrior stops producing aggro on Tinhead, leaving him to be kited around the room by the mage spamming Ice Lance.
When Dorothee and Tito are killed, DPS moves on to the Strawman and kills him. After that, the Warrior starts building threat on Roar again and tanks him in the Southwest corner. The warlock also stops fearing Roar now and starts DPSing Tinhead, who is being kited around by the mage and by now should be at around 50%.
When all of these are killed there is a short break before The Crone spawns. The Crone is very easy; he is a tank and spank without a lot of HP, the only thing is the cyclone that goes around the room counter-clockwise that you have to watch out for. This means everyone has to keep moving almost constantly. This is not a problem for the healers, as two renews can keep the MT up.

i agree with the two posts of hundergenwedar...they are good information ..good work m8..i just would like to add some things i notice recently...i dont know if this change now..but frostbolt rank1 they have no effect at Tinhead..spells must be at the bigest rank to stack the slow effect on him..so its better to have a tank always to him until he dies because a mage kite him alone risks been caught by him try slowing him with 2,5 sec casting time spell.(the same thing happends with strawman..he can not be disorient with fire spells rank1...spells must be the at their bigest rank) .also the killing order hundergenwedar propose is nice...my guild actually follow the same killing order but is not means that the killing order can not change...that depends of the classes having in your raid...
something more about roar...we never "spend "a tank on him until the time to kill him..after the first fear hunter make him..a warlock take his place and keep him fear in the entire fight..the warlock must be really focus because if the fear ends roar will go straight to him and "two shot " him ..so always fear him..and just in case have warlock stand near a priest...so i f for any reason loose a fear priest must fear roar to give warlock the time he need to fear again
Finaly..dont make the mistake we do the first time in this event....dont kill tito before dorthee is down ..she will go really crazy...thats all nice posts all ..they have correct information...just remember..maybe you will have to make a change or two in the killing order depending on the classes each time your have in!

Our group was doing opera 1st try, and it was only me(mm hunter), prot tank, resto drood and resto shaman left alive when this spawned. We blew all our CDs and actually managed to get her to 5%. If we would have had full mana when we started she would be dead, none had more than 30% mana when she spawned. Really easy fight. However as we wiped, ran back killed her easily, dropped my Legacy :)
It was our guilds first raid, downed Attumen(yay, new xbow for me), Moroes, Maiden and Opera, Curator to 30% :)

Finally beat this event last night. The key is to keep all the actors under control by way of carefully planning and assigning duties to your players. First, some random notes:
The five "actors" start out neatly lined up on stage. They may be targeted initially, but not attacked until later. This provides enough time to put raid markers on them. Dorothee becomes attackable partway through her first line of dialogue.
Only Roar is subject to standard crowd control (fear, including from hunters). Tinhead eventually snares himself (Frost Bolt does nothing). Strawman gets a confusion effect when hit with fire damage.
Although other comments imply that Tito is no big deal, he actually caused us a lot of trouble until we assigned him to a tank. He appears to have some sort of special attack that does a lot of damage. He killed our healers and our hunter pets.
While Dorothee's Frost Bolt is random, her melee attack does appear to be aggro-based. Her Frost Bolt will hit anything, including pets.
The Crone has a Chain Lightning attack that hits for more than 2,000 damage. It's easy to heal through.
We used two healers, two tanks, and six damage-dealers.
Our kill order: Dorothee, Tito, Strawman, Roar, Tinhead.
Dorothee went down first, due to the randomness of her Frost Bolts. Hunters dropped Snake Traps, which saved some damage as she targeted the snakes with her bolts.
Tito went down next, as he has fairly low health, can't be controlled in any way, and actually ends up doing a significant amount of damage. Our Roar tank also tanked Tito.
Strawman went down next, as he has the biggest risk of getting loose from a resisted spell. In fact, it might have been a good idea to tank Tito longer and get Strawman second. We left him untanked. We had a mage keep him under control with Scorch and other fire spells. Spell hit gear is important. The mage must treat this as a kiting exercise. He needs to run to the far side of the stage from Strawman. In retrospect, a hunter Explosive Trap might have helped a lot.
Roar was next, due to the risk of him getting loose from a Warlock dying. We let one of the tanks gain threat on Roar, but we let a single Warlock keep him feared the whole time. The hunters tried helping with the fear, but it worked out better to go all-out DPS on Dorothee, instead. Hunters can only fear him for 20 seconds out of 30, and Scare Beast has a cast time. It also tends to break early.
Tinhead was last, as he is the easiest to control. We simply found the tank with the most armor, who gained aggro and ran back and forth across the back of the stage. Everyone else stayed at the front of the stage to avoid his cleave. He soon gets so slow that the tank does not get hit much. The tank kept kiting him back and forth as we killed him. He is, however, a huge pain right as he spawns, as he can run amok amongst the clothies with a cleave that will quickly kill them.
If we'd been particularly low on health or mana, it would have been a good idea to keep kiting Tinhead for awhile, to allow time for heals, bandages, mana regeneration, etc.
Once Tinhead was down, we got a few moments to regroup before The Crone attacked. She is un-attackable for awhile, and her cyclones start before she can be attacked. We gathered at the center of the stage to make sure we weren't hit as the cyclones spawned.
Our hunters attempted to use Misdirection to stick Roar and Tinhead to their tanks. However, the fussing around with target-switching and casting slowed down the DPS on Dorothee. On our successful attempt, we abandoned this idea and just went all-out on Dorothee and used the Misdirection once she was down. Hunters that are quicker than we were should probably use the early Misdirection. Helping to fear Roar also wasn't a good idea, as the cast time and targeting again slowed down DPS on Dorothee, and the warlock handled him just fine anyway.

With regards to Tito, make sure Dorothy dies before Tito as she will enrage if he dies first

Our group had a great time with this event yesterday and it went very smoothly.
The group consisted of two prot warriors, a fire mage, two locks, a resto druid, holy priest, a hunter, a pally, and a rogue. You'll find that if everyone does their job, this fight is a cinch and very fun to boot.
After Barnes introduces the event (you'll have a good 30 secs for buffing, mana, etc) the curtain will rise and you'll see Dorothee, Tinhead, Strawman, and Roar in a line. They activate separately with a little time between each. Dorothee starts it off. While she's talking, the MT should immediately run over to Tinhead and get in position about 5 yards in front of him. When he activates, he moves quickly, so you'll be in a good position to grab him before he decimates a healer or two. As far as everyone else goes, here's how it went:
1) The fire mage was on Strawman the whole time. A good mage with lots of dps, should have zero problems keeping him occupied the entire fight.
2) One of our two locks sole responsibility was keeping Roar feared the entire fight...it worked like a charm. I think there was one or two resists, but the interruption didn't last long enough cause any damage.
3) The main tank grabbed Tinhead immediately and threw 5 sunder armors on him while kiting him in a long oval pattern at the back of the stage. Once the sunder armors were on, he'll slow down 85%. This makes him an easy tank job.
4) The OT grabbed Tito (who spawns last from Dorothee) and kept him occupied while everyone else burned down Dorothee.
Some pointers for making it an easy fight:
1) Kill Dorothee first. Everyone except the two tanks, one of our locks, and our mage was on her like white on rice.
2) Kill Tito next. His yapping will silence your raid team members and that could be disastrous. Don't kill him before Dorothee, or she'll enrage.
3) By this point, Strawman was at about 30%...kill him next.
4) After Strawman goes down, everyone concentrate on Tinhead...he'll still be at 85% speed.
5) Roar should be feared throughout, leaving him last to die.
6) While killing Roar, you should take the time to top off and drink up...the Crone will spawn just a few seconds after Roar goes down. She's an easy fight, has little HP, and does little damage. Burn her down and the day is yours.
:-)

My guild's tactic:
Have the Tanks build aggro on their targets, whilst all dps burns down Dorothee (1st). Have a
Mage/Warlock
pick-up Strawman, and a Warrior on Tinhead. Roar should also be tanked, possibly by a Druid.
When Dorothee is killed, move dps onto Tito (2nd) and Roar (3rd). Tank should be kiting Tinhead by now, and mage/warlock should have lowered the Strawman most of the way.
Swap DPS to Strawman (4/5th) and get him down whilst mage continues to tank.
Finally, move on to Tinhead (5/4th),
focusing DPS and Healing
when the Tank moves in to Melee range.
When the crone appears, someone shouts out the whirlwind location, and everyone moves away. The crone should be tanked against the wall, with ranged DPS on the
opposite wall
, avoiding the cyclone and moving all the time. She is fairly flimsy, so the rest of the fight should be cake.
That's the way my guild has always done this attempt, and it is yet to fail us. =) We take down Dorothee first as her bolts are unpredictable, and can be difficult to heal through for healers if they are also keeping the tanks alive.

Hunters - don't lay down a snake trap until all 4 guys are up....it'll bug out the event (anything NOT active will activate, and the curtain will go down 10 seconds later and the late-spawners will disappear...and the side-door opens). You'll have to redo the whole thing.
This is as of 2.3.2 btw.

there is not ned to cast frostbolts at tinman. his rust debuf is scripted and is aplyed after some time. you should only tank him until he is slow enough for some ranged DPS to kitem him around the stage.

For a well geared team (i.e., likely not a group in pre-Opera event raid gear) that just wants to get this one over with fast, I've found that it's easiest to tank all targets except Dorothee. No need to have people worry about fearing/disorienting/etc targets if your tanks & healers are sufficiently geared.
In short:
- Spread tanking assignments for Tito, Roar, Strawman and Tinhead across your available tanks. You can probably do it with one tank but likely you've brought two for Moroes anyway. Tinhead tank can still kite him once he slows down enough of course
- Burn down Dorothee while the tanks pick up their assigned targets as they become active
- Tank and kill Tito as soon as he spawns. Dorothee will enrage but her damage should still be trivial to out-heal
- Finish off Dorothee, then kill the rest in whatever order you prefer
- Tank & spank Crone in the usual way

The crone is just pure tank and spank, look out for the cyclons though because these can get you wiped.
Also notice the chain lighting as it hits of course multiplie players,so make sure all players have at least 4k hp at all times.
