Great guide. Can't wait for this one!
Just so you know, allys can pick up eggs in horde towns and horde can pick them up in ally towns
Making a deathknight will get around the levle 18 requirement. Just have a friend make a deathknight for you
i found more than 250 in goldshire + 2 ears, flowers and the dress( in like 30 minutes) because there were not too many ppl :) (about ppl you had to check argent dawn at 12 pm in goldshire)
The eggs seem to spawn in static locations, at random intervals (anywhere from 1 minute to 5 minutes from my experience). The few places I tried were swamped with people (well, people turned into rabbits) zipping around from spawn to spawn. The only way I was able to get any eggs was to pick a spawn and just camp there. I still lost a few eggs to the rabbits (those suckers really move with that basket), but I did finally get enough to do the two quests.
Note: That, Tome of Polymorph: Rabbit is sold by to vendor for 100 Chocolates. I assume it can only be seen by mages.
What about a female Dwarf? Yikes. It'll be especially difficult for a Horde character to locate one of these elusive toons.
Almost 3 hours of egg-hunting...125 Chocolates, 10 spent for the quest. Eww! On the positive side, I found all of the items I need, except for the Dress. I dread seeing those zones during the day...
opened around 120 eggs, got all the items. So don't spend your chocolates before you get the 100 required for the achievement! You probably get the fancy stuff from the eggs by then.
The spawn rate of the eggs it seems is dependant on the amount of people in the area. More people = Faster spawn rates. Less people = Slower spawn rates.I got the title done in 4 hours. My server was one of the first to start the event, so we had a bunch of level 1's from US servers learning how to do it. Was quite annoying because they had lower latency then me.
